  1. That area is not so bad. Not if one has some common sense, which is true of any city. The new MLS Soccer stadium in being built in that same neighborhood right now. USC football packs the Coliseum in games that last into the night. The issue is folks don't care about the Rams in the same way. Simple as that. LA sports goes like this:1. Lakers 1a. Dodgers 2. USC Football RAIDERS might be 1a actually. 10. The other teams in whatever order one chooses. The Coliseum is a dump, but it's a dump that is easy to get to. If the Rams win folks will show up. If this season is like 2016 attendance will get even worse. There is an entire generation of LA people who are used to having no NFL team. That's a lot to overcome. And I've been in LA 15 years and I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen someone walking around with Chargers apparel. I bet they move back to Diego sooner than later.
  2. You mean Tyrod makes you comfortable because he doesn't speak politically. Kaepernick makes you uncomfortable for whatever reason you choose.
  3. Yes. Carolina is okay, but why some are acting like they are a powerhouse I don't get. If the running game is on point they most definitely Can win.
  4. By far? You didn't see the Colts did you?
  5. But they did dominate the Jets. Just didn't score all the points they should have. But in most metrics this game was not close. Jets used short passing game as a run game. Not worried about pass rush.
  6. Shady's better than Hunt. And Hunt was a monster last night.
  7. 😂😂😂😲😲😲
  8. They don't seem to value the back up RB position. Giving incentives to Shady or not would have made no difference in the Gillislee decision.
  9. Michael Brown was an impetus; don't overlook the Department of Justice report detailing the Ferguson PD. That fuse was lit before Michael Brown.
  10. LoL. If he is so bad, why would any team trade for him?
  11. If all that were true why are they just now getting rid of him? They will eventually be using one of their picks on a RB. A pick they wouldn't need to use on one if they had kept the young, cheap, capable back they had under contract for the next three seasons. What other position will get overlooked because they used that pick on a RB? No one is saying Williams is Thurman, but he is promising. And Shady is 30 next season. And Tolbert is 32. And Jones is a special teams player without much impact on offense as he has been throughout his career. And Banyard is 29-30.
  12. Yeah, coming off a foot injury and not having played football in over a year, while at the same time adjusting to the professional level. This pre-season he looked faster, quicker, confident and in better condition. He looked like healthy J. Williams from Arkansas. He's young and cheap also. No reason to get rid of him.
  13. Instant gratification is rare, true indeed. However, if you are as old as you state, you also know life is not promised. There are Bills fans who won't be in this world in three or four years. Today - right now - has meaning and import. After 17 years fans deserve some urgency.
  14. If it is so clear explain it for us please.
  15. They've put themselves in a position where they will need to use every one of those picks. No trading three or four away to draft some QB; unless they want to use a team of veteran FA's and undrafted FA's. But then again they said they will build through the draft so they wouldn't trade multiple picks for a QB? Who knows what these jokers will do. Only certain thing is if you were brought in by Whaley your out time is drawing near.
  16. Beane and McDermott are looking more fraudulent by the day.
  17. Reilly got jobbed. I hope they can get him back for the practice Squad. And Shorts I don't think the WR group is set. Brown, Holmes, etc. should still be keeping one eye open.
  18. Williams was waived/injured from what I saw. What injury does he have? If it's not long term He would be a good pickup.
  19. How do you know that? He hasn't played a regular season game yet. He hasn't had opposing defenses game planning against him. You hope he's better in this system; which we have yet to see for the most part because they weren't running much of it in the pre-season.
  20. Injuries and ineffectiveness in the scheme when he did play. Seems him getting cut was a possibility. Might as well get something for him. I was mad about Watkins and Darby. This trade I'm cool with.
  21. Sam Cowart Charles Romes Chris Hale Lucious Sanford Ben Williams Jabari Greer Derrick Burroughs Frank Reich Bill Brooks Kenneth Davis Leonard Smith
  22. It's not my way. The object of any competitive sport is to win. Analytics and various other ways of looking at sports is cool to a degree, but unfortunately, it seems that people take more joy in stats and analysis than the actual game. If the Bills lose let them lose trying to do what the game is about: win. Tanking is no guarantee of finding a great QB. Go read the pre-draft write ups of the QB position; "next year" the crop of QBs is always expected to be better. Rarely is that the case. Some of the best QBs in the league were not drafted in the top ten. Would you take Rogers, Brady, or Brees over Stafford, Newton and Ryan? Most would.
  23. Yeah, losing never makes sense to me in general. On purpose? Hell nah.
