All of this under Jauron... give it one more season, then you can kill him. Remember how good this team looked on opening night, with all of the toys and none of the injuries??? Just think about it. These Hillbillies are talking a good game, they'll either succeed or go down looking like fools after all the big talk, especially from Nix. This season this team could be more competitive than many of you think.

The only "real" issue with Trent Edwards is his inability to survive an entire season in one piece. Honest to God, the guy is probably mid-pack among all starting QBs in this league if he is given a decent offensive system to work in. I really wish that everyone would take an oath to "zip it" for one more season....If he either fails to emerge as the Opening day starter or flames out once again by season's end, then and only then, do we loose the hounds.

None! Some things in life are not worth the health risks...

To the young folks: Never waste a dime of your money on any product that promises "growth"...that goes for hair tonic and titty cream too. Viagra and the like will help make the most of what you have, but you will still only have what mother nature endowed you with at the end of the day. So live your life and go out there and enjoy gettin' yer little pickle waxed! Just don't expect your gettin' a mighty cucumber because you pop a couple of pills a week. Soooooo many ads out there targeting the delicate psyche of young folks not yet comfortable with their bodies

Hypothetically speaking of course.... Virtually everyone on this board is more brainy & diverse than I ever dreamed I'd find on a "football forum". I hope to find some interesting contributions based on what I've read so far from the members. -
For pure personal listening enjoyment in this or the afterlife, pick two to take with you...just because you can.

Buddy Rich Mark Brzezicki

Elvis Costello.

Neil Finn.

For your listening displeasure sir: Sorry audio only, but check out those (real) strings from the Skylarking album. Dave Gregory and TR worked this one out nicely.

I know nothing of you, and you have noooooooooooooo idea about "my kind". We both know that you made some sarcastic refrences elsewhere, including your "wicked" post. Pot? Is that you? I did not address that however. I said that you were hard-headed, heck I'm hard-headed! Not at all the insult that you think it is. I really don't know what it is that you want from me??? But I do know that I have a right to be on the message board of my favorite team just as much as you or anyone else who has been on here forever. Will it satisfy you if I denounce XTC and burn all of my records? We all can't help what we love...you love salmon and I love XTC . Should I deprive you of your salmon?

Does not hurt me in the least, it amuses me to no end. For a guy who scrambled to research as hard as you have, I feel personally validated somehow! To find even two folks on this board who would consider XTC high on their personal favorites list is astounding given this relatively miniscule cross section of the population. In other words I found more than I would have ever dreamed of on Buffalo Bills MB! Sure you have a right to your opinion, you seem to think that I somehow want to convert you, not true. It is strange however that such a bright individual such as yourself could not pick out the British charm (thought your were a Python fan?) and realize that at least lyrically this band is a cut above their supposed contemporaries. Again, totally understand that they are not your cup of tea, but to clump them into the "suck camp" is to miss the boat. Their quirky sound and humor is what makes them fascinating to myself and others who dig 10 layers deep beyond what appears to be on the surface. I have not personally addressed you since last week, I don't know why you feel the need to "jump in" to a conversation and attack. I do not hate you, yet you are filled with hatred toward me. Why not use the ignore feature if I cause you so much grief??? You can go your merry way and I can go mine, but I will talk as long as you are willing to listen, and apparently you are prepared to listen a lot!

Up until about a week ago, you had heard exactly two XTC songs. You hate being called an idiot yourself, yet you just keep tossing out the insults even after I let everything go. I may be a lot of things but I can promise you that I am not an idiot. I hate that I called you a bunch of names but things escalated. Again, I could care less what/who you like. Never has been my point.... I can't stand it when people judge things based off of a brief exposure. Is that how you would like to be judged or defined? Does one period of your life or event pigeonhole and define YOU. It would be great if we could carry on a civil conversation. I never said that you SHOULD like any band EVER. You made an off the cuff remark that the band was comprised of lousy musicians, I refuted that with evidence that suggested otherwise. What is so hard about this? You don't have to like something in order to recognize a talent in it. Sheeesh!

No more or less than the hardhead I was "debating" with. Bottom line: don't rip a band if you know nothing about them beyond vague surface information.
-
Nope, have not been around long enough. But I will surely take note...
-
Well, if that were true then you would not be applying the terms corpse and cadaver to a couple of guys that last time I checked, were still Rock Legends. I mean c'mon it is funny when those terms are applied to Jauron......but this is the freakin' WHO we are talking about here people!
-
Pretty disrespectful way to put it....but I cannot disagree. I drew my kids close to me with high expectations, explaining that this may be as close as they will ever get to the legendary Who. I felt embarassed for them. Poor Pete's shirt kept flopping open revealing his old man tummy. All in all, not their fault or anything but they should simply bill themselves as Daltrey/Townshend. Then again CBS wouldn't pay the big bucks if that were the case...

Not a huge fan of the band but...Geoff Tate is pretty good...Bruce Dickinson too. How about, with a shoutout to Astrojanitor: Lindsey Buckingham/Stevie Nicks Phil Oakey Bernard Sumner Colin Newman Cy Curnin Curt Smith

Strangely, I own "Two sides of the Moon", a Keith Moon solo album. It has a funky reversible insert that allows the LP cover to exhibit either Keith's face or his ass, depending on your mood I suppose...either way, it contains some pretty god-awful singing.
-
Keith Moon as a singer????
-
Ha freakin HA, I wish once just once, crayonz that you would listen to Psonic Psunspot, and then get back to me about basslines...

One of my guilty pleasures when it comes to Lennon vocals is "Please Mr. Postman", I know it is a cover but I love his interpretation. Good choice '63----White Album is my favorite!
