  2. Agreed. I still think given the opportunity to be a starter Bush could be a 12-1300 yard 8-10 back. He's also dating back to his days at Louisville a pretty good receiving back. If we didn't have Freddy thats a guy I would not mind having. I also thought he'd make sense for the Giants who cut Jacobs, and being that Bradshaw is an injury risk.
  3. Ehh the Patriots will find some other no name complete non factor rb to pile up a couple hundred yards to replace him.
  4. Mark Anderson was their best pass rusher, and suffice to say he'll be playing next to superior dline talent in Buffalo. He'll very rarely see double teams as he's not the main guy teams will be concerned about. So he'll really have to do is win his 1 on 1 battles
  5. The nfl.com article was funny. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d827bbcb1/article/angry-mob-of-dolphins-fans-stage-organized-protest?module=HP11_headline_stack
  6. glad to hear it Bryan Scott is a good all around player fills that hybrid lb/safety role well
  7. Bills fans are not used to the concept of stacking talent. It's a foreign concept That hopefully will be righted in the coming years. People Our defensive coordinator made it clear he wants to mold this defense after The Giants. We're not cutting defensive ends just cause we may sign someone. Get used to having talented players on top of good players. This is a great thing enjoy it
  8. Why is a thread about Ocho Crapo above this...bump
  9. Do they serve venison at Tempo? If not there better be some deer chillin by the car when they leave
  10. Indeed getting The Stache in here may go down as the move that turned the Bills around for the better. Here's to hoping that's the case
  11. Will you people stop with this. Carrington is going nowhere. It doesn't kill any potential. The Bills potentially signing Mark Anderson would just mean that our depth gets better. I said in another thread Carrington's role could be similar to that of the Giants Chris Canty. A swing de/dt who can add good depth and rack up a few sacks. The more pass rushers we stack the deeper we can roll out lines. This is a good thing and it's about damn time
  12. I assume Dwan Edwards is the odd man out. Played I believe his entire career in a 3-4 defense. While I think he's a good player he would seem to be the guy that gets the axe. As far as Mark Anderson goes saw a bit of his career here and there with Chicago and than last year with NE. Hard to have any real opinion on him, but he seems like he would be a good fit, and it never hurts to add an experienced pass rusher to your team. At the very least glad to see the Bills brass still sees dend as a position that we should continue to look to get better at.
  13. for the record we did host Mark Anderson http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Bills-host-free-agent-DE-Anderson/309c6194-5c95-4fd6-ae16-2ff2adca6e01
  14. Or the fact that in football you win with pass rushers and the more you have the better chance you have to win.
  15. Agreed. David Nelson is a quality #3 wr. A good slot wr, Has gotten progressively better each of his 1st 2 seasons. Hopefully he gets extended
  16. Look around the league. Most good defensive lines are built with top end picks. Most good offensive lines are built with mid-lat-free agent offensive lineman.
  17. It amuses me when people say Steve Johsnon isn't a #1 wr yet Brandon lloyd is? only 1 1000 yard season in his 10 year career. Only once did he reach 10+ tds and never had a season with over 80 catches. Brandon Lloyd is not that good pass
  18. In the short run they should get carries based on who's having the stronger game as the game progresses. In the long run Spiller should be the guy with Fred backing him up until he retires/no longer effective
