Stop the Wilson bashing, just buy the team

Of those 70,000 "owners", who's gonna make the decisions? -
Can we give it up one time for Freddy Jackson?
machinegun12 replied to Heitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am equally impressed with how FJ handled himself off the field so far this season as well. He easily could have caused a commotion about his playing time after his solid season last year. Seems like a true pro. -
Okay so do we need to trade Lee Evans now?
machinegun12 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would be the humane thing to do. Let him have the pleasure of enjoying SOME success in his career. -
Maybe we can start using lower letters...I'm thinking Y- or a Z+

The Bills Real Competition
machinegun12 replied to NaPolian8693's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm in agreement with the whole Luck staying in school theory, so unless we have the #1 pick in 2012, we aren't getting him. To answer the original question, I think the Raiders, Browns and Panthers will all be in the running with us for the 1st pick, and although they're both 2-2, I see the Rams and Jags coming back to reality and competing as well. -
Its always darkest before the dawn

Totally agree. WILL NEVER HAPPEN!! -
Maybe we can reaquire Jason Peters.....NOT!!!

I don't think that the Bills becoming a laughingstock just became official. It's been going on quite some time now.

Perfect example that shows Buffalo's biggest need
machinegun12 replied to Cornerville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Something tells me that if Warner was still there, they would still compete for their division or a wild card spot. -
Defense 1. Jairus Byrd 2. Leodis McKelvin 3. Paul Posluszny 4. Kyle Williams 5. Dwan Edwards Offense 1. CJ Spiller 2. Lee Evans 3. Eric Wood 4. Roscoe Parrish 5. Marshawn Lynch If I had to keep 5 on each side of the ball, it would probably be this. When will the freefall end?

Bills stomp the Jets at home
machinegun12 replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't see the Bills dominating the Jets by any means (I hope I'm wrong, of course), but I could see a close, hard fought 17-16 or 23-21 kind of a game. Just hope it's the Bills on the plus side of those scores. -
What do you make of this?

I keep hoping Chris Berman will start picking against us. I think it's like the Madden curse. -
who would you root for if the Bills left
machinegun12 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have to be totally honest...as much as I would love to say the NFL would be "dead" to me, I think I would follow what was happening with our "former" Bills team no matter where they ended up. I know I wouldn't love them like the Bills of Buffalo, but I know for a fact that they would be the only team that I would feel any "connection" to whatsoever. -
So how are all of you doing
machinegun12 replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really hate "I told you so" threads. I especially hate "I told you so" threads after 2 games of a 16 game season. At least write one when you can actually say "I told you so". -
Haynesworth makes me so angry that I just feel the need to stomp on somebody's face with cleats on.

What is right with the Buffalo Bills !!!!
machinegun12 replied to tonyjustbcuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Close...the Pirates have had 17 straight losing seasons (a record for all 4 major sports, by the way) but they are certainly headed for an 18th straight this year and I will go out on not much of a limb and predict that number to extend past 20. My positive thought...I think the Bills will play in the Super Bowl in their home state of New York in 2014, and we'll beat an NFC team that relies on throwing the football with a nasty "D", a punishing ground attack, and a well-timed winter storm. -
What about this approach?
machinegun12 replied to sllib olaffub's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know this wasn't the point of the post...but we've had pretty good QBs...Jim Kelly, Jack Kemp, Joe Ferguson, Drew Bledsoe, Doug Flutie.... Why don't you try naming some good QBs for the Detroit Lions, Arizona Cardinals (Kurt Warner was probably their all-time best and they had him for what, 3-4 seasons?), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Testaverde, anyone?), New York Jets (Namath is a hall of famer, but his numbers say otherwise), Chicago Bears (if it's Jim McMahon, that's sad), Atlanta Falcons, and I won't consider the Panthers or Texans yet, the Jags had a very good one in Brunell for a while... I guess it goes to show how hard it really is to find even one or two great ones over an extended period of time. (I'm not suggesting Flutie or Ferguson were great, but they appear to be just as solid as some franchise's best QBs ever). -
when you write "That's"...then you don't have to write "is"...because the apostrophe and the "s" is short for "is"...unless you meant to say "That is is all, carry on."...if so, nevermind. Anyhow... hope JP does well with Seattle and resurrects his career.

Our Franchise QB is on our roster!
machinegun12 replied to 95altima12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His TD% is 66.7!!! Compare that to Peyton's (5.6%) and Drew Brees (4.85%)....not too shabby. -
I was thinking the same exact thing.

I am not sold that we are going to win the Super Bowl this year or anything, but I'm really excited to see how this year's draft class performs and hope we can contend for a playoff spot...then I'll be even more thrilled to see how we continue to build this next offseason and (if there is a 2011 season) how we perform in year 2 of the Nix/Gailey plan. I think there is a lot to be excited/optimistic about!!

I Can't Wait 'Til The Home Opener!!
machinegun12 replied to R. Rich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
CJ Spiller runs for 125 and 2 rush TDs and catches 7 balls for 73 yards and a rec TD....oh and by the way, returns a kickoff 103 yards for a TD and returns 2 punts for TDs (for all those counting...yes...he scores 6 TDs in his debut) while Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch thumb wrestle on the sidelines. The Bills win the game 70-0 (Spiller returned the 2nd half kickoff...hence the shutout) on their way to the Super Bowl at the Palace in Dallas....where we destroy the first team to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium....the Dallas Cowboys...by a score of 77-3...avenging our back to back SB losses to Dallas in 93 and 94...Defensive player of the year and comeback player of the year Aaron Maybin knocks Tony Romo out on the first play of the game while Super Bowl XLV MVP Levi Brown throws 9 TD passes to 9 different recievers (1.Evans 2.M.Easley 3.Spiller 4.D.Schouman 5.S.Nelson 6.F.Jackson 7.J.Hardy 8.N.Roosevelt 9.J.Klopfenstein) while Jairus Byrd accounts for the other 2 scores by returning INTs for TDs... I am also a two time powerball winner so please just take my word on this. -
Who is CJ Spillers Agent?
