  1. All logical points. But many crimes defy logic and we have to account for the possibility that emotion and frustration got the best of him. He could have sent the guy, but the guy went farther than he was supposed to during the "robbery". My my gut is telling me this isn't Shady though. My mind keeps coming back to the friend with the Instagram post.
  2. So far she is the one person who came out with a deluge of information. Info that has been backtracked on, disputed, etc. add in the AWOL, teenaged son on the night of the robbery, Shady's call to cops a year ago and his expressed belief the ex-girlfriend would try to drag his name through the mud, a neighbors call that people were starting trouble at the house with Shady's mother, it is all very strange. Hey, it could be that Shady ordered the job, but I'm just playing amateur detective. This seems like a situation that will be wind up being twisted up in unforeseen ways.
  3. I wonder if the friend who posted the original Instagram will be found to have a hand in this?
  4. I am not an attorney, but I don't believe anyone can truly give away their rights. If there is a law the court deems to be violated that violation will supersede any signed agreement. Can the lawyers among us clarify?
  5. Home opener. Weather should be nice. And the atmosphere for the home opener is always ???. Being as it's the Chargers it will be extra lit because folks haven't forgotten that whuppin they put on us last November. Bills games are part football game, part family reunion, part cookout, part camping trip, part rock concert, part x-games (and part bar room brawl depending where you sit). Oh, and get Duff's wings.
  6. HOF? Probably not. He definitely should be on the Bills WOF though.
  7. The powder blues are sweet. I was thinking the Oilers unis with the light blue helmets from the mid 60s. The Titans were them several years ago. They looked really good.
  8. I think he was upset about being traded at all. I think he liked being in Buffalo. Didn't he take out ad in the BN after the trade thanking the fans? And for all the talk about Marcell's (bad) habits, he is not playing pro ball due to an act of charity. There is talent and hard work involved. Enough to realize Hall of Fame potential? Apparently not. But work nonetheless.
  9. I thought Mike Williams would be a perennial All-Pro OT.
  10. 9 draft picks in April 2019. More young, cheap reinforcements coming. Rather draft another LB.
  11. Unfortunate. He's very a very good writer. Could be thin-skinned, but that has nothing to do with the quality of his work. He'll land a gig soon enough. The real question is what what will come of the News? At least it's sports coverage. The conglomeratization of news and other industries is not a good thing. At all.
  12. He's seen stacked boxes at times since he's been in Buffalo. He will produce regardless because he is an elite talent. He will also produce because in spite of questions at QB, they will be able to throw at times, just like Tyrod could at times. I doubt we hear him complain even if he has reason to. Don't recall him throwing Dennison or Roman under the bus; or a teammate either for that matter.
  13. The Hall of Fame is supposed to be about on field accomplishments, nothing else. His numbers say he's a first ballot guy. He's never been arrested or in any legal trouble. Folks reaction to him is way over the top.
  14. Of course they did... Which brings me to the other part of source vetting. Some folks just don't care and are willing to be purposely misled. People make mistakes. Journalists can get info wrong at times. That's different than a "news" outlet intentionally spreading misinformation. We are definitely in dangerous times and that includes those who buy into the propaganda machine out of petulance or other reasons. Eventually that machine, unchecked, will eat them too.
  15. 1. Allen starts week 1. 2. Defense is top 10. 3. Shady runs for 1100+ (Yep, I'm calling the offensive line being good).
  16. There is truth to that. But social media has links to reputable sources of information as well. You just have to know who they are. The issue with that is those sources who are not reputable spend a lot of their time attempting to cast legit sources as untrue to muddy the water.
  17. True. But I will also add that the situation happened 20 years ago and Bennett did the time/counseling mandated under terms of the plea agreement with the prosecutors. He did a bad thing, he received and completed his punishment. His name has not been associated with any criminality since then that I've heard. I'm sure Kelly and others recognize their own foibles, some known, much probably unknown, in their forbearance toward Buiscut's misdeed. If Graham has an issue with Carucci he should speak to him directly instead of using Bennett's old situation. I'm sure he sees Carucci often enough to face-to-face with him.
  18. He's not far off. Another couple seasons over 1,000 yards and his usual impact in the passing game, he's in. If he retired tomorrow I think he still might get in but it would be a longish wait. I'm just glad he wound up with the Bills. High end, elite, rare talent is a beautiful thing to watch.
  19. How so? You have a group of people on stage who would be directly affected by the policies of the administration Pence is a part of. They did not physically attack him or curse him or call him out of his name; in fact, the actor who spoke on behalf of the production chided the audience for jeering Pence before he spoke to Pence. The performers asserted their humanity and hope that the administration would represent all people; as the president's words and actions at that point called that into question. Did you actually hear or read what was said?
  20. I don't think you can blame the media. They report news. The protests were news. Then the president takes it up a notch with his comments and misinformation, now they will report that and analyze the various parts of the situation.
  21. Kendricks would seem to be a good addition, but it's possible Beane/McDermott like their current group of LBs and prefer to draft one next year with one of those 9 picks (cheap, potentially impactful labor). Or they might be waiting to spend money on a WR that comes free. They have some money left but perhaps not enough to sign Kendricks and a WR.
