  1. That's possible, but no guarantee it happens. Of course what one considers overpaying is the question.
  2. 1. Teams don't game plan to stop Ivory. 2. Where is McCoy supposed to run when there's defenders getting into the backfield when the play starts?
  3. Why? Whomever would take over would still have an offensive line that can't run block. So Shady and Ivory would still be stuck; and a QB who can't throw consistently good passes to WRs who can't get separation consistently, when the offensive line wasn't giving up pressure everywhere. Daboll ain't the main issue-- talent is.
  4. Who said overpay? No one.
  5. He's healthy and available, and has been throughout his career. That's bringing a lot more to the table. Doesn't matter how good a player is if he's not actually playing. See Sam Bradford.
  6. Greedy Williams is the DB I believe the Bills would take. He's the best one in the draft. I believe they would try to trade down if Bosa, Oliver, Williams are gone. I don't believe Harry is going in the top ten. I think he goes in the back half of the 1st round. If Williams is there and the Bills took him I would not be mad at all. That's a potentially stifling secondary in a league built on passing. White, Edmunds, Johnson and Milano would still not be in their prime as players. Taking Williams would not preclude additions at WR or O-line. Ten picks and cap space, the Bills can build that offense. In the top 10 I want the best, most athletic, impact players. In the top ten you take the best player available.
  7. Why? That's not what he wanted. He's not getting used up. He will get his contract from someone. The Steelers have a good player in Connor. Win-win.
  8. The Eagles are a different organization with different people in charge. It's not an apples to apples comparison because what is important to personnel people varies from organization to organization. E.J. Gaines was hurt a lot, but played very well when healthy. He was allowed to walk. Sammy had injuries, and a contract coming up. Beane and McDermott both talked about being available among other things. Yeah, I hear you. ??‍♂️
  9. They wanted to get out from under his injuries-- which made paying the money an issue to them. It also allowed them a chip to use to get a QB. Time will tell if that was a smart strategy.
  10. They already have ten picks. if Bosa is there it's a hard ask to pass him up.
  11. Then you call the EMT to come get me. ?
  12. Boss's a no brainer but the Bills might not be picking number one or two.
  13. Yeah, but he might be the cleanest, highest impact player on the board at 5. You're a true humanitarian. ??
  14. I take Greedy Williams. Address OT in Free Agency and elsewhere in the draft.
  15. Perhaps, but he can run and catch and play multiple positions on the field.
  16. They are good and going in the right direction and folks will hate to hear it, but the best players in the coming draft are defensive players. Don't be shocked if Beane adds to that defense with their first pick.
  17. He's a good, versatile player. Probably behind the scenes stuff going on that came to a head on Sunday. He'll do well for the Ravens.
  18. If he wanted to go elsewhere he could have gone already. The man said where he wanted to play and you see where that is. Let him be.
  19. Benjamin yes. Why he's gone in the tank I have no idea. It was a good gamble. Peterman was a draft pick. Different thing than a FA or Trade. Understood. If it's a lineman I wouldn't be shocked. Agree on RB.
  20. I disagree when it comes to Offensive linemen and RBs. WRs/TEs? You are right. But perceived top talent and who Bills consider top talent might be two different things. Micah Hyde is an example on the defensive side of the ball.
  21. Not necessarily. Depends on what position they play.
  22. The point isn't crapping on other QBs. The point is that they all have had ups and downs. However, the downs of the other rookie QBs are ignored by those who continually harp on Allen. Basically, the grass is greener crowd. None of these rookies can be said to be definitive hits or busts. Not after 6-8 games.
  23. WR's as well. Getting spoon fed plays and every offense designed to play in space it must shock a player's system when they get to the pros and have to analyze a defense before the play or as the play gets under way having to make decisions based on the movements of the defense.
  24. Yes he has, but Shady is 30 so that automatically means he can't do anything, reality be damned.
