Doug Whaley and Russ know about TBD

how has no one responded to this post, hahaha perfect -
didnt you know Richie bullied everyone in Miami, thats probably why Clay is hesitant to sign but for realz, Its pro sports, 90 percent about the money, 10 percent about playing where you want/with who you want (at least on first big contracts...after a player gets paid they are more willing to "take less for the right situation"... now if that difference is an average of 7 million here, and 8 million average in Cleveland...would seem like a no brainer for Clay to bring his talents to Orchard Park

Channel 4 dropping sports from their newscasts
PaattMaann replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
channel 4? that bum squad? why would you watch anything other than channel 2 (obviously just for fat Kevin O'Connell or whatever that pudgy bastard weathermans name is) -
I have been anti-clay on here for the past few days, and quite vocal about it (to the point of annoying others im sure) with that said, im kind of coming around on him....my biggest points were that, as stated by the OP (although I have watched him quite a bit - Clay, not the OP, thats creepy), he does not overwhelm with size, speed or stats...but he really does seem to do a lot of things very well, and im starting to think could do things even better in a better offense The biggest draw, and why im starting to change my view on signing on him, is what he brings to our potential offense. When he is on the field we can be more successful at hiding what we want to do in both the run and the pass game, he can move from the backfield to the line and vice versa, he can hit the flats, go routes, stay in pass pro and then even slide underneath, screen passes, as well as be a traditional TE....basically, he can bring an element that we have not had as an offense in a long time AND a weapon that Roman has proven he can effectively succeed with I kind of think I want him now?
-
he can grumble all he wants (even though I dont think he will, hes been paid his money up front), we own him until after 2019, and I dont expect them to redo the contract 2-3 years from now....so yes, we did really save money

Fred Jackson cut??(UPDATE: Pegula says Hell To The No)
PaattMaann replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
again, for THIS instance, its a smart move...this is a once in a lifetime type instance (for this coach/franchise in this exact time and place) and keeping Fred does nothing to stop the coaches/gm from what they want for the season Freds little 3 million will not stop us from pursuing any FA at any positions it simply keeps a good thing going for the business -

its all about timing....and its a great decision to keep fred RIGHT NOW this is Pegulas first offseason, and they are making waves (intelligent waves) The fans are excited, why ruin that by letting go probably the most fan favorite player in the past 10 years? This is not necessarily indicative of a meddling owner who should leave football to the football people....its a businessman realizing when to keep a good thing going as its best for the business -

when your coach is a moron, yes, he routinely stashed better players on the bench for unknown reasons -

If we shut down zemgus and Ennis Is out for any period of time, we can pretty much lock up last place....so, let's shut them both down!!! There goes any offense -
haha soooo true....we did figure it out.... i would have liked maybe delving into the wolves or the torsos thing too....how can you show them see the torsos and not make any comment at all?
-
oh I understand completely what they were setting up....but its typical walking dead fashion of setting it up by using an entire episode to do so...its been my beef (and many other peoples as well) with the show since day 1 and I keep hoping they figure it out but at least there was very minimal rick in this episode so thats a plus, no crazy yelling of "KORLLLLLLLL" repeatedly
-
Boy did that episode suckkkkkk - typical walking dead dragging out a 10 minute scene (finding the new place and a whiney and worthless character getting killed) to an entire episode Two episodes of Better Call Saul already better than the entire catalogue of Walking Dead * sorry for the negativity, but I just keep tuning in hoping it will get better, and rarely does it (over the total life of the show there's been maybe 5 solid eps) so I just needed to vent

Soda!?!?!? Get a real addiction you pu$$y!!! No seriously though - good luck And for the record, to those bashing caffeine - many recent studies have shown positive effects of caffeine (in the form of black coffee) on reducing risks of cancers and some heart related ailments....6 cups of joe a day keeps the rectal/colon/prostate cancer away! Black coffee is damn good for you - but you fufu's go drink your carbonated water and your "tea"....I won't see you when I'm 124 years old, because you will be dead

golf fans -- is Tiger Woods done?
PaattMaann replied to truth on hold's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Not only does the guy/did the guy have a very violent swing that isn't good for longevity - but while he was going out and banging whores for years, he was also doing INTENSE training with navy seals, which also is NOT good for physical longevity woods even considered quitting golf (while he was dominating the game) and trying to become a navy seal, hank Haney talked him out of quitting golf and joining up....and his ACL tear was a result of skydiving while training with seals Anyone who plays golf knows the game is more mental than any other sport, and tiger is arguably the most intense mental mind in the game...and that mental game works both ways. When your playing lights out, your unbeatable, and that feeds your positive mentality and perpetuates the good play. Right now, along with the physical issues woods is having (or playing up to a certain degree), his intense mentality is certainly negative and that is exacerbating his poor play. Bad shots spiral out of control on him and ruin rounds (82). Not having a consistent, comfortable swing only adds on to it. So yes, I think Tiger is most likely done. Will he win some more tourneys? I would think so. Will he win any more majors? I'd be surprised (and I hope like hell I am surprised because golf is even more enjoyable when tiger is in the hunt) -
roman relies on his TE's? Is that why an extremely talented Vernon Davis was under utilized and wasted in San Fran for the most part (sans 13 TDs in 2013, but still only caught 50 balls, red zone target)? One of the big knocks on roman this past year in San Fran was why he was not using his talented tight end more.... a TE is now even more than ever a luxury with this offense....that said, I do think we will improve the position, but whoever we bring in wont light the world on fire in this offense
