  1. About as much as the NFL should be fooled that Ralph Wilson is in the Hall of Fame
  2. Honestly that's a good question. As a starter I'd say no. He can be an excellent backup/spot starter he's proved it in Carolina and now in Miami, but we still need to make a play at drafting a "Franchise" qb
  3. My overall caring has declined steadily over the last few years. I'm at the point now I realize the gm changes the coaching changes, player personnel none of it matters. Until the Bills have new ownership they'll be perennial losers. I'll still root for them on game day, but it is what it is.
  4. Well no the Jets are just a pretty crappy team, and no the giants are blowing this game. Needless to say I wouldn't mind making a run at Rob Ryan in the offseason
  5. shhh stop being logical and let the lynching continue
  6. clear out my basement of anything that is valuable so when the inevitable flooding happens none of it will be ruined. that and more space to sweep water towards the sump pump
  7. of course not. Kinda makes one laugh though when you consider that both Kevin Gilrbide and Fewell are on that coaching staff. Wade Phillips in Houston. It's not that the Bills haven't had good coaches it's everything above that has been awful
  8. Once you realize that the Bills will never compete under the ownership of Ralph Wilson again the losing becomes easier to deal with. Just start looking forward to new ownership
  9. The Giants have a great owner the Bills do not. The Giants have a great gm the Bills do not. The Giants have a great coaching staff. The Bills do not. Because of the giants front office and coaches their players perform up to and beyond expectations. The Bills...do not. However like anything else it starts at the top.
  10. As sports fans I think you identify a team with a certain city/region. You become accustomed to it. Even when certain teams like the Bills are perpetually bad you still sense the pride people have in their team. Despite the mockery they may face for it. They live and breath with that team. Ripping away from that is akin to losing a family member. I wouldn't support the Bills if they where to move outside of the WNY region and this being again said as someone who has no ties to that area. It just wouldn't feel right.
  11. Not from Buffalo but been a bills fan all my life growing up in New Jersey. Over the years I've gone to a few Bills game and up until recently try to make 2-3 games a year on a 6+ hour drive. Football is pretty much my life when it comes to sports, which makes it all the more depressing. I'm still going to at least one game this year, but at some point regardless of where one lives. Whether it's in WNY or wherever. as Bills fans we should start demanding more than "just being happy we have a team". It's in the long term best interest for Ralph to sell the team if they're ever actually serious about winning.
  12. My favorite kind of 4-3 defense is the type Jim Johnson ran in Philly. Agressive zone blitz heavy defense but also predicated on elite penetrating front 4 (which would fit Dareus's and Kyle Williams abilities perfectally) primarily blitzing lb's and safeties and zone cover corners
  13. Because that's been the Bills modus operandii for years. See Winfield,Clements, Pat Williams, Henry,Mcghaee,Lynch, Donte Whitner, Price. Jabari Greer, Poz. Jason Peters, Bell Not to mention the free agents we've brought in who still had productive years left who we never attempted to re-sign Fletcher, Sam Adams, Ted Washington etc etc. Instead of keeping some of the players we should've kept and strengthining other areas of the team. We let them go and reach to fill holes. How long have we've been suffering from the Loss of Pat Williams for. Our corners are still subpar. Donte Whitner only starts for one of the best defenses in the league. How much better would the Bills as a team have been if we kept some of these guys and used draft picks to improve other spots such as you know quarterback? I'm not saying we should've kept all of them but 2-3 of those players and picks used to upgrade elsewhere we're probably not discussing yet another year of no playoffs.
  14. In typical Bills fashion they'll let good players they drafted go and use draft picks to replace them, instead of keeping players and using draft picks to build other areas. STATUS QUO
  15. Our defense has been bad since 2005 , The team has been bad since 2000. The Owner's been bad forever save Bill Polian years
  16. which would continue in the mold of coaches the Bills have had since Wade.
  17. Starting qb who shouldn't be starting-check. Backups who suck- check... Already traded for a qb who isn't a good qb but fans will pine for because "hey you dont know"-check...Buddy needs to get this done. let the circus commence
  18. +3 years for when we have another new regime change. Nothing changes until we get a new owner
  19. http://wac.450f.edgecastcdn.net/80450F/961joyfm.com/files/2012/08/rw.jpg An organization that does not inspire winning is the fault of the Owner on down. That is not a man that inspires winning. If not for Polian would damn near be recognized as the worst owner in the NFL
  20. I think I understand what he's saying to a point combing through Gailey's words he's not defensive minded at all and prefers to have that left up completely to someone else. Not to the point where anyone has autonomy but the more Gailey can stay out of that the more comfortable he is with that. Gailey just another in the long line of better coordinator than head coach
  21. someone else's trash is another team's fans treasure. See- Tarvaris Jackson, Thigpen. Hell there was a time where people wanted Kelly Holcomb to start until he actually did. Until we have a qb worth discussing meh
  22. 1. New owner 2. New front office 3. New scouts 4. Good coaching staff from head coach to coordinators to positional coaches The rest will fall into place and is a product of the above
