As a Bills fan living in Baltimore as long as the Ravens (and thus also a Ravens fan) I can tell you that the majority of Ravens fans view Billick as a joke...yes. He had about as much to do with winning that Super Bowl as Trent Dilfer did as the QB. Trent Dilfer was not re-signed the following year for a reason. He wasn't any good. Does he have a SB ring, yes. Do (did) you want him as your QB...hell no.
Billick rode the coat tails of arguably the best defense to ever play the game. They had a stretch of 5 games in which the team did not score an offensive TD and they still won the Super Bowl. This coming from a guy that was an Offensive specialist.
