  1. Why? B/c of arm strength, age or mobility?
  2. 100% agreed. He's going to be hungry. I hope Nix is at least doing the proper recon on him, i.e., how he is in the locker room, football intelligence, etc.
  3. Quinn has greater upside than any FA QB out there right now. And I'd rather have him over Fitz, Brohm or Trent. The kid has something to prove.
  4. At this point, what's there to lose? Quinn didn't have the best stats in the world, but, in the Cleveland games that I watched, he definitely had some leadership qualities for a young kid.

  6. I meant Billick and Belichick... typing too fast
  7. I guess that applies for Brian Belichick, Marv Levy, Mike Shanahan and dozen others too. Nice try though.
  8. Terrible idea.
  9. That was over 10 years ago. I think Gailey is more experienced now and wiser. Plus, I agree w/ Manbeast that Jones was still probably pulling the trigger on many of those picks.
  10. If we bring in a solid QB and run more of a spread offense, I wouldn't be against Owens coming back for $5 million. But, I don't think that's going to happen.
  11. He's going to provide depth and be a rotational guy -- nothing more.
  12. seriously... what is everyone drinking today? people want campbell or thigpen? that is just terrible.
  13. this is just brutal. jason cambell? that's the best we can do... jesus christ.
  14. Grossman? Really? Get bent.
  15. i don't buy that one bit. i watched almost every SD game and when they were ahead in games, they just took him out. they did that even w/ sproles in the 4th. also, you have to keep in mind that SD has turned into a pass first offense. there were times this year where they barely ran the ball, and i don't think that's solely because LT is past his prime. it's just a different philosophy, especially b/c rivers and jackson have come into their own. even if they're lucky enough to get spiller in this year's draft, you'll see his attempts be way below league average. it'll be similar to that of arizona last year.
  16. one thing to keep in mind as well is that SD pulled him out of many games towards the end of the season, which if they left him in, he would have had a better season statistically. he's past his prime, but, between missing two games this year and the lack of 3rd and 4th quarter carries, his stats suffered tremendously. he probably could have had a 1000 yd., 15+ TD season again.
  17. wouldn't that be a kick in the balls if he became a legitimate QB in oakland and posted some solid numbers next year.
  18. Westbrook could easily turn into the next larry centers in terms of receptions... if he can stay healthy. Not a fit for Buffalo, but, he could be dynamic in 3rd down situations in Minnesota if they let Taylor go.
  19. i just find it hard to believe (even w/ 10 sacks this year) that a texas team would give up anything higher than a 4th or 5th rounder for schobel.
  20. the draft is the only way we'll find aquality NT this year. pickett isn't coming to buffalo.
  21. wouldn't be surprised. LT can still sniff out the endzone like no other.
  22. sad day for football. too many similarities when TT was let go. you just hate to see when such amazing players are released from franchises they played such an important role in developing.
