Fun write up brother thanks for sharing but a couple things: No thanks on the Adams drama. We don’t need Diggs 2.0. Go cheaper with Cooper or Hopkins, less headache. Knox isn’t involved because he’s not consistent. He catches a TD and then drops the next pass and commits a penalty. Hes not the guy. Agree on Bass and I’ll throw in McD. They both need to be gone yesterday. Pick some dude up off the street with some confidence to replace Bass and put Brady in as HC. Worst case next year we’ve got Vrabel or Bill Belichick who on the manning cast consistently picked our D apart on what he would do differently. He even stated our safety duo was garbage because get this…they are (especially Hamlin) Taron Johnson is our most clutch defensive player. Love that dude. Thank God he was back or we probably lose no thanks to the refs and McD Ray Davis is a stud and we never need to pay a RB again. Just keep drafting one every year or 2 since the bills are good at that. Now if only we had some good WR scouts in the building

Agreed. It’s another year of Josh putting on his cape. McD is still the biggest weakness and that will once again be a huge problem with seeding (losing games we shouldn’t, see last week and the end of the first half this week) and when going up against superior coaching in the playoffs. Josh needs more. Get him cooper or Hopkins asap. He can’t keep throwing on the run for miraculous throws to RBs and TEs, the dude needs a go to WR for when Shakir is banged up. Hollins and MVS are not it and even though I love Coleman, he’s a 50/50 ball guy right now. We have a few good players on the D but we have even bigger holes that get exposed by great teams. Hamlin is awful I don’t care what anyone says and Rapp made some plays but is also a head case because he has no body awareness and his full throttle approach is a liability more often than not. Hopefully Beane can make some magic happen sooner rather than later. Please no Devante Adams drama though. And please please please let this be the last year of McD. I almost wish we would’ve lost if it meant McD would’ve been fired for another bonehead decision at the end of a half. Put Brady in there at HC and worst case scenario next year we hire Vrabel or evil bill to finally get some in game competence and a Super Bowl for Josh and Buffalo. Rant over. Go Bills

10/14/24 Game 6 Bills at (NJ) Jets MNF Post Game thread
NeverOutNick replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hamlin did not play well tonight. He is a huge liability in coverage and that’s even leaving out the awful Hail Mary that I blame on McD. Bishop needs to be in asap so that he’s ready come playoff time. Hamlin is not it and never will be. Great story but enough is enough -
10/14/24 Game 6 Bills at (NJ) Jets MNF 1st Half Game thread

Mcd has learned absolutely nothing since 13 seconds fiasco…Blitz 2 people and have Hamlin back there in coverage. Completely clueless -
Exactly. I love Higgins but he’s not a separator just like Coleman isn’t. They both have great hands and can win one on one but he’s not the guy we need. Go after a seasoned vet who can separate and be big in the playoffs like Hopkins or cooper. Both are reasonably cheap and shouldn’t cost a lot to trade for.

Who starts at safety this week?
NeverOutNick replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rapp and Hamlin are both liabilities in coverage and Rapp has shown multiple times his wreckless abandonment with injuring his own teammates on tackles. Let Bishop and Edwards be the guys and hopefully they grow as a tandem as the season goes on. McD and company wanted bishop so let him grow into live action and we’ll take the lumps. At this point we live with what we got since they did a horrible job in free agency starting with signing Rapp long term when so many better options were out there for the same price or cheaper I am hopeful by playoff time that Hyde comes back and Bishop develops. I’d be happy with those 2 back there and a healthy Milano and T Johnson back to fix the gaping hole in the middle of the field -
My best 4 team parlay is: Rams +3 Bills ML Cardinals ML Bengals ML I also got Bucs +3 earlier in the week and hammered that too

How are we feeling about the next 3 weeks?
NeverOutNick replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I won’t be surprised if we are 6-0. Honestly the way we’re playing I expect it. I went into this year with no expectations but now I want it all. This is our year -
Week 3, Jagoffs v. Bills, GAME BALLS!
NeverOutNick replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great game! Josh amazing. Joe Brady perfect first half (would’ve loved to see him continue 3rd quarter and then sit Josh all 4th but beggars can’t be choosers). Shakir is my favorite player on offense not named Josh, dudes an dawg. O line was impressive. Kincaid ditto. Our corners are absolute studs. Benford and Douglas are locked in. And the pass rush was relentless. Go Bills! -
Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes: The changing of the guard?
NeverOutNick replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s taking what the defense gives him and letting his playmakers RAC. Very proud of how Josh and Joe Brady are running the offense and even more proud of McD to not interfere. I will say I think they need to keep the pedal on the metal. If they kept it going 3rd quarter Josh could’ve been on the beck the full 4th quarter. No mercy means no regret. MVP! -

Long-term future of the Bills defensive backfield?
NeverOutNick replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with this, Douglas has been great since we traded for him. The thing I’m most surprised about is Ingram being 27 years old! Thought we had a young star in the making. Poor guy will only get one decent contract in his career -
Anyone else still sick to their stomach over that 4th and 16 bail out the chiefs got. Lost money on that and it was horse 💩 with both players making a play on the ball. Can’t call that in that spot 🤮

Week 2 - Bills at Fins - Post game thread
NeverOutNick replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
That looks like 4 passes in the middle of the field to me. And only 2 were deep passes. The one interception that was deep “middle” was the deflection off the shoulder. To each his own though. -
Week 2 - Bills at Fins - Post game thread
NeverOutNick replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Think he needs to be the starter by at least the Texans game vs CJ Stroud. We should be fine until then -
Week 2 - Bills at Fins - Post game thread
NeverOutNick replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love our cornerback depth I agree, but our safeties are still a liability. Thankfully they were not put in vulnerable situations coverage wise this game. The Dolphins didn’t attack the middle of the field like they should have and I’m thankful for that. I definitely think Bishop needs to be out there sooner rather than later when we play actual quarterbacks like CJ Stroud in a couple weeks. -
Taron Johnson ruled out for Dolphins game
NeverOutNick replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Said it last year Rapp is a liability. He's a heat seeking missile with no coverage sense and now he’s getting his own teammates hurt -
A Few Thoughts about the Cardinals Game, in no particular order
NeverOutNick replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s not wrong. But honestly, that’s what we built this team to be this year. We go as far as Allen takes us and I’m OK with that. But starting this off-season, we really need to take the burden off of him with some serious effort, getting wide receiver talent in the draft so we’re not putting together wide receiver room with spare parts left over from other teams. (This is not a slight on Shakir or Coleman who will be here for the long haul) -

What’s the point of always investing in our special teams when we’re never good on special teams…
