Or the Bills can do the smart thing and play it as whoever gets better into the flow of the game plays more..... Ya know use em both I know novel concept

I would expect a top 10 draft pick to want to be a starter. I'd be far more concerned if he had said "I like the role I'm playing on the team, and I don't expect anything extra. I don't wanna push myself. My place on the bench is comfy" Fred Jackson is a great talent, and again this team should be built around fred and cj not fitz throwing 35-40 times a game to scrub wide outs.

Interesting read about players vs.fans
Stealth replied to Guffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of course they treat it like it's a job...cause it is. They're invested in their job and to have a career that undoubtedly shortens your life, as well as makes it incredibly physically difficult as you age you want to be, and should be well compensated for that. We'd all have that same attitude if the roles were reversed. That's never anything to hold against players. -
smh people act like the regular season doesn't even matter anymore and all that determines individual success is championships. Peyton individually is one of the best qb's to ever play the game. Eli has proven himself undoubtedly to be a top tier qb, This also does not negate the success that Peyton has had. Ya know a 4 time NFL MVP. If you can really say you'd rather have Eli than Peyton I dunno what to tell you. Now if you said "I'd rather have the giants team over the colts" well that's a no brainer.

When I was a kid I was an Eagles fan. Than I became a Bills fan still as a kid in the early 90's sb years. The way I look at it is pretty much a wash. The giants I would say are a neutral choice for your kids. Better than them being Jet's fans. The one thing that bothers me about giants fans is that a good percentage of them became Patriot fans due to Parcells/Belichick, than probably switched back and forth over the past few seasons. Other than that at least your kids will have fond sports memories lol

The Jets were interested in Drayton Florence he chose to re-sign with the Bills. The Jets were interested in re-signing Brad Smith (albeit not for the money the Bills gave him) Pat Williams wanted to re-sign with the Bills the Bills let him walk. Jabari Greer still talks glowingly about Buffalo we should've re-signed him over Terrance Mcgee.

No to Wes Welker but if we could get someone like James Jones to be the deepthreat that The Bills thought Donald Jones could be I'm all in on that. As well as re-signing Steve Johnson

Either that or the overall quality of the Pats as a team hasn't been as good. Save their 2007 16-0 regular season they do not have the same kind of defense they had with Richard Seymour/Vrabel/Bruschi/Asante Samuel/Harrison. Hell if I wasn't a Bills fans I'd be re missed if I knew wtf the patriots lb's were and anyone on their front 7 in general outside of Vince Wilfork. Their corners are awful. Their safeties are not much better. Tom Brady has gotten older and has suffered more injuries. With age and injuries comes a bit of a breakdown in physical skills. He's been more prone the past few season's than during their heyday to being inaccurate with ball placement, he's a bit more skittish in the pocket, and not to even mention the overall quality of their wr's outside of wes welker is quite subpar. They got by on gronkowski/hernandez/welker. Spreading the field to allow their craptastic running backs to show some semblance of a running game. No question about it that team overall was better offensively when they had the like of Corey Dillon and Sammy Morris and a healthy Kevin Faulk over Green Ellis and Woodhead. It's great to use spygate to point out "why the pats haven't won" as a fan, but realistically from a football sense is that the pats today are not better than the early 2000 teams

Brady is "one of the best ever" but "Best ever no question" hardly the case. It could be argued in this era Roethlisberger and Eli are both better. Steelers have been to 3 of the past 5 superbowls and Eli has beaten Brady twice in the Superbowl
-
This reminds me of all the times Tom Brady and the pats offense methodically owned Perry Fewells defense when he was here. Despite better pass rush talent, the pats are dictating with their short passing game. I'd almost apologize to Giants fans but SB 25 will forever haunt me

I.C.E. sting nets millions in counterfeit NFL gear
Stealth replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well maybe I wouldn't spend $40 on knockoff NFL "authentic jersey's" when the NFL stops charging $300 -
In other news.... water is still wet. And yeah Dareus is the type of player you build a defense around

Willis McGahee: I know many here hate him...
Stealth replied to Buftex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wish I could find the interview online but my favorite Mcgahee moment was an interview on NFLN with him Edge James and Clinton Portis. Rich Eisen was talking to them during pro bowl week back when Mcgahee was playing for the Bills. They were all high as !@#$. -
Other than the interior of our dline being good. Both Dareus/Williams should excell in a 4-3 defense. We still need dends and a we still need olb's.

Which losing Super Bowl team did you want to win?
Stealth replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rams to beat the Pats Eagles to beat the Pats Panthers to beat the Pats That's all I can recall from recent memory -
Most coaches need talent to succeed at any level. Good coaches get production out of mediocre talent. Good coaches can get good talent who's under performing under prior regimes to play up to their talent level. Yes the giants have exceptionally good dline talent. Fewell has put them in positions to make plays. He's taking advantage of the talent he has. Oh yeah the giants are in the superbowl with Kevin Gilbride and Perry Fewell as assistant coaches. Talent and coaching it's a funny mix

Of course this is a dream but it's a nice one to have.

Buffalo Bills Courting LB Courtney Upshaw and WR Marquis Maze
Stealth replied to Sniper's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah god forbid we do something crazy like draft good players who can play in multiple schemes. Who needs that?!? Bring on the rb's and corners -
Buffalo Bills Courting LB Courtney Upshaw and WR Marquis Maze
Stealth replied to Sniper's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Upshaw would be a tremendous pick. played the hybrid lb/de role for the tide probably a top 10ish pick -
Its quite obvious the strengths of our team is not having fitz throw it 35-40 times a game with 1 quality receiver. The strength of the offense was Fred Jackson, until Fred Jackson got hurt. After that the strength of the offense was CJ Spiller. Next year the focus of the offense should be on Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller with additional weapons added at wr

The biggest differences.- Eli Manning Hakeem Nicks/Mario Manningham compared to Ryan Fitzpatrick/Whoever the bills #2 and #3 receiver are on any given week
