  1. Walking on the tracks when you're deaf sounds dumb to me...deaf and ?
  2. I hear that train a comin....comin round the bend.....
  3. bushie's advisor OH NO....that's almost as bad as your "family values" domestic advisor charged with felony fraud
  4. I can't think of a worse job for a person with depression than covering the Buffalo Bills last season.
  5. That's considerably more realistic than letting Dubai run my ports, screwing up the middle east and our economy with a unwarranted and unwinnable war, failing to deal with a natural disaster and mistaking old conservative republican lawyers for a little bird.
  6. Kingston Alley Grill & Ale House 7355 Kingston Pk., 766-0464. Fresh baked bread and beef ground in-house. Sporting events on state-of-the-art TVs, game room, pool tables. Runs Parallel to 40. If you had more time you might want to stop in Gatlinburg or Pigeon forge. Kids love Dollywood. If you stop early in Johnson City go to Bailey's on North Roan. I'll probably pass you as I'm headed up to Albany. The Kingston Pike runs parallel to 40 so you'll have an easy on and an easy off, and there are plenty of good hotels along the route.
  7. Both Brees and Culpepper are coming off very serious injuries. I would be reluctant to sign either of them for the money they are demanding. I'm in the minority, I'm sure, but I think the teams who get either of them are going to regret the move.
  8. Thanks for the research. Bernstein sounds like a get, assuming he is around in the third or fourth round. Pass and run blocking is what we should be looking for and he sounds like what we need. If we want receivers, we can always get us a tight end or another WR. If we need runners, we can give the ball to Willis. A blocking fullback can make JP and Willis look very good. Hadn't given fullback much thought. Thanks for bringing it up.
  9. I actually graduated from South Park. I miss Kenny. He was a highly recruited football prospect. Would have gone to Tulane....blew out his knee.
  10. Call me an inbred moron, but I think this guy just may be putting us on.
  11. Or those inbred morons on Kennebunkport? Watched that clown talking about how wonderful things were going in Iraq last night and I thought I heard banjos playing!
  12. yeah..it hurts to be the team on the bubble that doesn't get it...but it's gotta happen to someone. The Big Conference teams play a strength of schedule that quite rightly gives them an advantage. That being said..if you're team didn't get in and had a good record, you have every right to be pissed off. Sorry man.
  13. Absolutely no way! I think Fletcher is terrific. I think we still need the 320 lbs of nasty on the line. The name Ngata comes to mind.
  14. I know...its like shooting pen raised quail on a rich republican broad's ranch! Any inbred moron could do that without incident!
  15. It does...but I'd like the running back to have to get through 320 lbs of nasty beef on the way past the line of scrimmage. On another note remember that Thurman Thomas guy during our Super Bowl years? He ran short route after short route and ate up the clock for us year after glorious year, keeping a number of offenses off the field. Those four and five yard runs can kill you if you don't stop them.
  16. I have a feeling that if JP comes out this year and plays to potential, with a good line in front of him and perhaps a high quality tight end we won't care about whether he is cocky or not.
  17. Some would argue that they only had 19 minutes offense because they couldn't stop the run.
  18. Yeah..how could I participate in a posting thread referring to inbred morons without the image of old Curious George with his digit up his nose mincing around on that aircraft carrier shouting "Mission Accomplished" You're doing a heck of job, Bushie.
  19. OH YEAH!!! Well I didn't go to Florida State, Notre Dame, Southern Cal OR Oklahoma making me twice as football smart as you!!!!
  20. Aww...actually I sandwich a job between posts and sometimes it takes me away from the posting. I didn't have a chance to respond to old Exhibit A for awhile there, Keg...but I'll try to do better in the future (God these inbred morons need a lot of care and feeding!)
  21. Right now our major need is defensive tackle, then Offensive tackle. That means Ngata unless there sre some real stud DT's out there in free agency. Huff is a very good safety prospect, but he isn't going to make much of a difference next season. Ngata will make a difference. Davis could also make a difference next season and I could almost understand drafting him assuming we found a very good DT somewhere else and addressed the o-line with pretty much the rest of the draft. But Huff (a great player) is a luxury that we can't afford.
  22. Lucky to have Cheney as VP? Now I know you don't know sh--. Cheney=RJ
  23. Actually all 5000 actually take a sh--. So many takers..so few givers!
  24. Isn't cower the coach of the Steelers?
  25. He's pretty much cleared the deck and he seems to be looking at the free agents in a deliberate way. See he took that defensive lineman from Indianapolis. He's got some money and I don't think he feels he has to jump in to get the "names" when he can pull in some quality over the next week. I think he's going to build the team he and Jauron want to play with next year. Let's reserve judgment and see how this free agency and draft thing plays out.
