  1. So far we've gotten very little return on a very big investment. Hopefully he'll start earning his pay this year. Toe or no toe.
  2. That's kind of an important beginning.
  3. Lots of good advice here. You messed around, and you are certainly not the first and won't be the last, and you have some very difficult consequences.First take the paternity test. If the child is yours, one silver lining is knowing you can and have fathered a child, which can be a wonderful blessing. Second, get counseling with the woman you are in a relationship with and do everything you can to prove you are a man worth continuing in a relationship with despite the fact that there is a child for which you are responsible. If the relationship is meant to survive it will survive and if not you have to move on. I feel for you and wish you well.
  4. This fall the episode that involves the Ralph and the Bills Patriots game is going to be interesting. Naked and afraid sounds like our offense the last few years.
  5. Wow...and to think I thought it was pisz poor hiring of coaches and admin staff, lousy drafts, poor free agency signings, and failure to keep quality players. I like this theory so much better!
  6. I'll be optimistic when the Bills show something to be optimistic about. Like WINNING a few games and showing some talent. I have seen the Bills make every mistake in the book...from poor drafts to not keeping the actually good players they do end up getting to overpaying players who haven't panned out to lackluster coaching to poor trading. That stuff has to change.
  7. seems to me the most ijmportant thing to see will be Manuel's development. I don't think Kolb is going to get all that much opportunity unless Manuel proves to be a bust. Where we go this year depends on this guy getting into the NFL game early and taking us places.I guess the defensive line coming into their own is another area of interest as well. No reason they shouldn't be the best line in the NFL and its time to show it.
  8. Caladesi Island in Clearwater Florida. Have to take a ferry or kayak out to it, and it is a preserve, but one great great beach. Can't think of another one on this continent I like better.
  9. Meeting a player at a bar on at training camp isn't all that odd. I was hitchhiking out to the lake with my brother in the summer of 1965 and we got picked up Elbert Dubenion (golden wheels) who had a white Cadillac convertible. Neat guy. We talked about high school football and he went out of his way to drop us off right where were going. Another time I was coming from an event and got a flat tire late at night and was going to change my tire when a car pulled up and a guy got out dressed casually and said that I was too dressed up to change a tire and changed it for me. I offered him some money and he said Nah...you just do the same for somebody else. His name was Tracey and he was a linebacker for the Bills along with Stratton.
  10. I remember my dad taking me to the parade when the bills arrived, hating theBOSTON patriots with Gino cappelletti, warren rasa and the drafting of richie lucas, the first preseason game I saw had butch bird and Pete gogolak in it. I guess I was a fan from the outset
  11. It's an issue, it has been an issue...college teams (Ilike Bonaventure) have done away with the names. No-brainer...find another name. I don't see any need to p-off native americans and we all know this is going to come up again and again, year after year, until they change the name. Let's skip some of the drama and change the name now.
  12. Well...Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died on the same day. It must be that way with the great ones.
  13. How the hell did this guy get THAT clearance and THAT job? I've had some experience with NSA many years ago and they were pretty darn conscientious about security and who did what. This is really embarrassing and Snowden's is not the ONLY head that should be rolling. Makes you wonder what kind of intelligence service we have.
  14. Okay...let's all get real. I think most if not all admit he is at least the best defensive player on a bad defensive team, and some say a very good defensive player, and some say an all pro or close to it player. Most defensive players on the Bills with a few exceptions are mediocre (or, judging from their play don't give a cr@p.) This "re structuring" team is going to go into pre-season with this festering sore? Not a good start. Get him signed and concentrate on football. Alternatively do what we always do with hard choices, and dump him...see....McGahey, Lynch, Peters, Winfield,Clemens, Whitner et al.
  15. I'll be much happier seeing a bunch of bills rookies on the POST-Season all rookie team!!
  16. Winfield, clements, whitner.....byrd
  17. Bizarre. But I've seen too much (way too much) of Belichek to underestimate him. Maybe a no-risk what the hell move, but there is something up. I still think this is a bad move for Tebow. If he is as serious as he sounds about playing q b he should hav e worked something out with some Canadian team to get a chance to play the position. He might be some kind of utility player at New England.
  18. Uh....we have a great trackrecord for not overpaying...Mario Williams, Fitz?
  19. If you were up to your neck in a bucket of crap and someone threw a bucket of snot at you...would you duck your head?
  20. She smiled "tentatively". I imagine very very tentatively.
  21. Why on earth would your neighbor put a brown bear in his trash? Do they go in the recyclables?
  22. Let's see...we are comparing Kolb to Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitz? Boy are we in trouble.
  23. I am in Jonesborough up about an hour and ahalf from Knoxville. Love it here in the mountains.
  24. offense Stevie Johnson Defense Jarius Byrd. There are others who might compete, Spiller, Mario Williams, maybe some surprises...but face it this is a pretty weak team and I imagine most teams are delighted to play us right now.
