Wishing everyone a Happy and Prosperous New Year.  Hopefully.  2023 is that golden year when the parade in Buffalo happens in February.

This has been one fascinating and fast paced season.  We started with a bang,  went through a slew of injuries, then got slammed by a tough defense and then lost to a silly play;  The bills were forced to play 3 games on the road in 12 days and showed their grit in gutting out wins.  They have continued to demonstrate improved play and win consistently in the clutch.

Every game has been fascinating whether it was an annihilation of the opponent or squeaked by the whiff of their hair.  The Bills have entertained us throughout the year and kept us on the edge of the seats.   Wishing them for great success in January and into February.

January 2023 is starting with the game of the year on MNF; This is even more bigger than the one we pulled out at Kansas City.  The #1 seed is on the line and the Bills control their own destiny.  Go Bills !

Back at 'Ya - Go Bills!

The offense has changed from last year, so he needs to get up to speed, all while the team is focused on each next game, even though he used to be in the team it was under Daboll.

Considering you are an Italian Bills fan, think of getting a new guy up to speed like this...

It's like cooking risotto, you can't rush it or it doesn't come out right, and no matter how quick you want to cook it you need to take your time.  You got your broth simmering, which is our playbook, then you got the risotto which is Beasley.

First we need to put some oil in the pan and cook some shallots or whatever else you want to go in. You get that going in the pan first -- that's calling his agent for a deal.

Next, we add the aborio rice and toast it, this is getting Beasley acclimated to the staff and his new team mates.

Now we got the broth simmering, the playbook. We can't add it all at once,  we need to scoop it in ladel by ladel, and we need to keep mixing the rice (which is the equivalent of practice). After about 40+ minutes of ladeling in broth (playbook) a cup at a time while mixing (practice), we are looking good.

Now we add in some fresh chopped parsley and some parmagiano-reggiano or whatever else, which will be the new game plan installs of his role,  and boom we are ready.

At this point in time I suspect we are still adding broth and mixing.

I think the staff will have him ready to go as a matchup dependent role player for playoffs.

    Buon appetito!

    I'm starving now.

    This.

I think Frazier would be a very good choice. Plus would allow a good OC to focus only on the offense. Having an offensive mind as a HC, would would be less effective IMO having  multiple responsibilities. Get a good OC and let a HC like Frazier focus on the entire team and culture.

I sincerely hope Leslie gets another HC opportunity and I wish him the very best if he leaves.

Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, Sally Field. Something disturbing and sad for these famous women. Find some grandkids to spend your final years with.

The cold and snow is already in the Dolphins heads especially Tuna.

I heard him on TV saying that he played in a snow game his first year at Alabama. Apparently they had an inch in Northern Alabama and some flurries at the stadium. And then he commented that it snow's in Alabama too. He'll be the first one running for the heated bus.

    Squish the Fish

    Pummel the water mammals

An inch of snow in Alabama, we call that a dusting here in Buffalo!

I love that Cole Beasley is back, he will be a positive influence on the offense for Josh to connect with.

One week you’re an also-ran, 7th seed, 3rd in your Division. The next week, you’re King of the Conference. One week, your star All Pro CB returns after a year away from reconstructive knee surgery, the next week you lose your All Pro DE with the same injury. So it goes In today’s NFL. So thrilled to wake up Monday in 1st Place, having the stars align the day before. But it’s tenuous at best, likely requiring we win out with 5 games remaining just to maintain it. 5 games remaining?!? I easily recall when week 14 meant the season finale!

Task 1. The feisty, rejuvenated NY Jets -who no longer roll over and play dead. Their Defense has emerged as one the best and loaded with great young talent. They’re nipping at our heels as no Division team has a losing record. Say that again. Week 14 and not one losing record in the AFCEeast! Last year, our #1 ranked Defense had zero PBers. I’m guessing the Jets will have a handful of them this year! They’re outstanding on Defense (Saleh) with no end in sight and becoming dangerously talented on Offense. Did I mention they’ve already beaten us?

Our schedule this year had to be drawn up on Ripley’s Believe It or Not, with 4 games to play vs the Division this late in the year. Not too many years ago, our schedule was Sunday at 1 PM unless we were playing out west. Now? I’m glad there aren’t 8 days a week, cuz we’re already playing on 4 different days of the week -with Saturday, Monday and likely a Sunday night still to complete.

We have the pieces together to meet this gauntlet and we’re a veteran team that knows what it takes to grab December games by the throat.
That’s a great thing, because that’s what has to happen! Starting today!

    GO BILLS!
