Big Blue Wary of Bills Mafia? (NY Daily News)
PaattMaann replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WHAT? it is used ALL THE TIME lol The Bills Mafia was started on social media for good purposes to raise money for people in need. A noble cause. Idiot table smashers use the term as well, and thats what the national media has picked up on. I personally use and identify with Bills Mafia in an attempt to show the positives of the Bills fans and the Buffalo community at large (see Andy Dalton donations). I use it in an attempt to take back the name from the idiot table smashers. Like it or not, the name for this fan base is without a doubt, here to stay. #BILLSMAFIA -
As Micah Hyde said yesterday, it is impossible for this locker room to get too full of themselves because nobody gives them any respect. They know they are up against it every week and will be for a while. I think, for now, this team is immune to "trap games"...we can talk about that again if we go 4-0, then maybe the Titans or Dolphins game after that they could fall into "trap game".

Sean McDermott won't tip hand on Bills' RB situation

Absolutely. However, itll likely look like a 50/30/20 split when you add in Yeldon. Especially Yeldon as pass catching weapon. -

I've got several Bills fans friends heading down for this weekend. I expect it to be much the same as last weekend. -
Zay Jones blocking ability - I’m impressed

lighten up Francis, I chuckled heartily at that guys post. -
I dont know if you watched the game, I did. There was maybe 1 "downfield pass", I truly didnt think he had the ability to push the ball downfield last year even. As far as 300 yards passing, lol, its def. easier to throw against a prevent defense when the game is over. Eli Manning does not scare me Sunday.

Week Two Power Ranking Rundown
PaattMaann replied to delectrolux's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
they would actually have to watch the game to open their eyes....like you said, purely box score reading... -
Eli isn't even pushing the ball down the field to Engram, almost all of his passes were within a couple yards of the LOS. It's actually kind of embarrassing for Eli.
-
if he plays like he did in week one, all season, then we better give him a 5 year extension!
-
oh 100% dude!!! Agreed. Make them throw to beat you, stack 9 in the box. Eli physically doesnt have the arm strength to beat us deep (even IF his threadbare WR group COULD beat Tre/Wallace in single coverage). Get after Barkley and Eli in the backfield...period.

I don't think they are forcing him, I think they are rotating him at RT to get him experience and PT that he has earned. It is still a battle between Ford and Ty and thats OK, thats good! Let Ford get game reps. If you think this staff would play Ford just because he was drafted high then you don't get this coaching staff (all due respect). Four spots are absolutely locked down, and they are bringing along Ford slowly. If after three/four weeks its obvious that Ty is clearly better, than I Bet thats who we see as the starting RT moving forward. Feliciano and Spain are ABSOLUTE UNITS! Damn I love seeing them punish people in the middle.

They signed a new starting RG and RT, and their Center returns from injury. Not saying they have a GOOD line, but they def. attempted to fix it. Now they are banged up on the line after sunday, and could likely be missing their current #1 WR to concussion....so yea, we are in good shape but you still gotta play on Sundays

yea I read it before the Jets game, can't remember where (it was reputable)....pretty weird though right?

Watching the Giants get decimated
PaattMaann replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They were a major weakness for their team last year. They added a new RG and RT and their center missed last year and hes back...overall it isnt a strength of their team and from what I saw yesterday, the Cowboys d-line seemed to handle them. I don't think Sunday should be any different from yesterday from that stand point. We should handle the line and get pressure on Tin Man. -
Rational Thoughts The Day After (Jets)
PaattMaann replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im not interested in the percentage, I can remember at least 3 third and long situations that we let them off the hook, you cannot do that and win against good teams -
O-line concerns alleviated...

Ok cool! good to know, I didnt hear him say that. Thought he got flat out benched, but its nice to know he wasnt benched. -

It'll be interesting to see what they do with Ford moving forward. He might actually be riding the pine (not the worst thing in the world right now). Ford started at RT, but didn't have the best couple of series and he was benched for Ty, then they started rotating series. But Ty got the entire 4th quarter I think. Feliciano is a stud, he needs to start at RG, period. Dawkins, Spain, Morse and Feliciano look to be pretty set, and played pretty damn good against a great d-line in week 1. Ford/Ty will be interesting to see how it shakes out. -
weirdly enough....the Jets and Giants use two different visitors locker rooms, so the Bills actually WON'T be in the same visitors locker room. I have no explanation as to why.
-
we had more than a handful of chunk plays and I bet we get more than that on most game days...we have the makings of an explosive offense.

Bills (1-0) at Jets (0-1) Postgame thread
PaattMaann replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We moved the ball at will against the Jets for much of the game. Shot ourselves in the foot with turnovers, some were unlucky for sure. We punted twice all game. We had sustained drives of 7 plays for 37 yards, 9 plays for 40 yards, 9 plays for 8 yards, 9 plays for 50 yards, 8 plays for 85 yards and 8 plays for 80 yards....pretty impressive against what will end up being a pretty good defense, in week 1. I was happy with that. Score of this game should have been a blow out. But turnovers are a part of the game and we lost that battle, regardless of unluckiness of some. Third and long defense sucked for much of the game, the only real negative from that unit. Can't let teams off the hook when you get them where you want them.
