  1. I think it would be easy to forget about the book...it was years ago, and pretty minor as far as linking Walt to Gale (unless Hank finds it like he does) - when Walt does his cleaning hes obviously thinking about direct ties to the empire he has created, I could see the book easily being overlooked, I dont see it as a plot error personally If Hank doesnt confront Walt and just decides to investigate, he wont find much if Walt is truly "out" - what can he do? follow him? conduct financial investigations? I dont see where Walt could get pinned down here...unless somehow Hank finds the storage container of money?
  2. I wouldnt brag about having SU Orange college football in your back yard haha....how I read this post is "we only root for winning teams, so right now, since the bills have sucked, there aren't many diehards, unless its SU-you better win or we will forget about you (until you do win again)" - cny=bandwagoners? to the OP - GREAT post, and great reasons to love the bills (mine are all very similar) and keep the Bills love strong brother!
  3. great read Sage....love the extra details/info you seek out and include (ex. walt whitmans poem) to really fill out the review.... whats your hunch on how Hank goes after Walt? - and do you really think that stack was 100 million?
  4. good points, Easley was VERY MUCH in a run first offense...UCONN was power football all day, everyday, passing to their WRs was a third option on offense, so Easley's gameplan/routes/offense was very vanilla, with that said, hes had two years to learn the NFL offense - I realize he has had health issues, but that shouldnt stop one from studying/learning the nuances of the NFL and yes Stevie's offense at Kentucky was a bit more intricate, but its not like he carried their team haha....Keenan Burton was actually their top target while Stevie was there (although Stevie finished with better stats his last year there) and they were very much a run first offense - they were just a better offense all around than UCONN, so Stevie should have been a bit more advanced coming into the NFL...
  5. who cares if some kids dont get to play high school football? then get better, try harder, study film, be a gym rat.... "everyone getting to play" is why they have peewee football, and if you cant hack it once you get to highschool, then you dont play...period...this is why America has become what it is - everyone gets a trophy, everyone should go to college, everyone should be provided for....it all translates to why America is now lagging behind many other countries economically, we went from a cut throat civilization to a babied/coddled one....and it shows everyone is NOT equal, only the strong survive, social darwinism, etc.
  6. then you have never seen The Wire 1. The Wire (by leaps and bounds) 2. BB 3. Sopranos sorry Hell on Wheels lovers, but it doesnt even sniff the big three, maybe in a couple more seasons, but as of now? no freaking way
  7. cool story but no thread hijacking : ) Octoberfest is the idea here... And I too refuse to drink Octoberfest until September 1...
  8. Looking to try new Octoberfest brews...what are some of your faves?
  9. Rosy goes on PS, then we activate him after we cut Thiggy (when TJacks gets the offense completely) - end of story
  10. who the hell is Archer?
  11. perhaps you dont really watch football games? With the jets Brad Smith was explosive in the return game - we havent needed to use him in that role much because we have plenty of depth in the return game....Brad Smith is the emergency QB and 5th WR - but where his value is will be in the Wildcat formation - which if you watched/remembered, he was quite successful with last season (see: third and shorts), and Chan himself even admitted he didnt have the ability to really use Brad last year like he wanted, and like he will this year, because of the non-existant offseason..so Brads role will certainly grow this year..but as for you basically saying hes talent less and has had no game impact ever, thats basically retarded... but I do agree we should have found a way to keep a WR (maybe the plan is to sneak one or two on PS and then when Jackson learns offense and we cut Thigpen we bring one of them onto active roster?)
  12. McKillop should not even sniff this roster, let alone be getting 1st team reps (I know we had injuries)....he did nothing but wash himself out of plays, get dominated by linemen and miss tackles....if I wanted Keith Ellison Id have asked for him
  13. yea except the site charges buyers 15 bucks service fee, PER ticket...just went to buy a couple tix for home opener and when I saw the 30 dollars in service fees I said, nooooo thanks...(that might sound cheap, but get the F outta here for robbing me 30 bucks)
  14. the d-line (particularly DT's) were blowing up the backfield because this was the first live action and they just wanted to "get after it"...there will be more discipline, especially in the lanes, when we start installing game plans and such...all I took this as is a good sign that when we want/need to penetrate, these guys shows (early on) that they can indeed get after it...
  15. said it already but I feel the need to say it again, if you havent watched it yet, you suck at life....watch Restrepo....
  16. good job !@#$s, now I need some serious advice...
  17. Spending the weekend in Cleveland for the Bills vs Cleveland game....need some locals advice on where to stay (what part of town) and what to do (rest/bars)...The group im with is trying to get me to stay in the Shaker Heights area and go out to eat in "italian section" (they are very vague on where this is) and go out on "Coventry road" type bars....ive never been to Cleveland, but early saturday am planning on doing Rock and Roll HOF and Great Lakes Brewery Tour...any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
  18. soooooooo....what ever happened to this rule change? last night the womens beach v-ball team was certainly wearing bikini bottoms.....
  19. its not luck, or bad luck rather! when are people going to start realizing...STEROIDS did this to him...they deteriorate your muscles and ligaments, thus making injuries more likely and serious...he did this to himself, its not luck, its not poor him, hes an idiot...and if we get a couple useful games out of him, cool..but im certainly not counting on it Merriman is reaping what he sowed
  20. i liked the Adele version better too, and thats what we went with haha...no need to have shame, she has the best voice of any female singer, ever...and if anyone disagrees, then they are an asshat
  21. if your trying to "turn" your kids into Bills fans, and are going to go to the games and NOT tailgate, then your doing it wrong man....tailgaiting is not just for getting drunk and rowdy (although thats what I do)...tailgaiting is for grillin some food, taking in the atmosphere, walking around and being immersed in it - vendors, watching others, doing the whole bills fieldhouse bit....your kids will easily become bills fans when they see the passion of the thousands of other fans Ive been a season ticket holder for a long time, and have parked in private and official bills lots....and I strongly recommend going with Bills lots...only for the simple reason your right in the thick of it all...I have never once had an issue getting out of the lots (I also dont hang around and watch players celebrate/run off the field/take my sweet ass time getting out of the game)...once game ends, leave your seats and have a nice quick walk to your car and you'll be back in amherst in 30 minutes at most...park in lot 5 and you will have no issues what so ever...drive for 5 baby! (just taking your kids to games is to rob them of the season ticket experience)
  22. just got married: #1: engraved pocket knives #2: Make you feel my love by Bob Dylan (also a good Adele version out there) #3: if you dont know then you shouldnt be marrying the broad, and most importantly, DONT TAKE OTHERS ADVICE - you know your sitch and your relationship
  23. "anybody wanna go to JJs for some after dinner omeletes?" - Ron Swanson
  24. yea its not like actual game, no game clock etc...usually each team gets offensive sets and defensives sets, then red zone/goal line situations...literally just done to get into playing against someone else, break up monotony, try **** out...all for it and wish it was happening this year
