Looking ahead to the Colts next Sunday
tennesseeboy replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the Bills are capable of beating Indianapolis. That is the problem for me. The bills have no reason not to have six or seven wins at this point in the season and have a tendency to collaps under pressure. Time to get a backbone and some testosterone and do what needs to be done. -
ND has beaten Albama 5 out of thelast six times they played them including Sugar and Orange Bowl games. I like hte history. I am in SEC country and one of the guys I work out this morning complained about strength of schedule. I pointed out to him that while ND was playing Wake Forest on Saturday Alabama played Western Carolina (I've never heard of it either...earlier in the season they played Florida Atlantic.). I attended the Wake Forest senior day pep rally and game....they do put on one hell of an event at that place.

Just on my way back from south bend where I attended rallies per game and game with My son gran Don and friend Who is on the faculty there. I,ve done game days at univ of Tennessee auburn Georgia Syracuse and others. Believe me NOBODY does game day Like Norte dame! Go irish

Jauron vs Gailey, Who's better, not even close!
tennesseeboy replied to USABuffaloFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
gailey is a worse coach than Jauron. That is quite an accomplishment given how bad Jauron was. -
And the reason we lost today is....
tennesseeboy replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bingo. The team play calling is off target, the defensive co-ordinator should have been replaced by now, the quarterback situation is unacceptable. I hate seeing a coach fired during the season, but chan should be gone after the last game. Unless of course he racks up nine wins. -
The one and only TBD Political Thread
tennesseeboy replied to Simon's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
From what they are saying on tv, if you aren't voting in ohio, iowa, wisconsin, colorado, virginia, pennsylvania or florida....don't bother. Me...i listen careful to all sides and watch the debates, read the papers, watch the ads....and then vote democrat. -
Well...as long as Chan gets nine wins he can stay. Maybe he wants to run the last six games to get the big mo for the playoffs. A serious thought though is it isn't Spiller carrying the team on his back, but Jackson, Spiller, Choice and even McIntyre can can. Chan might consider a two tight end offense and go to a time chewing running game to eat up clock and keep our defense off the field. Fitzpatrick can stop trying to be Jim Kelly and try to be more like Joe Ferguson. Move the chains, eat the clock and run the ball.

1st Round QBs Buffalo Passed on since 2000
tennesseeboy replied to 1B4IDie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think the bills were ever considering picking a qb in the first round after the Losman pick. They seemed fixed on running backs and defensive backs. More interesting are the offensive and defensive linemen and linebackers they passed on in the first round in favor of going three and four deep at running back. -
Mario Had a Torn Ligament in His Wrist
tennesseeboy replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let's see...maybe the trainer who let him play? The coach who didn't know what to do if a player was injured? That's assuming he actually had or has a torn ligament. Funny how losers always find injuries to blame for poor performance. -
Bye Week = Best Week of the Season
tennesseeboy replied to Boludo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, the bye week will probably be the highlight of the season for our defense. We should get a lot of film for the season highlight reeel. -
I'm taking my son and grandson to the Wake Forest game. We would have really liked a weekend where there was a hockey game as well. My son played hockey for th "Little Irish" at Aquinas in Rochester.

Our defense looks like a lapdance without a guy sitting there.

I'm not saying Marcell is a bust but...
tennesseeboy replied to jamestown-cuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lets see....the other four top five picks were cam newton, von miller, AJ Green and Peterson. He's a bust until he's not a bust. Hopefully he'll blossom in his third year, but as of this moment he is not third overall pick material. -
A stadium pole? With like...pole dancers? Sure would be a major contribution to half time, but wouldn't a lot of the wives and kids get upset?

Getting tired of this, bills and nfl
tennesseeboy replied to Vetriano's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've passed up watching two games this year. Taking my son and grandson to watcht the Notre Dame/Wake Forest game at Notre Dame rather than to a Bills game this year. If they don't feel like playing, I'm not feeling like watching. For a while it was something I just couldn't take my eyes off...kind of like a messy car wreck...now its just old. -
Exactly I said that when they hired Chan.

[closed]Happy 50th Birthday, Doug Flutie
tennesseeboy replied to 49er Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Given what we have been looking at on the football field since he left I find it hard to believe ANYONE would be bad mouthing the guy. He came to play and he never gave up on the field, pulling a lot of the games on the fire using nothing but sheer will power. The crew we have now couldn't even come close to him in the area of guts, on field character, and will to win. -
retractable roof? Why don't we have a drop-floor so that in games like the Bills have been playing this season someone can trigger it and the whole friggin team will disappear? Well, given the way the franchise has been led lately I wouldn't be surprised if they do drop through the floor and end up in LA or somewhere.

He got screwed. He should have started the Titans game. We are suffering through the curse, and won't be in the playoffs untile tribute is paid.
