wow I have never heard who was "potentially" involved with the Kelly consortium. I would love for Trump to be involved. He and Kelly have USFL history together. Trump's ego would love NFL stage but is Buffalo right market for Trump?? maybe, I guess? Kelly would need to ensure that Trump doesn't want to relocate team to Vegas or somewhere more casino friendly, though. I would feel secure with Trump if Kelly was heavily involved. Maybe RB could be his next apprentice?

the NFL is better for owners than MLB. I've heard that RW clears $30M a year on the Bills; not sure about this, but think that is close to the number. He doesn't lose money and it's unlikely Rich or any of the others would either if they bought the team.

Tebow is a good guy but not a NFL QB. http://www.examiner.com/x-19045-NFL-Draft-...-Bowl-practices Through a few days of Tebow Bowl practice, oops I mean Senior Bowl practice; several players are helping themselves, while others are hurting themselves in regards to their draft stock. Media attention aside, it seems that Tebow looks like the next Gino Torretta or Brady Quinn. Lots and lots of hype, but little or no actual talent relatable to the NFL game. It seems that many forget that College Football is almost a totally different sport than NFL football. There are many players, coaches, and the like that are great in the college game, but not good for the NFL game. At this point Tebow is more hype, than anything a NFL team not named the Jacksonville Jaguars can use. While he looked a lot better in day two of practices than he did on day one, it seems the lasting impression of Tebow is going to be his struggles taking snaps from a center, and his difficulty making three and five step drops. That may change with a strong showing in the game, but this is going to be the wrap on him from now until draft day. At this point I don’t see how a NFL team can draft Tebow to be their QB. The Jags may draft him to help sell tickets, but I don’t see him taking a lot of NFL snaps as a QB. That being said the Jaguars may still take him in the first round to excite their fans, but I would bet that he ends up as a tailback or a tight end in their offense. Without doubt Tebow’s stock is down and down significantly, but let us take a look at a few of the other players in this year’s Senior Bowl: Stock Up • Mike Iupati, OG, Idaho- So far he is earning rave reviews for his play in the North’s practice sessions. He is putting elite players on the ground, and dominating the point of attack. He already was the best Guard in the draft, but this performance has his stock way up • Syd’Quan Thompson, CB, California- He seems to have it all, toughness and coverage abilities, and he is turning heads so far this week • Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri- He is aggressive, plays the middle well, and his very physical with blockers. Now he must prove he can defend the run • Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee- Strong play, and the ability to create penetration may be moving him into first round consideration. He can also chase down the play. He looks very impressive • Anthony Dixon, RB, Mississippi State- He looks to be one of the best bruising backs in this draft class. If a team needs a tough runner to get them some tough yards, this is the guy. He is one of the best between the tackles backs in this draft Stock Down • Taylor Mays, S, USC- I have been a lot higher on him than most, but he continues to disappoint. Watching practice yesterday he was routinely being beat by elite wide outs. He plays very physical against the run, but his weakness in pass coverage is being exposed • Javier Arenas, CB, Alabama- He lacks elite speed, and that is affecting his draft status. He may have to rely on the fact that he is a fine nickel back who has exceptional kick returning abilities -

don't worry about what the Packers did. he wasn't fitting that west coast system. the packers also cut kurt warner; tampa bay gave up on steve young; atlanta gave up on farve. -

stop drinking the Kool Aid- don't want a repeat of Jonestown in Buffalo -
if we are going to the 3-4; expect LB and Dline early and often in the draft. I would like to see a vet brought in to play LT while they groom/develop Bell. Move Wood to center (his college position!) start Incognito and Levtre at Guards but expect big & impact defense guys early with move to 3-4. And I'm all for that. Jets model seems to be a good approach to replicate. Our skilled players should be better than the Jets skilled players. McClain and Cody (I don't care about his weight - we need big weight on d line)

KC is a terrible team, why take all of their Bad coaches?

Kansas City has really upgraded coaches - see Cronell and Weiss; wish we were taking those KC assistant coaches -
FYI... http://www.newerascouting.com/01/2010-seni...e-north-report/ QUARTERBACKS –Trevor Canfield (Oregon State) cemented himself as the top signal caller on the North squad in my book. His arm strength is suspect, but he knows how to make up for it. He consistently throws a tight spiral and his ability to put the ball exactly where he wants to is a tremendous asset. I really like this kid and his future is brighter than Pike and LeFevour. Here is Day 2 report QUARTERBACKS –Another rough day for Tony Pike (Cincinnati). He was missing on a lot of easy throws by a wide margin. He missed a stationary Gilyard on a stay pass. He then rolled to his right and threw at Garrett Graham’s feet despite no defender in between the two. His balls are not coming out crisp, throwing a lot of wobblers. –Dan LeFevour (Central Michigan) had a rough time in the team drills, but I don’t think it was his fault. The offensive line was being obliterated play after play and LeFevour could not step in to his throws. There is not a lot of power in that arm, but he does know how to put a ball on a certain spot despite being pressured.

Ok I did and just found this Day 3 Scouting report - http://www.newerascouting.com/01/2010-seni...e-north-report/ QUARTERBACKS –Trevor Canfield (Oregon State) cemented himself as the top signal caller on the North squad in my book. other than you, who has said that LeFvour has "by far" been the most impressive QB there?

FYI from...http://profootball.scout.com/2/941359.html Posted by: Tim Yotter, VikingUpdate.com at 01/27/2010 11:53 AM ET LeFevour Makes LeMistake QB Dan LeFevour made a bad decision on a covered screen pass and LB Daryl Washington got an easy pick six. Posted by: Scout Senior Bowl Team at 01/27/2010 11:24 AM ET Ghee and Pike He was looking good so far, but Wake Forest CB Brandon Ghee just dropped a potential interception on an errant Tony Pike pass. Pike, meanwhile, continues his inaccurate ways. Tony Pike continues his inaccurate ways. He overthrew 6-4 Danario Alexander on an easy slant route.

you are kidding, right. here is Orangeman's post The obsession with Lefevour hopefully ends this week... "Meanwhile, Dan Lefevour’s college production exceeded all expectations at Central Michigan, but with small hands and only average arm strength he has little hope of success in the NFL beyond a back-up role. In particular, Lefevor really has to muscle up on most throws to get any zip on the ball, although he may be better on game day as he will have a chance to showcase his legs and take the focus off his arm." http://www.gbnreport.com/seniorbowlreport.htm "Central Michigan's Dan LeFevour lacks Pike's big arm, but was able to drive the ball with more authority than Canfield. However, he was the most erratic thrower Tuesday, struggling to hit his receivers in full stride. He has been limited in practice, as he has been asked to remain strictly in the pocket. Without the threat of scrambling, LeFevour's less-than-ideal accuracy is being exposed a bit against the North's quality defensive backs." http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/story/1...ive-backs-solid Dan LeFevour/Central Michigan Arm Strength: LeFevour, based on the way he threw in this practice, doesn't have a strong arm. He couldn't get any power into his throws nor did he get a good push off his back foot. Accuracy: Like many of the quarterbacks here in Mobile this week, he tended to rush his throws. Because of that, many of LeFevour's passes were inaccurate during this practice session. Pocket Awareness/Movement: Moving away from the rush wasn't an issue at all for LeFevour. He seemed to sense oncoming pass rushers well. Mechanics: LeFevour struggled with his footwork during this session. Because of that, he may have lost some power in his throws. His release point also seemed to be an issue for him. http://sdg.scout.com/2/941207.html

Terrence Cody a "Sloppy" 370 Pounds at Senior Bowl

ditto. the bigger the better - I'm tired of undersized and overmatched dline. We got run the f over this year -
I agree but think Maybin may be a bust unless he is used like Bryce Paup was - as a speed rusher
