Dr Andrews/Mike Shanahan at odds over RGIII injury
Stealth replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So Shannahan took the redskins from a doormat to one of the more explosive dominant rushing offenses in the league and a division championship should be fired? Yeah no. Of course the RG3 situation should've been handled different but Shanny is a good coach -
He's a well respected veteran leader we could use that. I mean did anyone see London Fletcher still playing well at 37? Give it a chance

brent musburger is kinda creepy, but I guess it's true what they say. You're only dead when you stop noticing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPdjX4Kya7o&feature=player_embedded

What about Bobby April for ST Coach
Stealth replied to Chris in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he's not still salty about being passed over as the interim hc when jauron got fired and not subsequently interviewed at the end of the year than yeah -
Bills hire Mike Pettine of the Jets as DC???
Stealth replied to LiterateStylish's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I highly doubt that Maybin was brought in because the Jets had no pass rusher, The Bills do there would be no need for maybin -

Stealth replied to LiterateStylish's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't go that far but it would help our overall defense and instead of the sit back vanilla scheme we'd start dictating the play instead of hoping we make a stop -

Stop being married to a scheme for christ sake. Every good defense in the NFL is versatile and for the record the Jets play a hybrid 3/4 4/6. Regardless of the base alignment of the defense we still need linebackers and depth anyway. -
Haslett for DC? Return of the Bermuda Triangle?
Stealth replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Haslett as a d coordinator in a second without question. -
Members of Chan's staff welcome to interview to come back
Stealth replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope no one was serious about Wanny coming back. I dont know how anyone could stomache another year of vanilla defense. I've seen more aggressive little league defenses -
Monte Kiffin for Defensive Coordinator?
Stealth replied to BrooklynBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Depends. With the dline the Bills have yes. It worked in Tampa, Worked in Indy, Worked in Chicago. Some of the best defenses over the past 20+ years have been a variation of the tampa 2. It all depends on the players you have. The way Jauron coached it with the lack of talent we had on the dline of course it wasn't going to work. As for Kiffin no thank you though his defense at USC was brutal down the stretch. I dont see him getting much in the way of looks from the NFL -
we most certainly do. Besides the tampa 2 is a base 4-3.

Luck is a tank but the Ravens defense is making him look erratic and pretty bad overall than again that's been Luck all year. He's made the occasional plays and extends drives but he's not very accurate and throws a lot of sloppy passes.

Bills hire Doug Marrone to be Head Coach
Stealth replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anyone the Bills hired would be berated by fans. It's a no win situation. Honestly I don't know much about Marrone but I love the idea of CJ Spiller in a wco he's a tailor made rb for that. The big issue will be finding a qb but we needed that regardless of who the hc was. Now we'll see who Marrone is bringing in as coordinators. It def is a different kind of hire for the Bills that's for sure -
Angelo Crowell wasn't a gm he's a former Bills LB. You're thinking former bears GM Jerry Angelo and yeah from what I've heard and read smith and Angelo butted heads frequently.

Chip Kelly HC! (possibly for the Browns)
Stealth replied to 13player's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Such a misnomer about the spread offense. There are so many variations to it. You can run the spread option or something like Ne/Houston/Indy did with Peyton. Where you're sending out wr's on routes to stretch out defenses then hit them with the running game. Relying more on the ability of your qb to make quick decisions with the ball accurately. Or you can run the spread option with a more mobile RG3 type qb. -
Chip Kelly HC! (possibly for the Browns)
Stealth replied to 13player's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because Vick is the only mobile qb available. VICK OR NOBODY!!! -
Jennings is a good player but yeah stop being such a puss. The weather outside is weather.

I don't understand the fasincation with Dalton either. He reminds me a lot of Fitzpatrick except instead of having SJ13 and Scott Chandler he had AJ Green and Jermaine Gresham. In the process sorta underwhelming. I love the Bengals defense though and wouldn't mind if Zimmer where to get some interest for the job

umm not even Close. Ryan Fitzpatrick is 6'2 214 with no arm to put into throws, decent on short passes horribly eratic He's mobile Landry Jones is 6'4 220 pocket passer who's not gonna extend plays with his legs but whos accuracy has improved every year. The only way they're similar is Jones is a very smart guy who knows the spread offense.
-
Landry Jones= Matt Schaub. He's never going to be mistaken for a mobile guy but he can move in the pocket and make all the throws with accuracy, best served to short-mid level passing game though but has the arm to keep it respectable

feel good video: all of the '12 Bills' TDs
Stealth replied to TallskiWallski83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. Brad Smith because of his size you don't expect it. He's very fast. He should be used more. I'd like to see him get more time at wr. If he could be properly coached up with his speed and size he could be an absolute weapon. At the very least should be used more in the Wildcat in short yardage goaline situations. 2. Chandler is a good player no doubt but I'd still like to see the Bills get more of a speed guy the likes of Aaron Hernandez to pair with him. I'm of the camp this team really missed David Nelson this year it took a lot away from the overall efficiency of the offense. Especially inside the redzone 3. McKelvin should be re-signed he's earned it from a special teams perspective. -
Why does Cleveland and Kansas City have more talent?
Stealth replied to seq004's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm just not seeing all this "Great talent" in KC. Dwayne Bowe who probably won't even be with the Chiefs next season. You have a couple good defensive pieces but overall it's not a team you go "Yeah put a qb there and they go from 2-14 to 11-5. I'll give the chiefs this. They have some defensive potential with guys like Johnson//Hali/Houston/Flowers. Although I think Derrick Johnson tends to get overrated a lot but this sudden idea that the Chiefs are loaded with talent not seeing it. As far as the Browns go I don't watch them much but when I did Richardson seemed to be more hype than substance. Really like Haden and D'qwell Jackson -
kolbs injury created the qb mess in arizona, Despite their anemic offense their defense was pretty damn good and Horton's defense kicked Tom Brady's ass. I'm on the Horton bandwagon a guy who learned under Dick Lebeau had the 12th ranked defense in zona, and is not afraid of the patriots plus willing to delegate to coordinators sign me up
