  1. Geez...26? Give the guy some credit. There have been some of the best passes thrown in the NFL this season. I forgot about his touchdown pass to Parrish in the Detroit game and some others, in addition to the four in the lst two games. God I hope he kicks ass SUNDAY...The offense is got to really put out this week.
  2. Whooaaaaa...the mountain can't go to mohammed, mohammed comes to the mountain! Feels like the Nazis invading Poland! Things a little slow on the PPP board?
  3. I agree you with one thing. This is for the nazi board.
  4. Oh...my goodness...Is the Hugo like the Nobel Prize for Literature? and "Blade Runner" and "Total Recall"? Oh my God...right up there with Eisenstein, Kurosawa and Fellini...How could I miss this riveting stuff?
  5. Here's one from Pleiku Vietnam, circa 1969 Jingle bells, mortar shells, Charlie's in the grass... Take your f-ing christmas cookies Stick em up your ass
  6. as we used to say in my squadron in nam...good luck, good hunting, and come home...but more than anything else, come home!
  7. nah...he taught Donna Whitman...not a bad looking honey....Oh wait a minute..the course? It was Walt Whitman...
  8. Forgetting the outcome (peerless would have the advantage of a game winner) which pass would you pick as the number one? Why?
  9. yup...I gotta say that those two passes have to be in the top ten passes of the season. Awesome throw and unbelievable catch by both receivers. I remember someone on Peerless a few years ago saying he had "alligator arms." Never again.
  10. Sr. Vincent...St Teresa's seventh grade College...Leslie Fiedler...taught Whitman...the man was by far the smartest and most literate man I've ever met. His "Love and Death in the American Novel" was the basis for American Literary Criticism for a generation. Just died recently. One of my classmates in that class was Wolf Blitzer. Law School...Heywood Burns...great criminal law and procedure prof., later dean of CUNY Law School, and died a few years ago in Africa where he was helping draft a new constitution for one of the countries. Ken Joyce, Property, was a strong second here.
  11. hmmm..mother had opportunity, babysitter had opportunity, father had opportunity. Mother brings baby to hospital. How they are going to pin this on the mother beyond a reasonable doubt remains to be seen.
  12. I love it. I'm pretty happy with our receivers just the way they are. If we are going to get one in this next draft I hope its an outstanding tight end, and as far as receivers go I'll be happy and Eric can rot in Houston, for all I care.
  13. Why am I not surprised you read novels by a guy named Dick? I'll put him on my reading list. Wait a minute..that's full. I'll put him on my reading wait list for when I finish my reading list...noooo hmmm..I'll put him on some books I might get around to when I finish the wait list...ohhh...doesn't fit there. I'll put him on the "I'll read it on the desert island when there aren't any other books or reading material available" list....uhhhh.....sorry.
  14. There once was a fellow named Durkin Who was always jerkin his gherkin His momma said "DURKIN! Quit jerkin your gherkin... Your gherkin's for ferkin..not jerkin" Maybe we could jack off into the microwave?
  15. I can live with being behind Miami, given that they beat Chicago and have been playing well, and Harrington apparently has found himself. They were below contempt most of the early season but have come on. We'll be the Miami for the rest of the season...I hope...I'd love to see us come on strong, knowing that the BIGGEST hurdle we have to face comes this Sunday. Go Bills. I want to see us at a ranking no higher than 13 if we beat the Chargers.
  16. Jeezus...read Roe v. Wade and get back to me. I suppose every time you jack off you kill thousands of beings. Frigging genocidal maniac I suppose.
  17. This is the highest ranking stupid quote I've ever read. Typical right wing non-think. While this might pass as logical on the nazi board, it really doesn't pass muster here on earth.
  18. I wasn't thinking about Eli...hell talk about a backhanded compliment! F-Sirius NFL.
  19. I've had a Losman jersey since last year and have worn it proudly to the sports bar where a group of us watch the game. Have taken a bit of razzing but am getting begrudging respect for having it these days.
  20. Listening to Sirius nfl on the way in and the one fellow talking about wild cards says in effect "I don't know what happened to Jacksonville losing those two game sto Houston"..other guy "Bad enough..they lost to BUFFALO" Other guy.."Buffalo has something special going on with Losman and his receivers, we're seeing a lot out of Buffalo..." other guy...."yes they have played well" NOW HEAR THIS...."I guess when we talk about Manning and Rothlensberger we're going to have to include Losman in the mix the way he's been playing!" Thank God I wasn't drinking coffee or I would have spit it on the windshield. Not that I don't think JP is good (I do) but that he would get that kind of recognition. I hope this keeps up! Boy if we should beat San Diego we would be really in the mix.
  21. I remember a bills game a few years back...thought we had it won...then the special teams thing...pass from Wycheck...ohhhhh....I'm getting the vapors!
  22. The O'line is playing better, and Peters is a very good offensive lineman. However the remainder are of very limited talent. The last few games we have played aweak line offense with two tight ends, with sets to protect the qb. However in the last two games we played against pretty hard up defensive lines, played well and the qb and receivers were able to show what they could do. The thing to remember is that San Diego is NOT coming here with a beat up defensive line. That means expecting max play from the limited talent we have onthe line, giving help where we can and to some extent designing the game plan to deal with a very aggressive rush. Read the San Diego board. They expect a sack marathon, and will come out looking for bear. The sure way to defeat is to assume they will defend like Jacksonville and Houston. jauron is going to really earn this week's paycheck.
  23. The Bills pick 22nd in the draft and pick Sam Baker OT from USC... the Bills second round...Aaron Sears OT from Tennessee The Bills third round a linebacker or tight end
  24. They are anticipating a sack frenzy and giving JP an ass-whupping. No surprise. We just have to compensate with the two tight ends and possibly using two backs to protect and give Evans/Parrish a chance to get open and run the bejesus out of WM. San Diego will be the best team we play this season (I know..I know ...look at the Bears). That being said...a little good for us weather and a smart game plan and everyone playing with enthusiasm we might just play ourselves into the race for the wild card with a win.
  25. Gotta have the personality for it. My son played hockey in college til his eligibility ran out and he and his girlfriend (now wife) dropped out and bought an old house redecorated it, rented it, bought another, and now have 28 properties in Albany, plus a large banquet house and just bought a restaurant in Saratoga. So much for staying in school! However they put a LOT of time in finding properties, fixing and maintaining them and dealing with tenants. They really like all the work that goes into it. I can't visit them without my son getting me into overalls to go paint apartments and do renovations. It can be VERY lucrative if you have the right personal skills to do it.
