Toronto/Southern ON has passed Rochester as #2 market
shane nelson replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Southern Ontario #2 in attendance and 80% of game day arrest -
The delay was caused by the Rooney Rule. Oh geezzzzzzzzzzzz never mind that's only for HC's. Actually there has been a lot of progress in the front office and on the field, much younger and more diverse. A better reflection of today's NFL. Just like everyone else let’s hope it results in wins. Cause that's all that matters.

Tebow as Fullback and Special Teams Captain
shane nelson replied to MississippiBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think Tibow will bounce around the NFL for a few years then go to Canada. From there he will play for the BC Lions, Calgary Stampers and Toronto Argos. He will then come to Buffalo get us in the playoffs two years in a row and will then be benched before a very winnable playoff game. -
Vick is the best Pick
shane nelson replied to JimKelly4President's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Vick is a coach killer. Did it in Atlanta with Reeves and Jim Mora Jr. and now Andy Reid, Last thing we need is another coach with a ticket on the Buffalo Bills carousel. Let turnpike Mike go to the Jets. Matt Flynn/Alex Smith is the best choice if the price is right. -

shane nelson replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am one Bills fan to lives in NJ,w/season tickets for NYG. Can't wait!! With a little luck the Bill will open at home and it will be a double header weekend. Its just spring, but can't wait for the fall. Go Bills!! -
I have lived in NJ for 23 years and have had Giants tickets for 20. I lost my kids to the Giants a long time ago, or should I say the Giants wom them over. Always believe you should stick with your hometown team no matter what and for my kids its the NYG. Better that the NE or Dallas

Godell may just save the Bills afterall...
shane nelson replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We act like a small market because our owner has said for the past 52 years that Buffalo is a small market and should be grateful that he brought a team to this 3rd tier region. This message has been leveraged with ever negation he has ever had. Let’s hope our next owner gets it! -
Sanchez can't handle crowd noise
shane nelson replied to mountainwampus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He looked pretty good on the road in the playoffs the past two years but agree we need lot of noise from the Bills faithful. Also need lots of hits. It's November…….time for smackmouth football. -
Probably one of the greatest trades in team history. Up there with the OJ trade to the 49ers. Completely changed the team and how the Bills would operate under Bill Polian. Bill would take risk and sign large checks. Also get rid of “Tinker” Bell who was a grade B back at best with a bad attitude. The following year "Tinker" was replaced when the Bills drafted the Thurmanator. Those were fun days!!

Since I love football, I secured Giants season tix 20 plus years ago when I moved to Jersey. While there are always jerks never had a problem, sorry there was one a@#$whole that acted like a real jerk. All in all Giant fans love their team and show it. I guess that is New York. Generally its a bit of give and take. Went with my family Sunday wearing my Bills stuff, did not have one problem. Sorry dude, what that guy did sucks

if you want to tailgate near the stadium you will need a parking pass. You can find them on ebay or scalpers on route 3. There is a cash lot, but I do not know how far it is from the stadium and if you can tailgate. Probably need to check the medowlands website for that data.

I have never taken the train from the city but it appears to be straight forward. i have taken the Port Authority Bus and it pretty easy. Either appear to be good options. i would check out port authority website to see what time they start to run in the AM I got this from the NYC Bill Backers today. Here is their tailgating spot http://nycbbb.com/notes/giants-tailgate-location/ They indicated an update on tailgating will be sent on Thursday. I will post as well. But you should also be able to find data on the BBNYC website Go Bills

I live in NJ and have Giants Season tickets. Just so everyone is aware the new stadium is all parking passes. You can get one on ebay for $40 or less. Scalpers are always on the side of the road selling them as well. If you do not have a pass its a bus ride or long walk to the stadium. I am not sure if you can tailgate in those lots. So if you plan to meet in the lots best to get a parking pass. I will follow all week, let me know if you have any questions on the New Giants Stadium

Still Frames of Stevie's Catch
shane nelson replied to Cotton Fitzsimmons's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It should never have come down to one play. Yes the refs got it wrong and if we get the first down we win the game, but watching the NE and Oakland games a few times a number of questionable calls went in our favor. That is football. We have to address bigger issue than the refs. Issues like run defense, pass defense and corner backs. If we dont fix those out great start will be waisted -
Bills vs Giants in The Meadowlands
shane nelson replied to tommy12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I live in Jersey and have been a Giants season ticket holder for 20 years. I also have Bills seasons tickets and make it to the Ralph a few times every season. The Meadowlands use to be pretty tame for the Giants, but it has picked it up the past few years. 95% of the fans are great and love the Giants. The other 5% are the A** you find anywhere. Bust a few chops, give a guy a beer and you will be fine. Tailgating seen is also pretty good. Act like a good house guest and they will welcome you to their home. Enjoy!! -
What A Stadium In Niagara Falls Would Look Like
shane nelson replied to BiggieScooby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills by the Niagara River. I have visions of many people taking the plung. Here is a future eyewitness sport broadcast http://www.toxicjunction.com/get.asp?i=V3770 -
Great Question. I moved to NJ 20 plus years ago and started going to Giants game 2 seasons after SBXXV. So Giants are my 2nd team. My house is divided between Bills and Giant fans, so at least half the house know the joys of a SB victory!! When Bills play the Giants, Bills all the way even if it means nothing for Buffalo and playoffs for NY. I have taken a number of Jersey guys to Buffalo and we all agree that there is nothing like Buffalo. No matter what you should always cheer for your home team, unless it’s the NY Jets. Jets and their fans suck!!

Interesting tidbit on Ralph
shane nelson replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This happens the end of every season, by every team in the NFL. Standard operating procedure. As far as Ralph a very good person, who has brought and retained the NFL in WNY. Does he meddle, yes. Is he a good football man. The record speaks for itself. Even during the glory days, the Bills got luck. Bill Polian was already in the organization and Marv was not considered a risky hire at the time. While the Bills will be in Buffalo as long as Ralph is alive; we will never be winners as long as he owns the team. -
What would rather have; an 18 game schedule with 2 pre season games or a 16 game schedule with 4 pre season games. As a season ticketholder I pay for two games to watch player that might play in Canada or the arena bowl one day. These are the two options
-
good point
-
All for it, with a few conditions of course. 2 game pre-season and start the season Labor Day weekend, if not the weekend before. NFL schedule maker needs to get a lot smarter. More Sept, Oct games in cold weather climate and more Nov, Dec and January games in warm weather or dome stadiums. Don't let the NFLPA fool you. Players hate training camp and it causes a large number of injuries. The 18 game schedule will not add two weeks to the players season. It will reduce 2 weeks of much hated camp. With all of the mini camps and excellent conditioning programs training camp is not needed as it was 20 years ago.

i no longer live in the area, so I am not aware of the local forecast. I have had decent luck there in the past. I just got a notice from the Bills that you can buy passes for lot 1 at their website for $20.
