I think he's doing what he's told 8 out of the 10 times. The other two times he deviates out of necessity. TT hasn't struck me as a freelancer. Ever. There's next to no audibles at the line, and unless he's flushed from the pocket, he follows the script. Remember, you've got guys preaching "process" and conformity all over the place under McDermott.

I'll support the trade no matter what MD does for the remainder of his career. His motivation to work is temporary.

Once again, the Bills coaching staff has no idea how to adjust to an opponent who has game film on them. How many times have we said this over the years about the Bills approach to games by their coordinators? Taylor deserves blame but I put the majority of it on McDermott and Dennison for not being aware that teams were going to catch up to the tactics sooner rather than later. It’s like they don’t start out with the premise “Ok, Tyrod has to be in the pocket. What can we do to make him successful?” as the Monday Morning question on the whiteboard. Frazier's should be "why can't we sack anybody?"

I think the offense has lost faith in Dennison and his reluctance to deviate from the "his" blocking scheme no matter how ineffective it is. Same old, same old.

Bills set some very dubious marks today
dpberr replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dennison and Frazier have been found out. Can't keep doing the same thing week in and week out. The reason the first drive sorta went well was because it wasn't part of the script every teams had a chance to watch tape on. It's lazy and stubborn. A bad combo. -
There's too much of it on TV and its had a decline in quality. There are many parallels between the fate of the Simpsons TV show and the NFL when you think about it. The longer it's around the less people care about it, and ultimately it becomes a shadow of its former self, just hanging on for hanging on's sake.

Trouble in *Cheats land? TB & BB relationship not great?
dpberr replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I surmise that BB will retire because he no longer has control over his roster post Brady power play. Who knows - maybe he doesn't think a 41 year old QB in 2018 is a great idea either. -
Did the defense quit on Coach Thursday?
dpberr replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IMO there was no quit. However, that team looked tired and out of rhythm from snap one. I'm sure a lot of us have played sports at some point in our lives. You know you have games where you and half the team isn't feeling it. -
With half a season down, how goes the second half?
dpberr replied to MTBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We will know more in the first half of the Saints game. In years past, a beat down in one game had a hangover that spanned several. If this year is THE year, the New Orleans game is going to tell you a whole lot. -
FYI, September had the most posts in TBD history...
dpberr replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's surprising considering some of the All-Time threads. I'm surprised the month Mario Williams signed wouldn't beat out September 2017. -
First coach fired is going to be......
dpberr replied to BmarvB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Another vote for Vance Joseph. Elway isn't going to tolerate shellackings like that, even if he's a rookie head coach. I actually think Hue Jackson will stay in Cleveland. It's the FO that will be fired. My dark horse candidate for firing/resignation etc. is Jack Del Rio. -
Rex happy with TV job but open to NFL return
dpberr replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Coaching is a young man's game today. There's little reason to hire a retread who's been fired from two head coaching jobs. Hell, the Rams have a head coach barely in his 30s. -
Loss to the Saints next week=wheels come off?
dpberr replied to Plano's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We are all going to see what McDermott is made of as a coach, that's for sure. -
It was an egg. Entire team from coach down to the random people on the sidelines all looked tired and disinterested.

ESPN: The Great Tyrod Taylor Debate
dpberr replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tyrod Taylor is the 2018 Quarterback if the Bills get over the hump this year, a historically significant event in itself. One, he's earned it. Two, that'd be seriously chancing the karma/mojo/cosmic gods by jettisoning him for a rookie. -
Opinion: Writing Is on the Wall - Cam Is Coming
dpberr replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree somewhat with the OP that the Panthers are done with Newton for whatever reason. I think he'll be on another team next year. However, I don't think it'll be the Bills. -
Thursday feels like a trap game to me. It's the biggest worry I've got on the remaining schedule because we've been here before and it's gone poorly. Have to beat the Patriots once. My prognostication that the Bills and Pats will have identical records at their first meeting is so far holding up.

He's there, It's mid-season, he's in game shape, he's staying in the same time zone and there's no real advantage to not letting him play.

Harvey Weinstein (and others) accused of sexual harrasement

Hollywood is going to burn like the state it is located in. Perhaps Corey Feldman was right all along. -
More “painful” layoffs coming for espn
dpberr replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ESPN like cable news is now 97% talking heads giving opinions, 3% real news and sports "opinion" is over-saturated. Those opinions either turn people off or just wear you out and ultimately make their on-air personalities unlikable. -
Belichick getting haunted by bad GM'ing again
dpberr replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think the Patriots have drafted very well absent Brady and I think that's what is catching up to them, especially on defense. Their defense is slow and average and Brady is the only thing saving them now. (They score 28 points a game, give up 26). -
Positives/Negatives from Today's game
dpberr replied to Overseas Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Beating the Raiders will make a believer out of me. That game is going to be a defensive grinder. I'm curious about what happened yesterday in the second half. Did TB make offensive adjustments that worked or did we make defensive adjustments that didn't work? -
He is injury prone. After he was drafted, he had two surgeries - one on the hip and the other to repair abdomen muscle. In camp, he hurt his hamstrings. Now, the knee. Very talented athlete and will be an amazing safety but IMO he's got a basketball player body and it will betray him with playing football.
