  1. I will go try to find the link on youtube for the video of him smoking blunts with some rapper, and idiotically the rapper says "NFL player STEVIE JJJJJJ" and passes him the blunt, I was amazed that when this came out it didnt catch any attention, especially because I am pretty sure it was pre draft...
  2. the WR corp is generating alot of buzz on this message board and on the bb.com message boards...the message boards are full of positive outlooks on our WR's...thats who says people are excited, the people! Im not one of them, obviously, I am incredibly skeptical, and am worried that we have done nothing to improve the WRs over last year, unless its addition by subtraction (TO)...bring innn HOUSHHHHH
  3. now THAT is a reason I can live with...haha...unless he sees opportunity to play a one year contract and be a starter here in order to receiever another bigger contract next year?
  4. it amazes me how confident everyone is with our receiving corp...really? we dont even have a true number 1 WR!! Yes Lee looks great running fly routes and 20 yard posts...but thats what a good number 2 WR should do...Jackson? Sure he has looked good in the preseason, I agree with that...butttttt its the preseason, theres a reason he didnt make the Patriots over some really poor WRs....Im not counting on him to be the man Stevie Johnson likes to smoke blunts, not play football, which is a dam shame because I loved him coming outta Kentucky, even after seeing the youtube video of him hanging with some rapper and smoking fat blunts...hes got potential but still didnt get on the field over our pathetic WR corp David Nelson had a real good camp and preseason, but needs to prove it in a real NFL game...ill reserve judgement here until we actually see him in a game Hardy = cut, now! Easly showed good flashes too...too bad hes done for the year... Roscoe looks like he is actually being properly utilized by this regime...but hes still a slot guy at best and we are all so excited about this group why?
  5. why is he an !@#$? the only things I remember him doing was calling some egotistical radio host " a punk ass white boy" like 5 years back and then this year he was upset with his Madden rankings....haha, why does that make him an !@#$? Especially as you say "one of hte biggest !@#$s in the league" thats a bold statement for someone with two MINOR public incidents...from what I have heard is that hes a great teamate...who cares what he says to radio hosts and madden geeks?
  6. again, please read my previous posts...bringin in Housh does not mean ANYONE gets the shaft thats already our WRs (besides Hardy, he will and NEEDS to get cut, he sucks and is injury prone like WOAH)...Housh brings veteran route running and intelligence to our young WRs...no, Lee Evans DOES NOT bring that, Lee Evans runs deep routes, period...they can learn from Housh by example...and just because we bring Housh in does not mean hes immediately our number 2 WR, he probably would see limited game action until week 4 or so when he picks up the offense..and even then, he can play in rotation with all of our WRs...its a win win Housh is an injury waiting to happen? Hes been injured ONCE in his entire career, in fact hes incredibly durable and CHEAP
  7. there was already a report that disputes all of those teams being interested, i will go back and try to find it, but the reasons were Jets and Cards dont need any more WRs...Vikings denied any interest, and the chargers just traded for crayton anyway, no one is going to trade for a player that is going to be released for sure AND if they trade for him they are stuck with his current salary, instead of opting to sign him when hes released and keep the Hawks' on the hook for the majority of his 2010 salary....would he come to buffalo even if we were interested? That, I do not know...
  8. 1. TO is NOT a possession receiver...he and Housh are vastly different receivers, Housh has always been a possession guy who runs perfect 5-8 yard quick routes, something our offensive coordinator/head coach has said he wants to focus on...perfect fit for Housh not Owens who prefers those 15 yard routes that dont necessarily force him over the middle every play...like I said, TO wants to be involved in BIG plays, Housh will be fine with his 5 yard catches, THATS what we need 2. Our young receievers can STILL develop with the addition of Housh...adding one piece doesnt force us to forget all our others...there are 4 quarters in every game, and if we use 4 WR sets at all, that leaves plenty of opp for all our receivers to see alot of game action 3. why cant a 32 year old receiver help our team develop? They see a guy who just shows up to work day in and day out and doesnt B word and moan, and focuses on the little things that have made him a pro bowl WR....route running and getting open...something NONE of our WRs have proven they know how to do - and yes this DOES include Lee Evans...sure he gets open when he runs fly routes down the field, NOT ins and crossing routes...Housh gets open (as evident by his 70 plus receptions every year as a starter) 4. He was signed to be a number 1 in Seattle, hes not a number 1...im not lowering expectations, its being realistic with expectations, hes a good number 2 WR, not the number 1....thats it, Seattle misjudged and is now learning that the hard way 5. We have money THIS YEAR to give to him (less than a million probably is what it will require)...that has NOTHING to do with "finding our Andre Reed" haha...Andre Reeds come once in a while...so you are saying we do not improve our team in favor or hoping like hell an Andre Reed falls in our lap? Silly...not to mention we have a potential good WR on injury reserve this year that could be our guy (Easly) 6. I agree with what you said haha... In short...adding TJ does nothing to detract from the rest...im not saying hes the best WR in the NFL...but he is better than almost all of our current WR's and hes PROVED IT IN THE NFL ON SUNDAYS his entire career....why are we afraid of success?
  9. Mike Singletary is probably the single most authority on Linebackers, ever....if matt wilhelm isnt good enough for him, hes not good enough for us...period...
  10. I am not saying we go out and get Houshmanzadeh (who will probably be cut today by the seahawks) just because he is a name. I am saying go and get him because he is a massive target who didnt live up to his hype in Seattle because he didnt catch TD passes, he still has caught over 70 balls every season hes been a starter...that is someone who gets things done. That is a possession receiever that we desperately need on a team of burners at the wideout spot. Housh is also an EXCELLENT blocker from the WR position, open up more lanes downfield for Spiller or even Parrish on short routes or screen passes. Not to mention we can get him fairly cheap because of Housh's current contract in seattle that says Seattle has to pay the remainder of his salary that his new team lacks compared to his Seahawk contract....example) if his contract was for 6 million this season, if he signs with us for the Veteran minimum of 850,000 then seattle still has to pay him 5 million bucks this year, not us...win win I think... Anyone with a serious reason not to pull the trigger on this one?
  11. Technically, there are THREE or FOUR Gronkowskis, we should probably just wait 5 to 6 years for the youngest Gronkowski...hes a WR/DB at Williamsville North right now, I think he is a junior, possibly a senior, 6-3 and 215 pounds...when he gets to college he will get with a college training program and put 30 pounds on that frame and he will be ideal tight end....and hes fast....so we dont need a TE for 6 years, lets just wait for him
  12. no, hes serious...and im kind of curious now too...why choose a picture of your bare chest...what kind of message are you trying to send with a bare chested photo of you to a board full of male posters...i mean, do what ya gotta do...its just a bit odd thats all but dam funny mandate.com comment haha...ohhh mannn this board cracks me up at times
  13. now PLEASE get to camp, learn the playbook and what you need to do, and then PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get in there and friggin produce for one....wouldnt that be nice? a rookie who DOES something?
  14. how do you know for sure that players were given their playbooks and assignments upon being drafted? this is not the status quo, so im just wondering how you know that spiller has already gotten all of his assignments and has been studying the playbook? While that would be ideal, I dont know how realistic that is...so do you have a link or anything to support this...I would love to see this true in print somewhere....
  15. hahahahhahaha, excellent post mack...you have most definately physically, mentally, conceptually, emotionally and scientifically proven he will be a great LB keep those gems coming
  16. not that i am disagreeing with your post, but how do we know he is the hardest working? Because he is allowed to be at this rookie camp right now? id be hoping trent and fitz would be working their assses off too...im sure they would like to keep their jobs and maybe even win a game or too...
  17. yea our group of 12 season tickets in the 300 level went from there to the comfort of my own living room, and I saved over 400 dollars per ticket....I just am not feeling like supporting ****ty/average to ****ty product anymore
  18. yupppp, im just a dumbass, no question aboot that there gents
  19. while I do agree with most of what you said...what moves did the Jets make that could "blow up their locker room"....they brought in Boldin who has been a locker room LEADER in arizona...the only issue he had there was he wanted to be paid like a number 1 reciever isntead of a number 3...understandable....they brought in another character guy in LT...had an odd draft....but I dont see where their lockerroom blows up...they have leaders all over that locker room, including a strong HC personality to keep people real....
  20. whats the same about coors light and having sex in a canoe? They are both F***ING way to close to water....mwuahahahaha Labatt Blue or Yeungling pleaseeeeeee...if I wanted to hydrate Id drink gatorade or vitamin water brah
  21. great post Bill, I also am leaning towards if we arent going to take the best OT available, take McClain...I agree that he will be a force immediately in the NFL....lets just hope we get ourselves a couple of difference makers in this years draft I dont think its a good idea to trade our number 2 for a number 1 next year, given the lack of talent/amount of needs this team needs just to put up a fight for 16 games...generally I would agree though, but not with these holes
  22. hahahaha, wreak havoc, exactly right....nice post
  23. what about all the Fitzpatrick lovers...they dont get call out's too? why, because hes black?
  24. ummmm...neither Mccoy or Suh are NT people, they are DT people, square peg into a round hole
  25. just out of curiosity, is that 80% a scientifically proven percentage, a guestimate, or what is generally agreed upon by athletes/coaches/critics? personally I think that only 72 % of winning is attitude....rebuttal?
