  1. great memories...I first seriously followed them in that wonderful year. Kemp, Lamonica, Dubenion, Bass, Cookie, Gogo, Sestak,Day, tracey, Jacobs, Stratton, Saimes, Byrd...oh what a team....
  2. Actually...and I include myself in this observation...the world is probably better off that we are wasting our time on this board as opposed to selling shamwows or stuff. Furthermore what would the buffalo bills do without our advice and guidance?
  3. I like it..lots of pounds and linemen there. Hopefully there a diamond or two among them.
  4. The fact is that the bills have never really addressed the poor quality overall in the trenches. Missing on Ngata (Okoye is the other we should have gotten) resulted in our being so poor on defense and our being a bad to mediocre team. We got a good safety? Wonderful..He can show off with all the opportunities to make tackles that should have never gotten past the line of scrimmage. We got a "stud" corner...wonderful that he gets the opportunity to show his stuff for five or six seconds when there isn't any pass rush. We got Lee Evans and TO? wonderful when they rush down the field to see Trent Edwards looking up at the sky. Want to grade drafts? Look at our win/loss record.
  5. Zohan was a pathetic movie. Gotta be on anyone's worst film list. Ishtar was pretty bad as well Gotta admit Showgirls had nice flesh, but it was pathetic. Of the ten I thought waterworld wasn't all that bad (not a good movie...but not in the ten worst category.) and I thought Basic Instinct was actually pretty good.
  6. Spanish flu? isn't that the stuff they give girls to make them horny? Actually my grandfather died of it on December 24 1918. My dad was about 4 years old at the time. Devastating thing.
  7. As buffalo bill points out, he's certainly gonna be a catcher and not a pitcher.
  8. with dolphins it is who I love to hate. Dan Marino and Brian Cox come to mind as all time winners. I hated Bill Parcells as a coach so I can hate him now. That first superbowl where he soooo out coached us has put him on the top hate list for me.
  9. I can't imagine there would be any question. Offensive tackle would make the biggest difference right now. I'm liking the rest of the offense. OLB is important but WAY behind a need for offensive tackle.
  10. just saw the video. Cops acted appropriately imhop. Hope they gave the guy some clothes before he was thrown in the lockup or Mr. Wizard would have spent the weekend playing hide the salami with the local riff raff.
  11. I think the bills are pretty much committed to going with what they have...If they decide to trade I suspect it will be for a better bet than Levi Jones, and I don't know if there is interest or potential trade targets out there that would be much better than what we already have. On the plus side the Bills FO knew the situation going into the draft, apparently knew the talent in the draft pretty well and certainly had a better take on the existing offensive linemen than we did. I gotta gie them the benefit of the doubt...at least until the offensive line shows us what it has in the regular seaon.
  12. less food, more exercise, lots of water. People get rich writing books about this and various exotic variations of this.
  13. Obvious navy veteran...any smaller he'd be a marine.
  14. I thought for sure there would be an OT, but the draft looks quite good to me. Nice work on the part of the bills.
  15. There are four OT's being projected as top 10 (or 11) picks. If the consensus was that the class was that weak, I don't think we'd be looking at that number of tackles being touted as such high draft choices. I leave Oher for the second tier, but would be happy to get any of the top three tackles at 11.
  16. The Bills will not draft ANY position in the first six picks not an offensive or defensive lineman (including tight end as an offensive lineman...a bit of a stretch)
  17. Kind of like when I stood on a bridge with a Texan pissing at night. To impress him I said, "hell that water's cold." Without blinking an eye ol' Tex said..."Yeah...and deep!"
  18. I agree, but think that there are three high quality OT prospects in this draft and it may very well be that they will be taken by 11, but I have a hunch one of them will slip through. If none of them is available I'd say go for the best defensive lineman available...and while I would grab Ayers, I can see plenty of good arguments for a couple of others at 11...in such a case we'd get us a second tier OT at 28.
  19. I suspect with the Peters trade we are pretty much out of the defensive lineman biz for number 11. If we don't get a first rate OT in this draft the season goes downhill and the FO becomes the laughingstock of the NFL. I for one would NOT want to wait to 28 to address this need. Kind of takes Ayers pretty much out of the equation as far as the Bills are concerned as nobody really expects him to be available at 28. Trading up or down doesn't make much sense as we should get one of the top three OT's with a tiny bit of luck at 11 and there should be a number of very good defensive line prospects, Center prospects, or OLB prospects or even a quality tight end (Pettigrew?) at 28. We are in a pretty good draft posture to address real needs, but OT is the biggest need right now. Ayers will be a good player for somebody. Not Buffalo.
  20. Kelsay? Maybe we are going with a defensive end at 11.
  21. The best thing is to look between the legs. If there is a pecker its most likely a guy. Vagina is a pretty reliable tell tale sign its a girl. Hell..with surgery these days you still don't know!
  22. Can you see uranus? Geez did I get in trouble in seventh grade asking a nun that question.
  23. i like Ayers, but trading Peters changes everything. I see us hoping one of the top three OT's makes it to 11. If that doesn't happen, I guess we might grab Ayers and hope to get a second tier OT at 28.
