  1. Okay Johnny Gold. If you're right and the Bills are a number 7 to 11 team they will be in or just miss the playoffs and end the season with at least 9 wins. I'd love to see them do that, but they are playing like a 4 or 5 win team right now, and they seem to be falling apart whenever there is a little pushback. I'm going to have to believe my lying eyes over what some clown in Vegas is selling.
  2. He looks like a wino who stumbled into the field of play. Jeez I think of vince lombardi, tom landry, hank stram and others who actually looked like they were in charge out there and we get a guy who looks like an older version of those two guys from Deliverance.
  3. This season is a write off. Keep Gailey until the end of the regular season and then go out and hire Perry Fewell (as soon as he finishes his post-season)... Post season is that thing that keeps on going for a couple of months after the Bills are eliminated. That is unless Gailey manages to come up with nine wins. I don't want to sound cruel but didn't Gailey look like a stumbling around old homeless guy out there yesterday?
  4. Winners win...losers lose. You have to get a coach who knows winning and who reviles losing and is willing to do what it takes to win. Coughlin has what it takes...kick him in the teeth early in the season and he comes out the other end in the playoffs and sometimes as super bowl champ. Now..who is learning under that system..hmmm...Perry Fewell?
  5. yeah yeah...he owns the locker room. Maybe he can stake a bit of claim to ownership of the line of scrimmage for a change.
  6. William Howard Taft.... now THAT's a guy who can stop the run game...
  7. Yeah...like the bills coached up players in the second half of the New England game. I didn't see much difference between Mario Williams and Maybin...and Maybin costs a lot less.
  8. The coaching was terrible and Wanny and Gailey both came out from halftime oblivious to the possibility that Belichik might make adjustments. It took them 45 points to figure that out. Did the team play poorly? yes..and the coaches have to have them ready to play with some aggression. Did Belichick make adjustments? Yup...and the Buffalo coaches should have countered them. Do the players have talent? I think so as they managed to lead the pats by almost three touchdowns at one point. The coaching failure in this game cannot be explained away or minimized. I would expect Gailey and DW to learn from it and show us some real coaching next game. Nine wins, Chan...nine wins.
  9. Mental toughness would be nice. Actually he might want to throw in a smidgen of actual physical toughness as well. He might start by firing the defensive co-ordinator.
  10. Look...when you are at the one yard line, don't you think you should go with: a.) The biggest halfback who can bust a move into the end zone? b.) Corey McIntyre who weighs a zillion pounds and can force it in? c.) The large size qb Ryan Fitzpatrick a la Bart Starr in the Ice Bowl? d.) A back coming off a shoulder injury who the coach has called a "waterbug"? Answer: anything but d
  11. 45 unanswered points after taking a 21-7 lead is pretty hard to stomach. The Jets wiping us up as if they were the reigning superbowl champs is hard to take. Yeah...we beat two pretty weak non-divisional sisters. I'm going to be very interested in seeing whether we come back and at least play a respectable game next week. Nine wins, chan..nine wins.
  12. whoaaaa...I don't know what to say....thank you...thank you from the bottom of my heart...
  13. Brady is pretty darn accurate. The thought actually occurred to me in the waning minutes of the game, so I'm not surprised he made the observation. Note to file...so did any rational person watching the ame. I thought I was watching an episode of Oz.
  14. The guy it should have been when we hired Gailey would be a good catch...Perry Fewell. At least he knows his way to the superbowl.
  15. look at Jack Kemp's stats....he won the AFL championship twice. I think that qualifies him as a franchise qb. As to Gailey, I think the loss is on him. I'm not saying he should be fired this minute. If he gets nine wins he should stay. I'm not overly optimistic about the nine wins, but it might happen.
  16. I said it before and I say it again. Nine wins or we get a new coach and a new front office. Was there different personnel on the field after halftime for either team? No....were we winning in the irst half? yes. What happened in the second half? ADJUSTMENTS. A good coach made them and a bad coach didn't. Nine wins.
  17. This is going to be a great game. I think this is our opportunity to stake a claim to the Division lead and maybe title. We had two great wins but they were out of division and not with premier teams. This is our chance to get into the "top ten" where I think we deserve to be. Is it going to be a tough game? Hell yes. Belichik and the Pats much as I hate them are never intimidated and always well prepared. I still think we can beat them with a crippling running game that keeps Brady and Gronk on the sidelines. Bills 24 Pats 17
  18. Interesting idea. I sure could see a great set of rivalries opening up, but I would miss not having the traditional AFL/AFC East opponents. I don't think this would ever be considered unless in line with another league expansion that would open it up as an opportunity.
  19. That puts him ahead of all of our coaches of this millenium.
  20. I'm kind of hoping jackson comes back first, giving Spiller a chance to come back at closer to 100%. Being a running back and coming back with shoulder limitations sounds kind of risky.
  21. First, I'm not buying that the pass defense is that bad. Second, I'm seeing a hell of a pass rush Third, I don't see NE having a killer run game to keep us all that honest. Fourth our run game with Tashard and Corey won't be getting 40 to sixty yard runs, but rather move the chains and eat the clock 3 and to 6 yards at a time, keeping Tom Brady off the field. We can win this one.
  22. Lets hope it is no more than a week. He is on track for a first team pro-bowl appearance and I would hate to see him sidelined for any great length of time with an injury.
  23. Gee he didn't mention his playing days in Buffalo. Oh...I remember him now...I can see why he didn't mention them.
