  1. I come from the "take what's broke and fix it" school. That is left tackle and the best bet to fill it from this class (Kalil being gone, that is) is Riley Rieff...WR? Kendall Wright in the second looks like a good pick. Brian Quick from Appalachian in the third looks good as well.
  2. hey...constitutional right to bear arms...deal with it. I got rid of mine the day I left the sheriff's dept and never owned another. Needed it in Viet Nam and needed it on the department, and don't need one sitting in my house.
  3. we've all been there. How many times after a few beers have we mistaken a hog for a girlfriend and humped her? Remember waking up, rolling over and going "Oh...my....God?"
  4. Dame Marion? Isn't that Robin Hood's girlfriend?
  5. keenum would be worth a late round pick for sure and for whatever reason I think he is fated to be a late round pick. I'd take a chance on him in round 6 or 7.
  6. Tennessee Titans pick for round 2 in order if available.

    Kendall Reyes DT (Connecticut),

    Brandon Thompson DT (Clemson)

    .Harrison Smith S Notre Dame

  7. if he could make it at LT he would BE an LT. This is not a position you fill with spit and polish and whatever is on the roster.
  8. There are only two blue chip tackles in the draft, Kahlil and Rieff. If either is available we should get them with #10. The second major position that needs attention is OLB and I suspect we should get that with number two. The draft is deep with wide receivers so I'd go with a db at 3. After that its BPA with a preference for linemen and maybe a backup qb.
  9. There are two quality tackles in this draft, Kalil and Reiff. If the trade worked it would be fine, but in reality I see Reiff going long before 16 (possibly before ten). If the trade happened as described I would love it.
  10. Tannehill is light years behind Luck and Griffin, and if there had been any depth in this draft would not have gone in the first or even beginning of the second round. Of all the people suggested for the 10 pick to date, he is the most unrealistic. Reiff is still the bpa at 10 the way things are playing out and he is the best position player as well. Picking him should be a no brainer. If Reiff isn't available I think Keuchley and Floyd figure into the mix as the offensive tackles after Reiff look like very late first rounder or early second rounders. Second round? If there is a first rate OLB I'd go that route. I see us drafting another OT somewhere in the mix and see us looking for depth on the offensive and defensive lines. We can do ourselves a lot of good this year.
  11. Hey rich,

I've got to go to a meeting and may not be back at my team's turn (Titans) so I'll give my top three picks: 1. mark barron, safety alabama/dre kirkpatrick cb, lsu/nick perry DE USC. One of the three should be available. Thanks

  12. The Kentucky guys do grow on you. I think the non-elimination was pretty manufactured though, but I can't imagine it doing anything other than delaying the inevitable. The one guy's knee and the other's ill health aren't going to get all that much better and as much as I like them and am pulling for them, they aren't all that bright.
  13. Certainly a dark show. The nice thing about going five years on these is they can really do in depth work with the characters. Don keeps his crap up he's liable to find her fooling around (with someone else at work? Ginsburg?). This is interesting but I'm feeling a little guilty as if I'm watching a soap opera.
  14. Depending on how old the girl was when this started he may have to try to get some in her remaining lucid moments.
  15. kalil is really the third best player available in the entire draft and he plays a position critical to the offense of any team. I can't imagine every team between 3 and 10 not salivating to get him. No way he slides to us, but if he does..grab him and be extremely happy. I'm not even sure Reiff is going to last til 10, but if he does we should go for him.
  16. I don't see how Reiff is a reach by any means. Most boards and lists rank him as one of the top 10 players see e.g., http://www.drafttek.com/ and some mocks have him picked as early as round 7. Based on the various mocks, analyses and all I can't see him as a reach by any means.
  17. look...bust of no bust we have our choice of one (Reiff) top 10 player in a position of need, or to take a chance or reach on two others (Martin and Glenn), arguably the best or close to the best wr (Floyd) a sure thing LB (Keuchly). I don't see it very likely we are going to get a bust. If there has to be a bust option I'd go with Glenn.
  18. Actually its kind of a cute idea. I guess not politically correct.
  19. I agree..the spreadsheet is not a bad idea...but sharing it certainly was.
  20. I think as of this moment this regime is defined by a six win season. If they don't win this year, I think this regime will be pretty well over.
  21. I just don't see tight end as a need, nor do I see any tight ends worthy of an early pick. Fleener in the second might be okay, but I would think we would be looking for an OT if pick a WR in round one or a WR if we pick an OT. If we pick an OT and Fleener is available given the number of WR's in the pool we might possibly go with him as the BPA.
  22. only thing that grabbed me was to take the one year wonder and look back. The other stuff was kind of horse poo.
  23. Scuse me..Nix/Gailey...as in Levy/Jauron, Donohe/williams.....both ought to go if they don't give you a winning season in three years.
