I like McConkey a lot too. I love his precision route running and soft hands. I didn’t think he was slow from watching games, but his combine 40 was faster than I expected. Just for fun, I compared him to Diggs coming out. Basically same height and weight, McConkey ran a faster 40, pretty much the same split, just as good a vert and long jump, but Diggs’ hands are a fair bit larger and he has an inch on McConkey in arm length. I am NOT saying McConkey will be another Diggs, but the athletic profile and size are comparable and we know that McConkey is a great route runner like Diggs is.

Let’s face it, in this class if the Chiefs want a Wr at 32, they can get a very good one and we will not like it.

McConkey is an absolute route running master, Shakir is not in that class. I’m not dissing Shakir, but I think McConkey is going to be very good - just doesn’t fill the hole the Bills have outside, but then neither does Worthy. There are more than 10 receivers in the draft that could really help the Bills, but not as many that will play outside where Davis played. I think we can discount Coleman and Franklin to the Bills round 1, but Mitchell and Legette probably fit that role.

I’m not pounding the table for the Bills to take McConkey, but Worthy measured in at 5’11 1/4” and 165 - same height as McConkey, but McConkey weighs 21 lbs more. Really, neither of them fill the role that Davis played, but both of them are likely better than Davis. I know Worthy is super fast, but he is SO slight… Mitchell proved he is plenty fast and so did Legette - both considerably bigger and stronger, they would each fit the outside role. Worthy, Mitchell and Legette on the board, who would you take if you were BB?

The Bills’ 1st and 4th would maybe get them up 2 spots. Their 1st and 3rd might move them up to pick 23. I just don’t see a trade up this year. FA is yet to start, maybe they can re-sign Daquan Jones or Tim Settle or Poona Ford and maybe AJ Epenesa, even if they can, they still need more DT and DE depth and should also find a S and take a shot at CB if Rasul Douglas isn’t back. I know it is an offense driven league, but they have a LOT of holes on defense to address and little cap room to augment draft choices with free agents.

I understand that, but the Bills may not be able to get a big outside receiver with speed. Legette showed out, but I thought that Franklin had a rough day except for his 40. I wasn’t saying to pick either McConkey or Pearsall for the Bills, just saying they improved their stock today.

Add Ladd McConkey and Ricky Pearsall to the improved stock list.

No thank you on Worthy at 28. I think there is a reason Worthy wouldn’t do the field drills.

There could be excellent wr prospects left at 60.

Worthy is Olympic fast. I still don’t think he will go before mid-2nd. Legette’s 4.39 at 50+lbs heavier is arguably more impressive.

If there is a DL worth the pick and that isn’t mainly a 3T (Oliver’s role), it might make sense, but I don’t think there will be a top pass rusher left and there isn’t a massive space eater worth that spot. It might be smart to trade back into the top quarter of the 2nd and still nab a receiver there and then use the acquired pick to move up some slots with their own 2nd.

So big and athletic, not the very smoothest but at that size pretty good.

I don’t think they can afford to spend a pick before late 5th on backup QB (need 2-4 to replenish D), but Milton is interesting as a backup candidate.

McConkey is faster than a lot of us thought, love his game. Don’t think he is what Bills are looking for, though.

At least 1 will still be there.

Now, 4.39 for Legette is impressive!

Sheesh - Mitchell is FAR faster than I thought. That has to put him in 1st round consideration. I did not think he was that fast from the games I watched.

4.47 in the neighborhood of what I thought Legette would run. I never thought 4.3 range.

I think that’s too extreme, but 4.64 isn’t surprising from his game tape and it doesn’t help for sure. Basically, 6’2” is plenty tall, but 176lbs - ouch.

I like Baker, but would 60 be too high? I suspect so, but he won’t be available at 99.

My $.02 worth on Coleman depends on the minute you ask me. I like his size, power, hands and he is pretty fluid for a guy his size. But then, he really just doesn’t get open much. Part of me doesn’t want the Bills to draft him, but I don’t really want to face him, either.

I think Rousseau has had ankle problems that have slowed him at times. When he is right, I think he is good.

Probably aren’t getting an extra day 2 pick for trading out of 28 unless they move pretty far down. Sounds simple and cheap - getter done!

I don’t think it’s prudent to count Von Miller $ in the discussion of tied up resources. They are stuck with him due to his injury. Wish it weren’t the case, but if he doesn’t improve over last year’s performance, they have to have someone to play there. I get the concept of resource allocation, but I think Miller’s situation falls outside of that general concept.
