  1. Kincaid does remind of a modern day Jimmy Graham type. He’s just fun to watch as a big slot. Best pass catching “TE” in the class. Hope he learns how to block a little better. I’d love him but don’t think he’s a McBeane guy. Mayer wouldn’t surprise me as much because he’s dependable in both blocking and pass catching even if he doesn’t have the wow Kincaid does. All in all I don’t think Beane goes TE early.
  2. This weekend I’ll try and come up with a Tier’d list with detail. A couple quick notes about this WR class is that it’s boring at the top with no real #1 game changing types with first round grades but I actually do believe there are about 20 WRs that have skills to make it in the NFL. I don’t see star power like Pickens or Wilson last year but definitely some upside guys. Zay Flowers is my favorite WR in the draft because he makes everything look easy. He’s a natural separator and like I’ve said before he’s like a human algorithm for finding the most precise route to gain the most yardage after catch. I like Q Johnston as my #2 but why doesn’t he stand out in big moments? Why did he get held to 3 yards vs Georgia in TCUs biggest game in program history? Is he just a big #2? The 3 guys that have #1 WR potential are also HUGE risks because of character or injuries or both are Michael Wilson, Kayshon Boutte and Jonathan Mingo (I would take a shot on any of these guys in the 3-5th round range) Josh Downs is fun to watch and will be an excellent slot WR Tillman reminds me of Gabe Davis. Love the potential but he’s so up and down with his performances. He makes it look easy and then he almost plays too relaxed to where he coasts along and makes me wonder where the heart is. Most of the taller receivers in this class aren’t great route runners (even though I don’t love JSN and Addison for where they are projected to go they are the best route runners) I do like the potential with this class in the YAC department. 3 other guys I just like because they pass my eye test of this guy could be nice on the bills and will also probably go later in the draft are Jayden Reed (watch this dude in the snow just feels like a Buffalo guy), Xavier Hutchinson and Charlie Jones I can dig deeper on more guys later but honestly if we can’t land Flowers or JSN (he’ll be gone) at 27 I’d take BPA round 1 and 2 (at least one of those picks better be O line) and round 3 take whoever remains out of Mingo, Wilson and Boutte (he may be off our board though
  3. ok maybe I’ll switch to Saldiveri lol
  4. To be totally honest O line is the hardest position for me to evaluate so maybe I should defer to Gunner on this one. I feel great with evaluating skill positions but watching O linemen film is about as exciting as watching paint dry
  5. I haven’t watched Saldiveri not a lot of old dominion games I’ve payed attention to lol. But I’ll look up his highlights since that’s about all we can see. Hey if you all think Saldiveri could be a stud OT maybe I’ll switch from Zavala to him
  6. Freeland is an athlete. He may not be the strongest guy right now but that can be worked on through a good strength and conditioning program. I’d take the chance on Freeland who has versatility over even a guy like Zavala who I was forced to vote for lol. Zavala doesn’t seem like he can play outside but could be a nice starter inside I would just rather take the chance on Freeland who could eventually be a LT replacement with his ceiling (or he could be a huge bust so I get it lol)
  7. Where are OTs Tyler Steen and Blake Freeland? We need O line depth dang it lol its basically Zavala by default at this point unless we add a couple OTs to the mix
  8. Man if you could guarantee Addison would be Devonte Smith I’d be all in but Smith is a different breed My ideal draft would be if Wright fell to 27, everyone in the league got scare or Flowers arm length and we get him round 2 and then in round 3 one of the top 3 LBers everyone loved falls to us. But that’s just me in fantasy land lol
  9. I hope they go OL early. We spend too much time developing later round o lineman that most of the time don’t pan out. Dawkins is getting older and more expensive, Morse I’m sure is retiring soon and Brown is a huge question mark. Protecting Josh is priority one imo and even if Brown turns out to be amazing I’d still be happy we took an O lineman early for depth and for the future.
  10. Honestly if I don’t see an O linemen in the first 2 rounds drafted I’ll be pretty pissed. Other than that I’ll have a cooler head depending on the player lol
  11. Since we’re at a stalemate on picks how does the next draft go? I know it’s no trade but do we keep the same teams, get new ones and/or let new people in who don’t take 14 hours to make a pick? Feel like the next draft should be like a 2 hour window at most and if you can’t make that fit in your schedule then don’t accept the invite to the draft
  12. I’m driving to work so this might auto correct and sound stupid but a couple of the most memorable fails I remember are taking TJ Graham over Russell Wilson when it was clear we had interest in Wilson. I remember being so distraught after that because Russell Wilson in my opinion was a better prospect than RGIII and I remember even saying that years ago he just had such a feel for the game in college even with the transfer from NC State to Wisconsin. He didn’t miss a beat and even got better. I also absolutely hated the 2004 draft miss cues of three Hall of Fame quarterbacks going early and instead of saying Welp we missed it this year. Let’s draft best player available and move on to next year‘s class. We decide to trade up for JP Losman. The 💩 icing on the 🗑️ cake was the following year. We did not have a first round pick because of the losman trade up , and you know, with every fiber of our being that Aaron Rodgers would not have fallen to the Packers because our pick would’ve been worse than theirs, and he would’ve been our franchise quarterback, and probably have won us a Super Bowl as well. But after all the misery and heartache, since the Kelly era, we as fans have grown stronger and more loyal and now that we have Josh Allen it’s going to be that much sweeter when we finally win it all and hoist up the Lombardi trophy
  13. Great call… deep down I want him to fall to like the 5th round and we take him to be the long term backup to Josh. He’d be great for a spot start here and there
  14. 100% agree talk about a shot to the giblets
  15. Not in my opinion. This QB class is trash and the kid a proven winner who wills his team over and over again. He’ll come in and be the last guy to leave every day. He’s got enough talent to take a chance on in day 3 but won’t be surprised if he goes end of 3rd round
  16. Shoot it’s not unrealistic lol. I actually really like the kid and think at worst he’ll be a solid backup for a long time. He’s got so much grit he should come with shrimp
  17. I agree on strange I think he falls to the 3rd day of the draft but I like him alot. Seems like a natural catching the football and a good number 2 to Knox if we can get him late
  18. Agreed he’s just fun to watch because he’s so good with his feel and turns his head around at the right time to make a play on the ball.
  19. As the falcons step over us napping on the steps leading up to the stage, we awaken from our slumber and hand the card to Mr. Goodell…And with the 76th pick of the 2023 NFL Draft the Baltimore Ravens select CB Clark Phillips III, Utah Phillips is a crazy instinctual corner with great balls skills. If he were a couple inches taller, he’d be a top 50 pick no doubt but the Ravens draft great football players and find ways to use them in their scheme. The Baltimore Ravens completely revamped their offense and added a lot of talent to their D in this draft after trading Lamar to the patriots: New to the offense: QB - Mac Jones WRs - Tee Higgins and Jerry Jeudy 1st round - DL Lukas Van Ness (or Van Nessty as he will be referred to in Bmore) 2nd round - DT Bryan Bresee 3rd round - CB Clark Phillips III Good luck AFC north the ravens are swooping in for the kill ☠️ The Rams and @NewEra are on the clock with pick 77
  20. OK let’s get the ball rolling Falcons. Would be nice to get the bills pick in today. The ravens got lucky that their biggest need remaining falls in line with two of the best prospects remaining at cornerback so I’m ready even if you take one of them.
  21. I get where you’re going with that statement because the talent level feels about that way, but I do think that mentally young and CJ Stroud are built differently than Baker, Darnold and Rosen. The 2023 top of the class seem to have really good heads on their shoulders so I think they will have better careers even if I don’t think this class is amazing. I don’t think anyone in this class including Richardson and Levis have Josh Allen potential in them. Levis people like to brag about his arm but it’s not even close to Josh even if he tries to play the same game as Josh with his gritty style and Richardson, with all his amazing basket of tools, hasn’t done anything with them production wise to lead me to think he will be able to in the NFL but if either of them gets with the right coaching staff, who knows. I’m also not enamored with Hooker but his production in the SEC this year definitely shows he’s a winner which teams are gonna like and he will probably drop to a good team so he has a chance to be a decent starter. We’ll see but my gut says Young and Stroud have solid 8-10 year careers in this league while the rest flash out.
  22. I mean you are taking your time like a woman 😬 😆 …just playing (low hanging fruit…that’s what she said lol)
  23. Will Anderson, Jalen Carter and Devon Witherspoon seem like the 3 guaranteed can’t miss 3 guys I want to succeed because they’re just fun to watch are Zay Flowers, Dalton Kincaid and Deuce Vaughn
  24. Ravens are ready for their final pick in the first 3 rounds. Sitting next to the podium with 2 cards in hand just in case 😜
  25. I hate the idea of drafting another RB this early when we need O linemen but man Spears and Vaughn are fun to watch
