  1. Bill Belichick lol Parcells before he retired brought the patriots to a superbowl, the jets/cowboys to respectability. Pete Caroll brought the sehawks to the playoffs, and has them rolling. I'm sure there's a couple I'm missing but the point being there's no sure fire way to find/not find a coach
  2. the assortment of other receivers just aren't very good. The Nelson loss was the worst thing that could happen to the passing game outside of losing SJ13. I don't wanna ring the hype machine but really is Easley just not ready to contribute. I can't imagine he'd be any less productive then the rest of the wrs on this team
  3. I think we forget that Merriman is only 28 years old not in his mid 30's. If he has anything to contribute on the field in addition to the benefit of him being a vocal leader type. This will only end well. I was excited for the prospect of seeing him in pass rush situations before this season began. :This team needs a vocal leader, anything else will just be gravy
  4. and oddly enough McCoy is the eagles best offensive player. He did the same thing with Brian Westbrook. oddly enough the one year they made the superbowl they had a top 3 running game, The Eagles have had some tremendous teams, and probably should've made more then one sb and at least won one. Andy Reid held that team back a lot
  5. Stats wise he still gets it done, but to me it's just not the same Peyton that made so/so Indy teams into superbowl contenders. I'm not saying he's not still a top 10 qb but I wouldn't put him in the top 5 anymore
  6. Do you guys who want Andy Reid hate CJ Spiller as well? He'd never get the touches he should under Reid. Reid is more allergic to the running game than Gailey. Horrible at clock management and adjustments. Outside of having Jim Johnson build the eagles defense for awhile knows nothing about defense. No No No and no
  7. Peyton Manning is done as a top qb in this league he has looked every bit his age and not just today. A sure fire hall of fame career, but this is what it looks like when a great reaches the end of the line
  8. I don't fully Disagree. Bledsoe was by no means a HOF, but I'd take Bledsoe over any of the crap we've had since Kelly
  9. Bledsoe was the best qb we've had since Kelly of course it can get worse
  10. Might as well bench everyone since playing against the Bills d is basically like watching offensive drills in practice
  11. Through all the gm changes, coaching changes, player personell etc etc. Only one man has been the constant. Keep thinking "it's just the coaches" That's nice Ralph "kept the team in Buffalo" but being scared into not holding him accountable well that's not something any fan should be backed into. Save a decade he's been a pretty horrible owner.
  12. Losing 2 players does not turn your roster into the UFL. As far as the Jets runningbacks go. No they haven't been as good as they where when they had alan faneca playing guard for them and thomas jones. Not adequately replacing Thomas Jones has been the jets biggest downfall with their running game,. Yeah it's gonna hurt when you lose your #1 wr, and you don't really have a #2. For comparison sake I can only imagine how Stevie Johnson feels having no #2=#5 wr playing for the Bills. 2 players don't really make or break a team as good as Revis is. Don't forget Kyle Wilson was a #1 pick and has shown to be a more than adequate corner in limited playing time. The Jets can be exploited with their safeties, but on the edge they're still pretty solid. The biggest downfall of their defense is without pohua and a healthy Bart Scott their run defense struggles. I also don't dispute the Jets are a bad offensive team but they've gotten more then by being adequate. They're never gonna be a great offensive team. My only point is they're not a UFL roster and quite a bit better then a good pct of NFL teams
  13. Sorry there's 11 players on defense. It was pretty much a unanimous point when Revis was healthy Jets had one of the better defenses in the league. Cromartie is no slouch at corner. I think it's also a pretty universal opinion that Mangold, Ferguson are pretty good cogs in a wheel of an offensive line. Say what you want about Sanchez, but he's been to 2 AFC championships. Oh boo hoo for the Jets they have horrible wr's. So do the Bills you play with whos out there. So now people wanna sit around and say that a team that was routinely competing under Ryan and with Sanchez at qb is "Awful" give me a break. That team is pretty much the same team that's been the closest to knocking off NE sans Santonio Holmes and a rt. I also don't question their defensive effort. They where very effective in limiting Houston to fg's. They did this with a NFL roster. You know the same NFL roster that's 2-0 in the AFC EAST.
  14. A lot like I said about Aaron Williams but in a different token cause Gilmore is a natural corner. The safeties are giving the corners no help and leaving williams and gilmore out to dry. No pass rush, no lb's, lost safeties and young corners and you're gonna get what we've seen pretty bad play all around.
  15. UFL Roster?!? Ferguson,Mangold, Sanchez- all 1st rd picks on offense. Coples,Wilkerson,Bryan Thomas, Maybin,Calvin Pace, Landry, Cromartie,Kyle Wilson,- all 1st rd picks on defense The Jets hardly have a UFL roster. Do they have some problems at rt and guard sure. Do they have awful wr's yes.... I wouldn't go around making excuses for the Jets though. Now you wanna see a UFL roster check out where the Bills skill players where drafted lol.
  16. I guess some of us are watching a different game. The Jets have pretty much been beaten up and down the field by Foster. They've played well in the redzone on defense, but really this game has not been competative or as close as the score suggests. Infact I'd say the Jets got ground and pounded The Jets like to run the ball but they're quite horrible at it
  17. I've said it before. Aaron Williams is a safety playing cornerback. Unfortunately there's no one on the roster to replace him and he's not getting much in the way of help. As bad as people are saying he is George Wilson and Jairus Byrd have been awful. I don't know how much man to man with no safety help stache's defense calls for but the safeties seem to be leaving the corners out to dry on a good number of plays. Also slow to react and seem lost in coverage.
  18. I think what the OP was trying to say is that why force a square peg into a round hole. Fred right now is not an effective back. CJ has shown that the more touches he gets the more effective of a runningback he is. Right now he's our biggest weapon on offense and should be getting the majority of carries. Let Fred get short yardage.goalline carries and to close out games assuming we're in position to do so. Outside of that CJ should be the #1 back.
  19. Fred Jackson is obviously still injured..... but you should know better. Whether they go weeks without playing good or not Fred Jackson and Kyle Williams are off limits as far as criticism
  20. Fitz sucks we all get it,but it's not like up until yesterday the bills where averaging 29pts a game or anything like that..................oh wait Time to realize that football isn't a one person game. The entire team not just 1 guy sucks.
  21. This team will never win until we have a new owner
  22. Wash rinse repeat The Status quo continues. The real problem goes above that, but I digress cause of Age discrimination and being "thankful to even have a team"
  23. This whole team sucks. No qb, no wrs, no defense no coaches
