The first photo is from the 2009 game vs Utah... different helmet, jersey, pant etc. The story telling is interesting and the players like it. Makes sense for them and helps with recruiting. TCU's slogan is "Til hell freezes"... nice

What dimensions and format. Do you prefer .psd .jpg or .png files? Does the imagery need to be royalty-free? Can we use and official Bills logos, etc. I can take a crack at it ; ) -
Where do you live now and time spent in Buffalo area?
Blanco_Diablo replied to David D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
• Born in Lewiston, NY • Been a Bills fan since I was old enough to know what football was • Grew up in Newfane, NY (just outside of Lockport) • Left WNY in '96 for college in the state of GA • Graduated with a Bachelor's, then Master's • Moved to Oregon for work in 2002, been here ever since • Win or lose, I am a Bills fan for life! • My career centers around football... which makes me look forward to all of my work trips -
I follow the Ducks and have been to many games out here. Masoli is not known for throwing the ball... he had his moments, but his passing game is not a strength. He also drops the ball on the ground too much at crucial points in the game. I never felt like he would even have a shot at the NFL. Masoli is too short and won't be able to fake out/run over NFL guys. If it wasn't for CK's offensive strategy no one would even know this guy's name.

Is there a way to remove lettering
Blanco_Diablo replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Removing heat transfer numbers on a replica jersey is not going to work, and you will ruin the jersey in the process. +1 the nameplate is the best way to go. Any shop that does jerseys for local sports teams can do it. -

I'm with you...shore up the line this year, build a soild foundation, get Mallett or Locker next year! -
I'm guessing it was Reebok proposing the new design and the Bills jumped at the chance (sells jerseys the first year=$$$, but hurts the Bills branding IMHO). They did the Seahawks, Bengals, Cardinals, Falcons and others shortly after getting the all-inclusive NFL deal 8-9 years ago. The Bills could change if they wanted to, but yes it is too late for the upcoming season unless they went full throwback. The two-tone design is lame and the introduction of navy was more of a color trend as opposed to having anything to do with the Buffalo Bills franchise history. At least the contract is almost up, so the potential for change is possible for 2012 if the Bills don't initiate something sooner.

Nope, still like him. He tore it up like anyone who has actually seen him play knew he would! Good for him, he will have a bright future.

http://www.nfl.com/seniorbowl/story?id=090...mp;confirm=true Stock up LeGarrette Blount, RB, Oregon Blount entered Senior Bowl week amid a host of character questions following his lengthy suspension following a postgame scuffle in the season opener against Boise State. While his character assessment remains a work in progress, Blount has impressed scouts with his solid play throughout the week. Blount has displayed a nice blend of speed and power as a runner, and his nifty footwork allows him to slither in and out of holes. Throw in the fact that he catches the ball as well as some receivers, Blount's value as an every-down back has started to rise in the minds of many scouts.

WORST Bills Player bang for the buck...

Here's to a the future! -
The way Florida has been stockpiling 5 star talent this year, looks like they will have the top class come signing day. However, Bama will have a solid team going forward, no question.
-
Preach...agree 100%

I think he was saying Carr is a one year stop-gap while we build a more solid team and then draft a QB next year. Don't know about Carr, but there will be some solid QB talent in the draft next year.
-
So because Phillips made horrible choices with his second chance no one else can ever turn their life around. Who knows which path Blount will take, for his sake I hope he has learned some semblance of a lesson. He has the "potential" to have a solid career.
-
We need Richard Seymour, I'm guessing he would get pretty hostile in those two games against the Pats.
-
Blount was running with the scout team all year. He was eligible for to play in the Arizona game but was never subbed in (if Oregon had lost, the Wildcats would have been headed to Pasadena. The Ducks won in the 2nd OT). And LaMichael James set the freshmen rushing record in the PAC-10 this year after taking over for Blount. They went 9-1 without Blount while playing one of the toughest schedules in college football. So no, I don't think his re-instatement was evident of some master bowl money scheme, nor do I think he got off lightly. The original suspension was a bit over the top/reactionary IMHO anyways. Byron Hout didn't even get a slap on the wrist for his taunting, and what did Spikes get for his eye gouging? A half-game suspension. You think Bellotti is Chip's lap dog? Really? You have just proven you have no clue about Oregon football. You don't have to like Blount, but at least he put in the effort when there were no guarantees. He worked hard, had tough restrictions placed upon him, and stepped up to show that he is "capable" of turning things around. Will he change his ways? Only Blount can make that call. Should we draft him? Who knows, ask Jairus Byrd.
-
He looked pretty good last year in the games I went to...and was a great change of pace back late this season against Oregon State. Blount ran through some Ohio State defenders in the Rose Bowl and was picking up steam until that botched hand off happened. It all comes down to what he learned from this year. The sucker punch jokes are getting a bit old. You have to applaud Chip Kelly and Oregon for how they made Blount earn his way back onto the field when he didn't even know that was a possibility. Word is he has also changed dramatically since his child was born. Regardless, do we need him? Not sure, maybe worth a flier if he drops to the late rounds.

Lynch is a top 5 back in the NFL
Blanco_Diablo replied to Trent is Unstoppable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I may be new here...but... are you saying Lynch>ALL DAY? If the 2009 stats tell you anything: Adrian Peterson #5 overall Marshawn Lynch #45 overall Soooooo? -
Can you point out what progressives were elected in 2006? Or 2008 for that matter. If you think more than 5% of the "democratic party" is at all progressive you're fooling yourself. True progressives get run out of office (Cynthia McKinney), have unfortunate "accidents" (Paul Wellstone), or get blocked out of debates a and made fun of (Dennis Kucinich). I can count the progressives on one hand across both houses. There is a difference between progressives and the democratic establishment. The democratic establishment which consists of mostly spineless money hungry, corporate entrenched, dumba$$es who could care less about any actual progress in this country (like most of the neo-conservatives). Republicans have quite consistently given a **** about anything that moves us in a new direction. So again, see who has been blocking even the slightest change and then do some research on who's in their pockets. This applies to both major parties. Progressive are just as mad as you about the direction of this country on many levels. We knew the billions given to corporations was stupid and would only cause inflation and debase the currency. Corporate welfare only ever helps corporations. Period. Progressives and conservatives both have similar goals, but if we spend time taking shots at each other we miss the point. We need to bond together as AMERICANS and hold ALL representatives accountable. Representatives that no longer choose to actually represent ANY of us. Direct your grievances towards them, instead of trying to make a case that it's the fault of progressives. We have a very corrupt system and it needs a complete overhaul no matter what side of the fence you fall on. We need campaign finance reform to take the corporate money out of politics...now that would be progressive
