  1. You said it, 3 days off are required by CBA...so what would you prefer the Bills players do? Sit in their houses? Why not go somewhere for a few days? What exactly is your problem?
  2. HUGE drop off from him (Even him having a so-so season) to Connor McDermott lol
  3. negative, windy right now, wind dies down at gametime and is non existant at half time
  4. Id live as a pauper on the streets if I were you
  5. by multiple rating/metrics sites, the Chiefs have the 2nd best o-line in football id quit my job to be completely honest
  6. Thursday games have different rules, Sal Cap. tweeted about it yesterday thats the only reason I know
  7. They have until 4 pm today to announce
  8. Only problem with elevating Gentry again is he is out of call ups. Gotta sign him to the 53 at that point.
  9. This is the energy I needed to see this morning my guy!
  10. I don’t love two TEs vs a defense built to thump, personally. I’d rather spread them out so they can’t.
  11. RB chip and go out into the flats, motion RB out of backfield pre snap and get him in space on one of their 260 pound slow LBs...some good options there. We will see what they do tomorrow!
  12. 4 and especially 5 wide limits blitzing possibilities/where free rushers can come from. This is a major reason colleges use spread offenses, to help QBs. 5 offensive linemen and three or four down linemen on D doesn't necessarily leave anyone on an island with Judon. In fact I would expect them to have 2 men dedicated to him a lot, regardless of formation. 4 Wide also leaves the RB in to help chip on Judon/1 on 1 pass rusher.
  13. Disagree, it takes away pass rushers and/or allows Josh to better see where the pressure is coming from. Also allows more weapons in space for him to identify and quickly get the ball to. Im willing to bet we see a decent amount of spread offense. We will see tomorrow night.
  14. I hope to see more 4/5 wide to be honest. Spread em out and use speed. Josh is great in the pocket, he can step up/around pressure. Definitely some TE/RB chips to slow down the pass rush some, and some PA, but mostly I want to see a spread offense and Josh getting the ball out.
  15. I hope we don't punt to them for obvious reasons, but IF we do have to punt, I hope we punt it out of bounds and away from Marcus Jones. I also expect this to be a week that we choose to kick off for touchbacks instead of giving him a chance to return it / pin them down inside in the 20.
  16. this is literally not any new information lol. Of course this game was always going to be either saturday or sunday night
  17. on that particular play I would agree with you. However the larger issue we are seeing on offense is they haven't really practiced as a full unit in a month (until this week) due to injuries and the storm/travel/short week.
  18. You can SAY what you want, but the advanced metrics simply don't support that argument. Yes they throw a screen pass 15% of the time, but he's also top 10 in deep ball completion percentage. As the numbers say, when given time and kept clean hes gonna find open guys and LIKES to push it downfield. I don't think hes a world beater by any means, average at best, but the numbers this year suggest progress. Couldn't agree more. I wanna see a lot of Cook and Hines this week.
  19. Mac Jones ranks as very good when not under pressure. His completion percentage, QB rating, long ball/depth of target all rank him in the top half of the leagues QBs. When he is under pressure (either via blitz or just 4 man rush) he crumbles hard and is at the very bottom of the league in all of the above. The recipe for "solving" Mac is simple...get pressure. That works against all QBs, but this case is drastic. So I would say Mac has improved, when kept clean and has time. Just gotta get pressure.
  20. actual practice reps will help them develop chemistry, something they havent had in a month
  21. this is from yesterday...wondering how he looks today. Looked to tread gingerly on it in this video.
  22. Serious question. I like the move of adding Hines (gave up nothing and actually got them to take Moss from us) and think he is a receiving threat and has home run capability. So why did the Colts let him go for nothing?
  23. Yup. Converting Allen and Tre's salary to signing bonus creates like 25 million themselves. Can do similar things with a couple other guys. Greg Tompsett from twitter is great with the cap stuff and laid out a way that we could create 60 million in cap room (we wont do all of those things) and thats not even factoring in that the cap will likely go up more than the current projection. We are finneeeee money wise.
  24. your point is valid, but you are also exaggerating. It doesn't happen EVERY TIME. There are good cut ups readily available on twitter that visually show exactly what I am describing, Devin being late to the open hole. Its not necessarily a knock on him, its just that we aren't currently tooled to run that run game effectively. *EDIT: my bad, I didn't read you saying "in inside zone runs". I was referring to us running outside zone runs where the holes are present but Devin has been too late to them and they are closing too quick. Apologies.
  25. Another thing not being discussed enough here is not related to the line at all. Our RB's aren't good zone scheme RB's. Meaning they don't have to burst to hit the holes as they open that is required, and don't have the speed to hit the backside holes when those open later in the play movement. Singletary and Moss don't have it anyway, and Cook does but he isn't being used in this regard so I cant really speak to him. This isn't to say our RB's are too slow (although they kind of are) but it's to say that because defenses play zone against Allen the vast majority of the time, their defenders are looking into the backfield already so when they see run, they fire up to the LOS and holes frontside and backside close faster than against other teams.
