  1. I love the first 3 rounds! Actually most of this draft is awesome and I would be happy with it because alot of needs are met but I thought Schofield was hurt? I say get another OLB prospect in rd 4 and were set. QB will be handled in FA or in house this year and next year we get a real gem. Troy Smith would be nice.
  2. After watching the highlight real on youtube I've got to say if he checks out health wise I would be ok with us taking him at #9. I just don't know if his arm is strong enough sometimes.
  3. Just wondering what's the beef with Norwood? Another question where do you guys think Jerry Hughes from TCU would go because that guy would be a beast as a 3-4 OLB as well.
  4. Thanks for the kudos on the draft! I see your point with Collins I just want a stop-gap vet QB that could hold the reigns for a couple years while we develop next years first round pick unless like we discussed before we get Troy Smith and he really is the answer.
  5. Thanks! I think that if we get an offseason anything like this than Chan and Nix are on the right track in my eyes...
  6. First off we need a stop-gap vet QB because lets face it we have way too many other needs and this years draft class for QBs is not very good. I say trade our 4th for McNabb or get someone like K. Collins or I'd even be up for Troy Smith. Next year we get a true #1 QB for our franchise like Locker, Mallet, or Luck who all have really strong arms and would be better suited for Buffalo weather. Next we get a FA 3-4 NT like Pickett or Hampton. We will still draft a NT but we need an old vet to show the young guy how its done and so we can switch him out. Draft needs to focus on depth at positions that we are lacking in: 2010 Draft 1st: Anthony Davis LT or Russell Okung LT 2nd: Brandon Spikes ILB ( I have a feeling he falls to the 2nd rd) 3rd: Cam Thomas NT (stock rose from senior bowl can learn from vet) 4th: Eric Norwood OLB (unless we get McNabb with this pick, then this is mute) 5th: Alex Carrington DE or Vince Oghobaase DE 6th: best offensive weapon (Eric Decker WR, Riley Cooper WR, Jordan Shipley WR, LeGarrette Blount RB or James Starks RB) 6th: Cameron Sheffield OLB or Lindsey Witten OLB 7th: Best Oline prospect left Good offseason!
  7. No kidding I say don't worry about the QB position this year in the draft because the talent isn't there like it will be next year (Locker, Mallet, and Luck). We don't want to waste more time trying to find a diamond in the rough that isn't there ie Edwards. I say get a FA or trade for a veteran (McNabb, K. Collins, D. Anderson) this year build a lot of D line, O line and LB depth in the draft and get your real future QB next year! Locker, Mallet and Luck all have stronger arms like the ones we need for buffalo weather then any QB coming out this year. (Mallet might have the strongest arm to come out of college since Elway).
  8. You forgot about Cam Thomas (awesome senior bowl) and Torrel Troup
  9. I totally forgot about Collins he would be the perfect stop-gap for this year! Then next year we can get an actual franchise QB like Locker or Luck...Focus on getting OT(Okung, Davis, Bulaga, Campbell) or Dan Williams in the 1st and NT in the 2nd (Terrence Cody or Cam Thomas) unless we get Dan Williams in the 1st then Best OT available or a beast LB.
  10. Damn straight my point exactly...get a good stop-gap QB like Derek Anderson, build both lines and then wait till we can get a real top QB like Locker or Luck next year!
  11. I don't know I kind of liked that clip. It shows he really cares about his players...I say give him a shot, seems like he's had a winning record everywhere he's been. The emotion is nice to see out of a HC...now just bring in a good DC and OC.
  12. Looks like the Colts shouldn't have rested there players week 16 when they played the Jets! Could've been a different storyline with Houston losing to Cincy or SD. Now the Colts could possibly lose to the team they could've eliminated while going for there perfect season...WOW!
  13. I concur! I still believe as well...Leslie Frazier brings in McNabb we take the best OT or DT with our first 2 picks (unless McClain is the answer) and hopefully Frazier brings a good OC with him.
  14. I'm so sick of the media and people who say they are true bills fans talking smack about our team. No matter who we eventually get to be our HC I will still be rooting for the bills in the offseason and during the season. It's really going to suck if something terrible does happen to this franchise, ie moving to LA, because I don't want to cheer for another team in the NFL. I hope Buddy Nix and whomever we hire at HC pushes are Bills into the playoffs next year and makes all of these douchebags talking smack or rejecting our HC position eat there words. Just blowing off a little steam
  15. My # 1 choice is Brian Schotty. Better HC prospect than Josh McDaniels was last year in my opinion. Give him a shot can't really get any worse can it.
  16. Brian Shottenheimer and his father Marty would be an awesome combo any way you slice it!
  17. I say take the BPA at #9 whether it be McClain, Gerald McCoy, or Okung. The ranking will change after the senior bowl and combine but I truly believe there are 4 top 20 LOT coming out this year in Okung, Davis, Bulaga and Campbell. I really don't think Bradford has the make up to be successful in our buffalo weather (arm strenght etc...) and I just don't like Clausen, doesn't like to throw to the middle of the field and kind of a douche. I say get a FA QB for now maybe Derek Anderson and build our LT, DL, and LB spots in the draft.
  18. think that most Bills fans want an offensive minded head coach since we've been lacking in that area for so long. Our defense really isn't that far off from being top tier.
  19. I would like Brian Schottenheimer as well especially if he brought Marty with him as a coordinator. Also I just read this on Adam Schefter's twitter "I love Buffalo, tremendous fans, and don't mean to disappoint. But Bill Cowher will not wind up as the Bills coach this season. "
