Boy I would love to see our DE's against the third string LT
-
And that was a RB i think lol

You are indeed not wrong, I thought both sophomore and junior seasons ended with injury. I was wrong.
-
Had season ending injuries in his sophomore and junior seasons. Didn't play much as a redshirt freshman. Didn't do much his senior year, Calvin Ridley caught all of the Alabama passes that season.

I Can't Wait 'Til The Home Opener!!!!!

Sunday is going to be special. The house is going to be ROCKIN! There is nothing like the return of Bills football. When we win on Sunday though...the following Sunday is going to be MAYHEM with the 3-0 Patriots coming to town to face off against our 3-0 Bills for the early season division lead. The place might literally crumble down. -
I am HIGH on Smoke Brown. I think he really is a #1, and thought that going into two offseasons ago when he signed with the Ravens. Now with that said, I completely agree, adding another #1 WR via the draft of FA or trade...imagine having "Mystery #1", Smoke as the other outside WR, and Beasley in the slot...thats some weapons in the passing game.

I think we have been saving some things for sure. Not just for week 4, but overall I don't think we want to unveil the total plans for the offense. I think the offense is truly going to change week to week, depending on opponents, ya know...like good offenses do. Agreed about play action, as well as screen plays. RB draws too. Like the pass rushers preach in all of their interviews, its a long game and you might work for three quarters setting up the inside move by using the outside move, and then BAM, fourth quarter you hit him with the inside move. I think its a total team philosophy as well, One quarter of the season you might not see some offensive sets/plays at all, and then all of the sudden the offense is doing different things. Just my take of course.

Not defending Foster, but the reason he didn't play much at Bama was injuries.
-
I didnt see that. I wasnt a fan of the signing because I personally never saw anything that showed he could be a TE 1 (to be fair I could say the same about Feliciano at guard but obviously i was wrong about that). And he appears to be fragile.....good thing we have a couple other options at TE, including the blocking sensation Lee smith lol
-
Truly the only signing I was not a fan of....he may never see the field either lol

jeans are never acceptable

All four of our DTs are starters because of the rotation.
-
Not to mention he has ripped off some good chunk runs this season. We don't NEED 20+ yard runs, they are amazing when they happen, but we need our run game to move the sticks or create 2nd/3rd and short. Missing Devin this game will hurt, but we can manage...IF it comes to that.

I'd try it if I ate during the game, I'm not poor

Buffalo Bills to fans on game day: Behave or be gone
PaattMaann replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
oh yea ive been seeing that at different venues for years now. Usually to prevent the use (and breaking/smashing) of glass bottles. It's really quite simple to pour into a solo cup. I do this anyway because I drink a lot of homebrew and craft beers. -

Why don't you people use solo cups? -
No, not at all. I thought thats what you were getting at with saying we need to see that. I think he is more than capable and has been showing it for weeks now (dating back to last season). I don't personally need to see him throw for a certain number of yards to see that we have a true NFL passing attack finally. We certainly do.
-
I would say we played a really solid defense in week 1 and JA threw for over 250 yards. Many of those passes were downfield/vertical. We saw many downfield/vertical passes last week. What you are calling a short passing game, I would argue is just called "a passing game". JA has been taking what the defense gives him, but also pushing the ball downfield. If you don't think he has pushing the ball down field, I don't know what to tell you.
-
out of curiosity, what would you consider daboll "opening things up" lol...id say things have looked pretty friggin open personally.
-
Hasn't shown it yet this year. A lot of factors go into productive RBs, and it isnt clicking for the Bengals right now. D-line is decent, so have the two we have already played and beat. Better offense for sure than we have played, but we have a real good D, and being at home will be a nightmare for the Bengals. As we all know, nothing in the NFL is ever a lock....but this game, on paper, to me, looks like a safer bet than the first two.
-
It's going to be tougher than the Giants, but I don't think itll even be as tough as the Jets. Bengals D is average at best and they cannot run the ball....and most importantly, we are at home. 3-0
-
hes been our starter for the first two weeks and we are 2-0....128 yards rushing for the team in week 1, and 151 yards rushing for the team in week 2, good for top 10 in the league in rushing
-
also looked like toast when he was hitting the holes and rushed for 9 hard fought yards a couple times too yesterday

Giants writer has great analysis of Allen first game

partly, but mostly it was Morse setting the blocking schemes, which is freeing Josh up to focus most of his attention on the pre snap looks the defense is giving. Last year Josh had to handle much of the protection calls because we had a wet noodle or two lined up at C. Morse is a stud. This was evident especially on those hurry up series, you saw Morse sprinting down the field ahead of everyone else and setting the line up.
