  1. We are again the MIGHTy Bills!!!
  2. Very nice!! I'm all about intended puns.
  3. How can that be an unintended pun? I hate that phrase...that was as intentional as they come. I'm ready to riot over this nonsense. [sarcasm intended]
  4. Jay Cutler has never led his team to the playoffs and in 3+ seasons as a starter (53 games) has a career W/L record of 24-29 for an amazing 45% of games won while throwing 63 INTs!! Over that same time period...the Bills have compiled a 22-31 record....just 2 games behind this great QB. Brandon Marshall is a stud on the field...but his off the field problems would embarrass OJ (just seeing if you're paying attention) So in return for these 2 FABULOUS, HARD WORKING football prodigies (again, being sarcastic for those who are immune to it)...Coach Josh McDaniels has obtained (2) 1st round picks...(2) 2nd round picks...and a 3rd round pick....and QB Kyle Orton, who in 51 career games has a 30-21 record for a nearly 59% winning pct. (for those math imbeciles out there, that's 6 more wins than Cutler in 2 less games) and only 39 INTs. For those doing stat checks, I got these from ESPN.com and totaled their career games played in, not started. So there may be a slight discrepancy because official stats only show a QB's starts. I would say the Broncos are doing a hell of a job out there in Denver, if they manage to capitalize on those picks with good players, of course.
  5. Parcells has taken 3 if my memory is right...2 Cowboy teams and won the division a couple years ago with the Dolphins. I would take 3 playoff seasons in 10 years opposed to none.
  6. How the hell hasn't he been more proven?..More career TDs, more career yardage...Oh, and a Super Bowl title with an MVP to go along with it... Marshawn has averaged a paltry 4.0 yards/carry for his career and was replaced in the starting lineup by a guy who should have no business starting over him. Which only speaks of Marshawn's work ethic.
  7. I keep seeing all over the place people saying we need to trade Lynch for a 2nd round pick. Never going to happen. Santonio Holmes showed what the market will pay for trouble makers (and Holmes is WAY more proven than Lynch is), so the Bills would be wise to keep him on the team as a 2nd RB or be willing to part with him for nearly nothing.
  8. You're off your rocker if you think any team in this league will cough up a 2nd round pick for a trouble making, underachieving RB. The Santonio Holmes trade showed you what the market pays for players like that...and Holmes is WAY more proven than Lynch. If this is your dream draft...how about one for reality.
  9. If this Holmes deal is any indication, there is not a chance in hell you get a 3rd round pick for Lynch.
  10. thanks for putting me in my place... I am forever shamed.
  11. This is more an attack on all of the crazy theories floating around out there about trading up or down in the draft or for players we could never aquire for the likes of Roscoe Parrish and Marshawn Lynch, etc... just messing around, maybe I need some sleep...
  12. Wow DanInUticaTampa... you wouldn't know anything about sarcasm, would you? This is an OBVIOUS attempt at it, please work on developing a sense of humor.
  13. Everyone's got their panties in a bunch over this whole "franchise QB" thingy, and it's very simple to solve. Let's just offer Marshawn Lynch and Roscoe Parrish AND our 3rd round pick to the Colts for Manning. PROBLEM SOLVED. Seems just as logical as anything else I've read on here....
  14. We could also inquire about TEs Jerramy Stevens and Mark Chmura. MG12
  15. I am going to start signing all of my posts in honor of PromoTheRobot. MG12
  16. 5 NFC championship games...forget he just took them against the Cardinals in Jan 2009 (yes, just 14 months ago)? And he has only been in the NFL for 11 seasons (so he's made the playoffs 8 of 11 years)
  17. and we play Pittsburgh this year, too...that's at least 3 games he "gets up" for.
  18. You're so right...here we go... Thank you so much Buffalo Bills organization!! All of these terrible moves through the last decade and horrible coaches and ZERO playoff appearances since 1999 have been AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for going from a top notch organization to a perennial bottom feeder!!! I sure hope you continue with this for the next decade, because we love being not only uncompetitive in the NFL, we can't even compete for our own division!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We all (well, most of us anyway....) love the Bills, we would just prefer they be a better product on the field. Give us a competitive team and I can assure you the fans will be less pessimistic. I guess the only way I agree with you is for those fans posting that they have already given up on the Bills in 2010. I'm optimistic about our future and cannot wait to see what Buddy Nix and company can deliver.
  19. You are looking at this all wrong....the Bills are going to go 15-1...win the Super Bowl...and when the 2011 lockout happens, we get to be defending Super Bowl champions for 2 YEARS!!!!!
  20. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/355120-...et-john-skelton Here's another article I found, don't know if it is up anywhere....
  21. Don't know what's more sad, a repeat thread or a guy who looks for repeat threads to point them out to the person who re-posted it. Hmmmm.
  22. now come on... I live in Pittsburgh (thank god I wasn't raised here!!!) and am a diehard Bills fan. And I freakin HATE the Steelers!!! I see you wrote they're idiots for the most part, hope I'm part of the less part!!
