Bills Mafia article from The Ringer

we ARE all part of Bills Mafia whether you like it or not, sorry to break it to you. It's the name of the fanbase, you can only get out of it by dying or rooting for another team. It is sad that we have some idiots that sully the Bills Mafia name, but that is true of any fan base (like those in Raider Nation that are violent)...but the only way to combat the losers who break tables and light themselves on fire and put their hands down girlfriends pants in the stadium is to do GOOD things in the name of Bills Mafia like we all do daily/weekly/yearly. You can say "thats not me", but you are wrong. -
how is hard to get in? they arent metal, put it in your pocket and walk in through the metal detectors dude.

Patriots WR Julian Edelman (rib) returns to practice
PaattMaann replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A giant friend of mine picked me up in a bear hug and squeezed me when he was wasted on bourbon, I felt a pop in my chest. I think it was just a cartilage issue. It was incredibly painful for two weeks, couldnt even get out of bed without losing my breath. Cannot imagine playing football with ANY type of rib injury. A couple good stern tackles and he will be less likely to enjoy his day. -
I think its not only we arent adjusting, but more importantly, our players are not executing! That is obvious and huge. Penalties, missed throws, missed catches, missed blocks, missed assignments defensively. Those are player execution problems. I don't think we have been outcoached, or went into a shell on either side of the ball....our players just have come out flat. And that IS def. concerning.

I personally don't want Yeldon touching the dang football this week, at all. He is a fumble waiting for happen....and the patriots love causing fumbles. Recipe for disaster.

Josh Allen - Draft night retrospect
PaattMaann replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
lol, no, but I do remember him and I having very similar views on Mahomes and other QBs around that time -
I agree completely, I thought the same thing. WHY THIS TIME do they have to have a dominant D? HOWEVER, I am also thinking this dominant D is so dominant because they haven't played any real competition yet. So we will see on Sunday just how good they are. Yes Billy boy is a defensive wizard, and they have some talent....but they still played the Steelers, Dolphins and Jets, with all of their problems...

Josh Allen - Draft night retrospect
PaattMaann replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't have a post to show it, but I was on the "ANYONE BUT ALLEN" train all draft process. Loved Mayfield and Lamar Jackson. I am 100 percent turned around and LOVE our boy and would choose him over every QB in that draft. I don't think he is anywhere near a finished product, and he could still turn out to be a bust...but as of right now, I am all in on the Allen train and am THRILLED to have been wrong about him. (for the record, I also LOVED Mahomes and thought he would be a stud. I harbor no ill will of this regime - McD - for passing on taking a QB because he felt ill equipped to make that huge decision in that draft, and I love having Tre and the picks it turned into....and Mahomes probably would have failed miserably here...but I did love that kid coming out and still do) -
Maiorana's Report: Realism or Pessimism?
PaattMaann replied to Tolstoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
in the second half of the Bengals game, YES! Which is what Sal is doing here.... I was in the stands and spent the entire 3rd quarter complaining about Edmunds getting HANDLED routinely...the biggest glare was him getting owned by the WR on the big game. Sal is right to point out Edmunds faults here, as the leader of the defense we need more out of him on a consistent basis. Thats not to say he hasnt had good games/moments, its pointing out that this super young and green LB has a long ways to go, and could be a potential liability sunday vs the patriots if they identify and exploit him. It is OK to point out some negatives when they exist. I am happy as HELL to be 3-0 and am an eternal optimist, those of you who think this is anything other than a good reporting job are looking for smoke and fires where there arent any. -
yoooooo.....PREACH preacher! Our D can keep this offense in check, noooo doubt. Our offense needs to stay the course and not give them TOs....
-
good...I want them running against us. They havent proven they can run consistently and thats against bad teams, WITH their "cog" FB in the game. Their rushing attack last week was pathetic...give the ball to the RBs instead of the golden boy, please.

Edelman injury this week?
PaattMaann replied to thunderingsquid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea I guess I dont really mean blitzez....I mean disguise your pressure and coverage, so you would still be rushing 4 (or 5) but dropping different guys into coverages. We all know very well how The Kid Kisser does against traditional blitzes... -
Edelman injury this week?
PaattMaann replied to thunderingsquid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a week I would love to see some exotic blitzes...drop the D-ends off into the flats right off the snap and bring the extra backer or two that Brady would think would be responsible for the flats up the middle for added pressure. -
Edelman injury this week?
PaattMaann replied to thunderingsquid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Gore makes a formidable RB that teams have to defend. He had 14 carries for 76 yards yesterday. Broke off a few chunk gains. Ill take 5 and a half yards per carry ALL DAY from our RB. Yeldon is talented but I wouldnt give him another touch, too fumbly. Lets hope Singletary plays, otherwise I would agree we should add another RB. -
Edelman injury this week?
PaattMaann replied to thunderingsquid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
he does when its called...see the first drives against the Jets. -
People can hate on him all they want, and I certainly do, but he made himself into a millionaire and changed the way sports are routinely covered. He is still a douche.
-
why? It'll basically be a second round pick : ) A stud WR with 4 years left thats right in our "window" of young, cheap QB...sign me up
-
I would make that trade in a heartbeat....dont know what it would take, but I would imagine a 1st and a third would be really intriguing for them. Especially with their current WRs getting it done.

I personally think the coaching and game plans have been spot on. Not predictable. Good mix of run and pass. Play designs have been STELLAR. We have plenty of weapons on offense, especally when Motor is back healthy. Execution by all 11, Josh's decision making (sometimes, and no not just on INTs, not identifying the open WRs pre play) and pass pro have been holding the offense back from the explosion in which you speak.

Jerry Hughes tweet about Brady
PaattMaann replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I had a dream where Hughes came screaming off the edge on the first play Sunday against the Pats and absolutely blindsided Brady with a great shoulder to the back, strip sack, Tommy leaves the game. Was a great dream. Hopefully I am like nastradamus.
