  1. Let me get this right-you get denied entry when you go to buy a beej at seductions because you have an old dwi here? Seems a little excessive to me. Before you know it those poor girls will be offering beejes to 19 year old virgins.

  3. Understand your frustration, but the fact that we haven't been very good at the free agency game doesn't mean we can afford not to play it. You don't want to start the season with two or three rookies on the O line. We'll probably get a rookie center, so I think it is important to get one or two gaurds through fa.
  4. Kind of tells us where we are headed in both free agency and the draft. We may have very different people in the trenches on offense AND defense next year.
  5. Ok ok....when all is said and done, it got rid of the head lice. Good thing she didn't have crabs.
  6. hmmm....and who said there wasn't life on uranus?
  7. Everyone you mentioned could be argued for...actually I considered goldenwheels , gogo and Tasker. Ritcher and Lofton....what about bobby chandler? Ron McDole?
  8. The all time team got me thinking about who might be the ten best football players ever to be on the bills. The first five have to be the Hall of Famers and my order for them would be Jim Kelly Bruce Smith OJ Simpson Billy Shaw Thurman Thomas Some will argue the order, but I don't see any other Bill getting into that mix. y next five are Cookie Gilchrist Tom Sestak Andre Reed Kent Hull Mike Stratton I obviously was more biased to the great teams of the mid sixties and the Kelly era. I think there are cases to be made for great players on lesser teams as well. Joe Delamellieure, Reggie McKenzie,
  9. "octopussy" Wait...wasn't that a James Bond film?
  10. hell..i've left a few barenaked ladies in my day. No big deal.
  11. Not really. It sounds as if he has some $300,000 in medical bills, and may have a permanent partial disability that might be compensable. He is pretty much out of luck if he doesn't get compensation, but the case of the Buffalo school teacher a few years back who was assaulted on her way into school is also one where comp was denied. These are tough cases.
  12. I suspect we will see a short suspension. I'm not getting excited when he didn't point the gun, use it in a robbery, threaten anyone with it. Yeah...he broke the law. If we're going to drop a pro bowl running back for this we deserve to be a 7-9 team (or less).
  13. I stopped there for breakfast and the girl at the counter had VERY nice torts.
  14. Probably wouldn't survive a motion to dismiss. If I were Mickey D's there would be a lot of other areas of potential liability in the operation of their business that I'd be putting my efforts into.
  15. from wikipedia Though he was only with the Bills for three years (1962-1964), he remains the team's fifth leading rusher all-time, and led the league in scoring in each of his three years as a Bill. Gilchrist was legendary as a pass defense blocker. Cookies' teamwork and willingness to "step up" and block for quarterbacks was a key part of his Bills contributions, and made the Bills offense of the era a unique challenge to defend. Gilchrist ran for 122 yards in the Bills' 1964 American Football League championship defeat of the San Diego Chargers, 20-7. His 4.5 yd/rush average is second as a Bill only to O.J. Simpson. He is on second team ALL TIME AFL as full back as well, was league MVP...you gotta go with the Cookie.
  16. WHOA there....I watched Cookie Gilchrist and I watched Jim Braxton. Jim Braxton wasn't even close to Cookie in either blocking or running. He also played linebacker, punted and kicked field goals. Gilchrist Simpson Thomas were the best running backs and Gilchrist may have been the greatest fullback in the history of the AFL.
  17. Tort action against Mickey D's? Probably not going to be successful. Mickey D's didn't bring the aggressor into the store, didn't direct the employee to intervene, didn't authorize him to pursue the perp. I don't see a remedy against the employer.
  18. I've been down here eleven years, and I've noticed that my sisters are looking prettier all the time.
  19. My feeling is applaud for them all. Some you applaud cuz you like their work, some because you liked them personally, some because your so glad they died.
  20. Interesting case. I'm sure the employer is arguing that the scope of coverage probably did exist when he was defending the customer, but that the scope of employment ended when the aggressor left the store and was neither in the time or place of employment. What if the "employee" followed him for five blocks? for two days? Not a clear case by any means and probably an interesting one for the Workers Comp board and maybe a court to decide.
  21. Thoughts and prayers. Keep a positive mental attitude and lean on the Big Guy (or Girl) upstairs.
