Well, and the fact that it looks like we actually brought in GOOD players for the line, whereas they brought in...remains to be seen. Both lines were pretty bad last year, but ours was likely one of the worst ever. Seriously.

cool, im glad you liked what you saw from Milano. I too like what I see from him, but for anyone to call him the leader of this LB unit must mean that person smokes a lot of crack

what has Milano proven exactly? He has had less than a full year as a starter, has shown flashes of being productive...but he hasnt proven anything yet. All of our LB corp is unproven (lorax I guess has had a few good years of production but he isnt even being mentioned in here for obvious reasons). Edmunds is the captain and leader of the defense, everything runs through him. Milano being a year older than Edmunds is not even close to an argument that "Milano is the leader" of this unit lol

I think the defense SHOULD finish in the top 5, easily the top 10. Historically good? I dont know. Injuries always happen, lets hope not to anyone vital. Need the offense to consistently move the ball and score points, that helps the D. I think you are expecting a lot from Trent Murphy, show me the baby. I think the D will be very good...historically good? IF that happens that is icing on the cake.

nah, would rather have my dog than my house, insurance gets me a new house. why would public shootings make me more upset than losing my dog? I would be upset every day if I got upset over those. have had my dog on the loose before and its one of the worst feelings ive ever felt. so yea, its terrible. but you keep coming round and banging your drum for the literal things that are worse than losing a dog. I can think of two; losing a child or finding out your terminally ill, other than that, losing a dog is right there (unless your not a dog owner, in which case, leave the thread). obviously he was speaking in hyperbole, but for us dog owners, there truly arent many worst feelings than that.

I think I am in the camp that I just want to see game to game progression this season, like we saw towards the end of last season. If I am talking about his numbers as far as my expectations go...I would guess its around 3,800 yards, 26 passing TDs, another 3-5 on the ground, and 12ish INTs.. Again, this year is all about the continued progression from Josh, the wins will come with that. Love this kid, he has made me a firm believer.

I mean maybe thats when SI and other national publications came onto James, but his high school prep team had to play home games at U of Akron arena because of ticket demands to see him play as a freshman, so he was indeed a prodigy, maybe not at 12 lol, but who is?

I think its a good place to start. I'd prefer Derek Anderson not to make the team and another WR who shows promise. 4 TEs seem like a lot too....would have to see a lot out of Croom/Fisher for them to both make it.

betting the over/under wins in vegas isnt my thing because its just not worth it....put $500 down and only double your money? I could put $500 in stock/investment right now and do better by January than by betting that on the Bills. But yes, I am certainly taking the over on that win total...its laughable really.

Used to be HANDS DOWN Kentucky Gregs....unfortunately he has since closed down. Fat Bobs used to be really good like 10 years ago, then the husband and wife divorced and the business went downhill...I know people still really like it and I have no idea why (dry, sides are bland). BW's is OK. I would say drive out to Lockport and go to One Eyed Jacks or if you dont wanna make the drive, just go to Dinosaur (its a "chain" but a local chain).

Again, which recent #1 WR has taken his team on his back and brought them championships? Thats not todays NFL. Even last years WR room would have found more success if our QB wasn't constantly under pressure and running for his life. Adding a bonafide downfield threat (I dont know how you can disagree with Brown being this...just check what he was doing last year with Flacco lol) and an underneath WR in Beasley was a pretty big win in upgrading the WR room. Biggest thing we did to help QB and WR was actually bring in some competent linemen.

yea...hate on the bills for deciding NOT to trade up for a guy who plummeted in the draft. You must just really love pics of shirtless, muscular men. As pointed out a couple posts ago, Beane added a lot of weapons to the WR room over the offseason and draft...were you asleep? Check out the "true #1 WR's" in the NFL and where their teams have been finishing. You do NOT need a true number 1 WR to win in this league.

home opener date sucks for me....same weekend as Borderland fest in East Aurora, so now do I buy weekend pass for the fest and just miss the afternoon shows and go back for the sunday night shows (in no condition really to do so post tailgating/bills game all day) or just buy saturday pass and miss out on sunday night shows? Damn Bills...plus itll probably be snowing by end of September
