  1. Josh said it wasnt a big game, its just another game on the schedule, during an interview yesterday on same national show. The context is that this is just what McDermott preaches, dont get too high, dont get too low. Take each game as one of 16, in a vacuum if you will. Trust me though, these guys know that this is a huge game, but they are TRYING to just treat it as another game. The McDermott Process.
  2. just jumping into this convo. Welcome. No doubt we have had an "easy schedule". We cant control that. We can only win the games we play. Its the NFL, any team can win on any given day. We have mostly taken care of business and good teams do that. Have you guys had a harder schedule, ABSOLUTELY! Have you dominated most of that schedule, ABSOLUTELY! I have been super impressed by the offensive rushing attack. Scheme is great and plays to Lamars strengths. More NFL coordinators could learn from playing to their players strengths like Roman does. With that said, I give us about a 40% chance of winning, which is about the highest I would give any NFL Team right now against you guys. Gotta play a complete game in all three phases to beat the Ravens right now. How we can win: win the turnover and field position battle. Force Lamar into what he doesnt do well in the passing game by taking away the short stuff, and the middle stuff. I haven't really seen Lamar throw to the hashes at all, so make him prove he can do that. Stuff the middle of the field in both the rush and pass game. Thats the best chance at success. Easy to say, DIFFICULT to do. But thats gotta be the game plan. Id say good luck sunday but I dont mean that at all haha.
  3. Daboll will be the OC again. I don't see him getting a HC opportunity this soon.
  4. This is EXACTLY what I have seen. He throws to the middle of the field really well, and usually guys are wide open. He hasn't shown a lot of deep balls, or most importantly, passes to the outside. Defense needs to scheme up a way to force those outside throws....jam the middle of the field with LBs and move the safeties up inside the hash to take away as many middle field throws as possible. Should be the focus on stopping the passing game. The run game is another issue, but hopefully those ideas go hand in hand. Crowd the box/the middle and dare Lamar to be able to beat you over the top. I don't know that he can. Their offense is plenty dangerous without having to do that though. Gotta force them into trying that if possible
  5. No huddle is not the same as hurry up...we run a no huddle as of late, not a hurry up
  6. I for one LOVED the additions this offseason, minus Kroft (where was the production and skill to warrant targeting him as a #1 TE?) and releasing Shady. I will admit to being wrong about releasing Shady, we obviously dont need him, although it would have been a luxury to have him while Devin was banged up with his hammy, but in NFL roster building, you can't have luxury at every position. I was most thrilled with adding Brown and Beasley. I was mocked by some non bills fans friends, and I knew that these guys would prove them wrong. I always thought Brown was explosive but that he could really be a #1 WR, which he is! He isn't the #1 like Julio or Hopkins (a freak who will go take it from guys), but he can run all the routes and get open and make plays all over the field. Not ever #1 looks like Julio or Hopkins, theres only a couple of them actually. Brown has been fantastic and is a huge reason for Josh's growth and the offense coming alive throughout this season.
  7. 27-23 Baltimore....I think we COULD get it done, but I just don't feel it happening.
  8. Focus on stopping Ingram smashing the gaps. MUST play assignment football. MUST funnel Lamar to the sideline. MUST take away the middle of the field in the passing game and force Jackson to throw to the sidelines. Easier said than done. On offense we have to have long drives and score TDs. They can be run on, and they can also be passed on if the run is successful. Josh is going to have to be his own weapon. A Kick or Punt return would go a long way to flipping the score / momentum. Simply put, we need to have a great game in all three phases. It can be done, no one is unbeatable. But this is the best team in football in my opinion, and its going to take a perfect game to come out with the win. Im not expecting it though.
  9. why am I in the minority of liking blue one blue...and usually my fashion sense in on fleek. Cant believe theres that many people who dont like it. The reds are hideous but the blue on blue looks good.
  10. not playing per Jerry Jones
  11. again dude, season long red zone percentage for ending in TDs, we are number 6 in the league at 65%, the ravens are number 2 at 68% (the titans are number 1 for the record)...soooo, we are scoring TDs dude. why are we marveling at the Ravens for being a couple statistical points ahead of us? I mean...im glad they are scoring TDs, so are we....
  12. ohhhhh NO DOUBT! I am sure its been said in this thread about the 90s Bills, or Michael Jordans entire career. It certainly can co-exist. I am just glad our current franchise QB (at least who we are hoping is) isnt concerned with partying and chasing skirts. Less distractions or chances at messing up is a good thing.
  13. yea, really stupid of our OC to dial up penalties on the goal line...Ravens are smarter than that. also...for the record, we are at 65% in the redzone for TDs and the Ravens are at 68%, sooo, im not too concerned.
  14. it is said, its also said, im glad my starting QB is settled down and focused
  15. Josh Allen has himself a Brittney Williams, so he doesnt need to go out and do this
  16. I thought what we were doing in the red zone has been working
  17. LOL....yeaaaa no. Gonna run for 200 with ease now.
  18. I dont mind the dancing, im not saying dont have fun at all (although as I am reading my own words it totally comes off like that). I love the fun celebrations as much as the next guy, but I REALLY like the juxtaposition these days of the guy just jogging off the field like "yea, thats what I SHOULD do". Business like.
  19. Tuesdays are the players "days off" usually, but thats not the case this week. Today is film and open media session for players I think at 430 Tuesday and Wednesday practice, and then fly to dallas. Thursday wake up and KICK ASS!
  20. Good post. A comment about the bold though, hurry up and no huddle arent necessarily the same. We have done a good job running a no huddle, but still taking close to the full allotted play clock, so it wouldnt HAVE to give quicker change of possessions.
  21. Yea he is a good dancer no doubt. I have seen several occasions this year he just jogs off the field, maybe daps up Allen, but just acts like hes done it before...ya know, like a pro
  22. sounds like both knew the gameplan was to pound the rock
  23. I prefer the route of "act like youve been there before" (also side note: I love John Browns lack of TD celebrations, like a pro)
  24. thats not how the playoffs work, dont come to buffalo, get ready to go a division winner, likely the 4 seed.
