Bills @ Cowboys, Thanksgiving Day - 4:30
PaattMaann replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dallas has been dealing with the flu bug running through their locker room and coaching staff the past couple of weeks...hope this continues throughout the week. Looking like they could be without Vander Esch too this week. -
Missing Morse isnt minor. Sure Feliciano did a great job replacing him, but our line is strongest with Morse at center and Feliciano at RG....hopefully the hand injury can be healed in time for Thursday
-
yea, and weak jabs...I see weakness
-
I would fight him

Could Bills @ Steelers get flexed to Sunday night or 4pm?
PaattMaann replied to Negan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives

How cold will it be in upper bowl on Sunday
PaattMaann replied to BananaB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I sit in 307 every game, I wear a Kilt and a jersey, on days like sunday I wear under armor under both and im fine....I do wear gloves -
not all coaches give the same days off to players, ours happens to be Tuesday, in response to those above mentioning that as a regular team schedule. This week will be accelerated and light from a physical standpoint.

Good article on Josh (The Ringer)

we have fast WRs, their speed has literally nothing to do with Josh throwing it a mile by them -
Good article on Josh (The Ringer)
PaattMaann replied to Da webster guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
good article, also clearly explains why hes missing disastrously on long throws, hes scared of throwing a pick -
while I don't share your opinion of this weeks predicted outcome, if we lose to the broncos then yes your assessment would be correct
-
right and im telling you that you are wrong in your assessment, so theres nothing to catch. Game is still a month away but weve been under dogs in worse games, we will be underdogs in that game unless we beat both the broncos and cowboys (or ravens instead, but that aint happening). We will likely be underdogs to the steelers.
-
dont know why you are "lol"ing....games in Pitt, vegas hates the bills, I would expect to be the underdog in that game (unless we beat denver and dallas both)
-
oh totally, I am by no means saying he's just a speedster / 9 route runner and thats why he gets open. He is a great route runner and is shifty, but we were commenting about how he is getting huge cushions that he then sits down in the zone a lot which is leading to a lot of open holes Josh is finding him in. He is a great, legit #1 WR.
-
Oh I hear you man, but If I was a DC right now playing the Bills I would take that gamble. Love the progression from Allen so far, but he is STILL allergic to hitting the deep ball. I guess he is bound to hit one sometime this season, but I would be willing to be the first DC to play it that way.
-
Ive been wondering when DBs are gonna start jumping Browns routes/not giving him the cushion because the tape shows Allen cant hit the deep threat. Take their chances with getting beat deep more because they arent afraid of getting beat deep by Allen, knowing that if Brown does beat them Allen is gonna miss. Hoping they dont start employing that strategy because it just might work.
-
didnt declare them a lock to beat pats for 1st seed, I declared them a lock for one of the top 2 seeds, since neither of them play on wildcard weekend. And even if they somehow slipped to the 3rd seed, they still wouldnt play the bills because the bills are tracking for the fifth seed. So a lot would have to happen for the Bills to play the Ravens wildcard weekend - sure it "could happen"? maybe...not likely...but maybe? lol. Dont get mad because you forgot how the playoffs work / your backtrack reasoning that you forgot the Chiefs werent that high in the standings anymore As biggie says, its all good baby baby!

Brandt: "People are crazy to tell Josh Allen not to run"
PaattMaann replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You thinks wrong then. I remember hoping beyond hope JP was the guy, liked his big arm, was enamored by it. Loved the connection with Lee Evans for half a season, thought "this is it". But couldnt stand how he didnt seem to know how to play QB. JP would lock on, and JP needed easy passes to boost his completion %. He couldnt dream of making many reads and throws that Josh already does. Even in Josh's low moments so far I havent seen him "not know how to play QB". What was tough to watch about the middle part? Are you just referring to the Patriots game? They have confused everyone....Eagles game? Some of it he looked rough. He has looked rough at times due to him being a developmental project, but standing around not knowing what to do is no where near accurate. -

Yea or the way he stands back there and going through progressions looks NOTHING like Losman -
cool?
-
there is almost zero chance, ok there IS zero chance, we play them in the wild card game.....first two teams get a bye, they will be the first or at worst 2nd seed. I know we havent factored much into the playoffs in the past 20 years, but come on.

He has gotten better with footwork throughout the year, but yes he has struggled with this mightily. We should see a chip by a RB (if not a downright double team) or TE to Miller's outside shoulder as each releases to slow him down and give Ford a chance to set his feet and engage. That should really help him with the speed rush. Also not getting in too many obvious passing situations, and varying the snap count will all help.

Minnys interior offensive line is also banged up and backups...def. not saying Shelby Harris isnt a really good NT, but our interior is superior to Minnys

this comparison has been made since like the patriots loss. Except there is ZERO hype around Allen like there was with Trubisky lol. I guess theres a comparison...but, who cares? We are 7-3 against the teams we have played, and theres no secret we have a really solid defense that is the strength of our team, and an offense that needs to keep improving. We will likely face a really tough opponent if we make it to the wildcard round and who knows what will happen. Next years schedule, as of now, does look a lot harder. And even if we get better we could struggle to get to 10/11 wins. NFC West looks really good. But, its way too early to call it a tough schedule (its too difficult week to week let alone a year out!) with injuries/free agency/coaching changes/luck etc. Who knows so what is the point of comparing the two?
