  1. good draft, but i have a feeling that we have to pick Willis, Peterson, or Okoye whichever drops. Of course our pick in round one will have a profound effect on the next three picks. We get Willis, for instance..running back, corner and wide receiver or second linebacker might be the way to go, or we might even take Justin Harrell DT in round two and go for RB and Corner in three. We get Okoye I think we get the best linebacker or rb available at two and fill out with the third round picks...We get Peterson, I see us getting a LB at two and CB/WR at three.
  2. Dead is such a relative term. Timothy Leary remains in a cosmic consciousness...wait a minute...there was a guy named Leary at the first concert I went to...OHHHHH....wow....dharma...
  3. THAT's disgusting. I'm sure our troops will be absolutely demoralized by an attractive young woman in shorts with such ample breasts advising them that she misses them and wants to do salacious things with them. My God...the horror. What our troops need is maybe Dick Cheney making a surprise visit...or John McCain walking through the plaza with the 101st airborne, the Tank Corps and 870 Green Berets protecting his ass...or a serious extension of their tour. Those extensions give them a chance to pick up those hot Muslim chicks that are dying to get close to them...by the way..check our their vests with that silly putty in them...
  4. My FIRST concert was in the 1960's. I don't remember the 1960's. Better living through chemistry. I vaguely remember Gracie Slick, or maybe Janis Joplin...on white horses..or clouds...ohhhhhh....wow...
  5. Let's see...why don't we get Imus to go down...little penance for the nappy haired ho thing...Could we get DanniLynne and her dad to reflect on the tragedy? Brittany to sing at the memorial service? How about a little American Idol karaoke? Hello, Mrs. Blank? This is Mr. Avarice from the law firm of blankety-blank calling to express our sorrow. I know money can't replace your loss, but when you have a chance to reflect on this tragic incident you'll probably have some questions regarding your legal rights and we stand ready to assist you in any way we can. You can find our office number and email on the card attached to the flowers our firm is sending to the funeral home. I'm so and so from the non-profit organization SAFE Campus...our lawyers and ex fbi folks can analyze this situation...point fingers..serve as expert witnesses on either or both sides of this terrible tragedy to insure that the victims are compensated and protect the university from avaricious lawyers trying to monopolize on this horror.
  6. I'm a Jonathan Wade fan and think he'll be available late in the first day. He's fast as can be, and has a major upside, given that he started out as a WR and switched to CB. I think we'd be wise to go for him with a 3 pick if we can. The number one pick should be whoever is left of Willis, Okoye or Peterson.
  7. Rising fast-Justin Harrel DT of Tennessee...has star written all over him and showed great recovery from a serious injury in last game of season, Senior Bowl and Combine. Would have been high first rounder now might be a nice pick for the Bills in the second..if he'll just STOP rising!!
  8. Hey..its a time for bereavement and prayer. There is a lot to look at as to how the University handled the situation and lots of time for cooler and more trained folks to analyze and review the situation. I'm a little reluctant to point a finger at this point.
  9. "hey lizzie, where can I take a dump?" I could see how that might be disconcerting. Especially for a Brit with a major stick up her arse. Dangerously inbred bunch of morons that monarchy.
  10. Looks fine to me. I like Irons more than Pittman, but Pittman would be a good choice. Wade may be a catch as well. Overall not a bad set of selections. Wide receiver and offensive tackle could fill a need as well, although I'm not familiar with either of the two mentioned.
  11. I suspect there is not a need to trade up. I see Willis, Peterson and Okoye as worthy of the 12 pick and ONE of them will be there at twelve. I know some will say Okoye won't make it, some say Peterson won't slip, some say Willis won't. I'd bet that no matter how you cook it, ONE of them will make it. No need to trade up for anyone...take the blue chipper that falls your way.
  12. Boy what a horror. The morning after the first class I taught at Appalachian School of Law a disgruntled student came in and killed the Dean, the Associate Dean and then went to the cafeteria and shot and killed a student (single mother of one.) He was overcome by a number of students or the casualties could have been much worse. What a thing for the parents and loved ones, the school, the community. My heart really does go out to them..
  13. Geez.. I had a girlfriend who is a police officer, and she told me that after Columbine they were trained not to wait for backup but to go right in to this kind of situation. How long a period of time did these shootings take? 42 people shot? Wow...kind of leaves you breathless.
  14. nazi rally? Guess there won't be much posting at PPP THAT day!
  15. The good news is, assuming King to be right, that there will be a minimum of five first string top choice players available for us. Vouple that with our biggest needs being at three or four positions (LB.RB.CB and possibly DT) we are in pretty good shape to get an impact player who can help us right away. In reality there might be "stretch" or two in the top ten to the point where a top ten player might slip down to us (Peterson, Willis or Okoye).
  16. Still liking Okoye..but willis or Peterson would make a lot of sense to me as well.
  17. Sorry to hear about that. I just settled a lawsuit nearly three years old where a truck driver ran a stop sign and hit me. Fortunately he did have insurance, but they were impossible to deal with. Although I tried to settle the darn thing for a reasonable amount without hiring my own attorney, the insurance company was unreasonable. I just picked up a check for twice what I would have settled for even after subrogating to the health insurance people and my attorney's fee. You might want to consider a provision in your auto policy that covers you in the event there is an uninsured driver hitting you. More and more of that these days, and not just with illegal immigrants.
  18. Nashville is a great city. Printer's Row, the Lonestar Cafe and a whole bunch of great places with extremely attractive young women (apparently quite partial to guys fromCincinnatti, by the way). Nashville Predators hockey, Vanderbilt, MTSU football, and not all that far from UT games in Knoxville, which to be honest makes bills games at the Ralph look like South Park versus Bennet. There's plenty to do for a young single guy, and lots of things to be involved in. Plenty of Universities and colleges, and of course lots of music and folks connected to music. You'll love it.
  19. Or the illegal alien drunk driver for killing the woman because he was an illegal alien..as opposed to being a drunk driver?
  20. I suspect MLK would have reacted pretty much the same as Al Sharpton did in this case, calling for pretty much the same outcome, including efforts at hiring people of color. Just taking Sharpton's acts IN ONLY THIS MATTER, which is admittedly hard to do, the actions are very consistent with the kind of things MLK would do.
  21. Helmet? We didn't need no stinkin helmet!
  22. Beason is no slouch..that's for sure. A little on the short side, but remarkable sideline to sideline coverage. I think there are four or five really good prospects in this draft and once you get by Willis (Maybe we won't get by Willis and we'll pick him...which would make me very happy) there are a bundle of very good linebackers to pick from. Beason, Timmons, Durant, DeOssie and others are very solid prospects. This is going to be a very good draft for us to improve on defense.
  23. Oh MY GOD!!! I agree again....call 911!! call 911!!
  24. interesting post. Assuming Crowell goes for MLB I think we would have to take a long hard look at Timmons as OLB. He has the speed and range to be a real contributor. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...ncetimmons.html My gut feeling is that the best situation for us would be if Willis is available for MLB and take him and let Crowell play outside.
