  1. huh, I started doing some research at their website before ya posted this (Thanks btw)....I cant say I have ever seen it at our local specialty brew shops...ill have to look harder, and then try the REALLY special shop which is a ways away (Aurora Brew Works for anyone in the Buffalo area, has an INCREDIBLE selection) so I rarely go....their IPAs look delicious, especially the Heech O Hops.... thanks for the tip!! Ill try to find
  2. do tell......never heard of it....
  3. absolutely - thats the reason I dont hunt...I own guns and love to shoot, but I am not fond of venison so I dont hunt....i stick to the shooting range everything about hunting is attractive to me, except eating the meat that comes with killing an animal...so I abstain
  4. the fact that this list excludes Sierra Nevada Celebration and Southern Tier 2XMAS makes this list a farce
  5. my favorite time of the year for sure... this sunday: pre thanksgiving meal at our house with my sister and brother in law and their kids, we do this as tradition the weekend before since we do different things for Thanksgiving, my wife is making roasted veggies, chipotle mashed sweet potatos, and cornbread stuffing and I grill a couple big turkey breasts wednesday night is meet with out of town family at restaurant/bar for dinner and lots of drinks thursday - my wife and I run in the Turkey Trot (longest annual running race in America) 8k, then lunch at my wifes mothers house with her family, and then dinner at my wifes aunts with the other side of the family (divorce)....and this year my Mom and dad will be coming up to join in the festivities, usually they stay back in my hometown with the rest of my family, so it will be extra special this year LOVE thanksgiving, and then the weekend after is full of christmas decorating/movies and music...booo yaaaaaa A very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and yours, be safe and stuff your face!
  6. he was putting on a clinic
  7. yea last weeks UB game was excellent national television
  8. yea Ive read those stats too, and I dont care, they are stats (you saying hes number 5 means hes number 5 according to the WPA stat, in which only tackles and sacks count, and those tackles can be any tackle anywhere on the field, hardly an indicator of his impact on a game), watch the 22 film of him, I cannot express in words how frustrating it is watching him get bulldozed off the line of scrimmage because he stands straight up....was there a big run? chances are its b/c Dareus got plowed into the LBs sure hes got 40 tackles, and 25-30 probably came 5 yards downfield Dareus has, at times, dominated a game (Sunday) - and the rest of the time hes been detrimental, now granted, that was early on in the year and he has improved to the point where im not throwing things at the screen watching him, but it still has happened A LOT this season...hopefully the Dareus we see every game going forward is the Dareus from sunday
  9. they were talkin about throwing dice, drinkin 40s and rappin'
  10. if a run stop means he made the tackle five yards down the field, then possibly...b/c thats where Dareus has been getting pushed consistently all year long (Aside from two and a half games this season where hes been a force) kids been feast or famine, and unfortunately mostly famine - hoping yesterday was a turning point/prove it game for him and he can stop getting bullied all over the field anyone who says he has had a great year clearly does not watch the LOS, def. go back and watch the LOS the first 8 weeks of this season and see him get blown off the ball b/c he stands up...more of yesterdays Dareus is needed
  11. Darwin says, if you try sliding on a thin rail in the 300 level (especially on a very windy day), you should plummet to your death
  12. post of the week, nice work...I agree with all of it 20 out of 25 is beyond hard to watch...and its been like that alllll year long - Hackett needs to learn the difference between "establishing the run" and "forfeiting first down"
  13. not even close to true, but since most people just follow the ball on any given play its useless arguing how much of a non factor Dareus has been throughout the year...2-3 great games and the rest have been hard to watch him get dominated
  14. the offense didnt look all that great yesterday...it was helped tremendously by defensive turnovers/good field position Hackett still decides to jam his RBs up the middle for no gain every first down....I understand establishing the run, its needed, and we should be a running team with Fred/CJ and our line...but I dont think Hackett realizes he can throw it on first and then run on 2nd or 3rd, or just throw it like once on first down and then that MIGHT open up the run game on future first downs....it was truly maddening to watch this yesterday I still think Hackett has a lot to learn to be an effective NFL coordinator - but at least he finally let EJ air it out (or EJ finally made the right reads and aired it out)....either way, yesterday was a step forward, but not a sign of an offensive juggernaut by any means....
  15. Dareus has NOT had a good year - has had a couple games where he (as the OP says) "brings it" and is nearly unblockable - but those moments have NOT been consistent this year....there have been plenty of games where he is consistently pushed 5 yards off the line of scrimmage by a single blocker Too often his first move is to stand up off the ball, instead of firing off the ball and dominating the LOS.... We need more of yesterdays Dareus....
  16. and I dont diddle the students gug haha in the words of an older, respected colleague of mine..."no 16 year old is worth your pension"
  17. the NFL already draws its competitors from the ranks of the poor, a lot of of players are poor kids who see football as a way out
  18. just park in the stadium lot - lot 5 party for life
  19. his albums and performances after the passing of Davis would argue otherwise (the Grammy awards say hello)
  20. I am going to see Taj Mahal perform some delicious blues tonight - it has been a goal of mine for many years to get to see him perform, but for various reasons I have never been able to see a show...the guys awesome, and I am verrrryyyy excited tonight he is performing with Vusi Mahlasela (amazing voice from Africa) and some other modern Blues performers...gonna be an epic night.... if anyone is in the buffalo area and is blues enthusiast...I strongly consider checking the show out (30 dollar ticks)
  21. yea based on this\ - Marrone (to the QBs at practice): "It could be any of you on Sunday" meaning - be ready to start....any coach worth his salt would tell the backups to be ready in case the starter cant go, he didnt say "This is now an open competition for Sundays starting spot" - he simply said "It COULD be any of you"...Thad aint sitting out with sore ribs, this is a precaution, and a wise one, let the ribs heal for another day - or two - and have Thad ready for Sunday why aggravate the ribs unnecessarily with throwing/running in practice early in the week?
  22. allllllllllllllllllllllllll this is, is a rest day for Thad, simple as that - he will be starting on Sunday
  23. you would lose a lot of money then
  24. KC, Pitt and the Jets will all bring waves of blitz's - we must pick them up, and we must hit the hot read, or we will go 0-3 in the next three weeks
