  1. From Twitter: Scrimmage is on. McD wants players to get into routines for pre game and half time, so those are occurring/will occur. No Diggs. Dealing with lower back soreness (doesnt sound major). There were convos about cancelling due to protests/strikes, decided to move forward but conversations will continue. McD said its POSSIBLE the team keeps two kickers on the 53 due to COVID, not necessarily going to happen but its possible. (Boy I hope not ,we have too much talent all over the field to waste a spot on a 2nd kicker).
  2. Not to be that guy, but this thread is about the scrimmage today, there is a forum for politics
  3. yea last night, well after other professional sports teams went on their various strikes, the Bills announced they would be scrimmaging this morning at 1030, so I took that as a response to both the weather and the strikes. I could be wrong though. The Ravens approach seems the most practical/effective.
  4. yea I think he was mistaken in either thinking BLM or the weather could cause it to be cancelled. The Bills addressed both of those issues last night though, they will scrimmage.
  5. low hanging fruit : )
  6. knew this reply was coming the second I saw the post
  7. are we putting a lot of faith in Singletary? I guess...as much as one would put faith in a time share running back.
  8. not sure what I was supposed to gleam from that article, but I did enjoy reading it! Good insight into the young man. As far as my comment about his name, he told Maddy Glab (I THINK it was her, or some other female reporter) that he prefers to be called Gabriel. I was just correcting to honor his wishes.
  9. yea but were four years away from that conversation with Oliver, so I left him off the list, but yes you are correct.
  10. Milano is expendable. Love the dude, solid LB, fits perfectly for what we do. BUT, theres only so much money to go around, and you pay White and then Edmunds on defense. Draft well to fill future voids at LB/DE/S. Its cap management. I am happy we have this problem instead of overypaying for bums so they will give us a sniff. Have to have money for Tre, Edmunds and Allen. Everything else after that is a far leap below.
  11. It allllllll comes down to Josh. I agree with the bold script, we have it all, we just need our QB to make the third year leap and then the last sentence becomes a reality. But if anyone is still skeptical about how this team is built and run, they shouldnt be.
  12. the kicks being reported on are the ones that occur during 11 v 11 as "live kicks". The kickers spend the majority of their time practicing mechanics and kickoffs/fieldgoals away from a team setting.
  13. Bryan Cox Jr making the roster = Trent Murphy cap savings cut....and im here for it
  14. Not worried about DBs with McD, regardless of Normans status. I would assume since we need all the money we can get next year, we wont be using much more cap space so we can rollover to next season for upcoming extensions.
  15. Zo was an average pass rusher on third downs, we can replace that. He didn't play much LB per game anyway. We can replace that. I would say I am more worried about replacing his leadership, but we have a lot of guys who are emerging as leaders on this team. So I am less worried about that. Zo was a great Bills player, mostly for his attitude and community work. His football play will easily be replaced.
  16. Brady was already a shell of himself this year. We saw how that goes, Pats just arent that good with him at QB offensively. Didn't translate to wins for us against you guys for a few reasons. But I wont mind if he's playing for the Pats again next season, which I fully expect. He will never be the reason you guys beat us again, I am confident of that.
  17. thats scott weiland
  18. I agree with the game plan of running the ball. But I also know we need to get Josh going early or he has accuracy/jitters issues. First drive needs to have quick hitting passes and designed Josh runs so he can settle in early. Otherwise we will score 9 points all game. Have to get him going...then pound the rock and let him play.
  19. where exactly do we have these major upgrades? LT - same LG - could be the same, Spain has been stellar (no sacks all year) C - same RG - same RT - Could be an upgrade but I would be surprised given the resources put into Ty/Ford QB - same RB - probably an upgrade of RB 2, but is that major? WR - I'm guessing this is where you want that "major upgrade" - agreed, a solid number 2 or an equal to John Brown as a number 1 TE - same sooooo...are you just saying the major upgrade will be adding a good WR or a rookie WR with potential? Yea, I agree....but you consider that "major upgrades"?
  20. a few pizzas from Buteras in hamburg (delicious pizza) and a home made salad. Friend of mine has some fresh beer from asheville so we will tear into those.
  21. its funny that you think Allen hasn't had options on virtually every play.
  22. sure me too...but I dont think theres any chance he is there when we pick
  23. 27-20 Bills... Offense plays well, defense plays well but gives up a big play. Houston has a chance to tie the game at the end and the D gets it done.
