  1. His boss fired him. Extrapolate from there.
  2. Being good at offense or developing QB's, which in Gase's case, is debatable, does not make him a good head coach. HC is about the entire team, strategy and operations as well as culture of the team and organization. How did Gase do with all of that in Miami? Not so hot from what I saw; which is why he was available.
  3. And then you remembered you're talking about a construction project in New York State... a Reno might be under that. A new facility? I doubt it. Not because it should be over 1billion; not that it has to be over 1 billion; just because New York.
  4. Brian Daboll's not the HC. If Kingsbury got an OC gig maybe this hire wouldn't be so suspect. He's good with QBs, great, make him QB coach. And 39, in and of itself, doesn't mean jack.
  5. No. They declined that option a while ago so he is free and clear.
  6. McVay was an NFL assistant for seven or eight years. His grandpops was the GM of the 49ers at one time. Kingsbury did play a few years, but that ain't coaching and it damn sure is t being a professional head coach. The Big 12 is a 7 on 7 league. What team in that conference plays good D? The top teams all score boucoup points. That's not special in the Big 12.
  7. Mike Leach and Tommy Tuberville didn't have issues winning at Tech. We'll see if Kingsbury is up to it, but there's a lot of reasons to doubt his hire.
  8. Everyone knows. And he didn't call anyone out by name. And he wasn't talking to reporters. ??‍♂️ I'm fairly certain more specific things have been said within the confines at One Bills Drive by players and coaches alike.
  9. Not a big deal. The players know the truth. The results back up the tweet. None of the RBs had a great or even good season, in spite of flashes at times, and the offensive line was the main issue. So many posters on here stayed the desire to get rid of many on the offensive line weekly, yet, when a player who is actually on the field says something folks want to clutch their pearls. FOH. BTW, did anyone see Dion Dawkins response tweet? He knows too.
  10. I hear you, but AB doesn't have the injury history though. He usually is available to play. Either player would be a big help though. As are a lot of people in general...
  11. They are also reported to be interviewing Hue Jackson and Eric Bienemy. Which one is the Rooney Rule interview? ? All of those men have a connection to the Bengals having coached there or played there at one time, which is how Mike Brown likes to do business.
  12. Every CB will get beat, at some point, and not all of the WRs will be household names. Those WRs are NFL players who are also getting paid. Of course they are capable of winning some plays.
  13. Beane hasn't demonstrated to you he is willing to move up for the "right" player(s)? It's possible if they like Allen that much. Watch Free Agency. If they fill enough holes on offense there, anything is on the table come draft night.
  14. I didn't prefer Allen. At the time of the pick I was hoping for Rosen because he was safer and would be ready to play sooner. I still maintain a guy like Allen is really a second round pick if the draft world made any sense. His physical talent was high end, but his production wasn't. However, I believed if Allen could put together all of his physical gifts and skills he would be the second coming of John Elway. That's his ceiling. After this season I'm all in on him. The kid is a dog. He goes for the opponents neck, balls to the wall. He has "It". Hes an exciting player. That said, he has a lot to improve on, so the jury is still out, but he took good steps this season.
  15. If the BPA at 9 is a DT Beane will scoop him up, just as he should. That 3 way rotation is okay. But if you can add a potential all pro talent they would not be wrong to do it.
  16. Don't care one way or the other. For the Bills to get where they need to be it will come down to the constant development of their young players and the retention of impactful talent. It's up to them, not who is coaching or playing in their division.
  17. Mike Williams had a neck injury at one time, and a back issue. He's ballin out for the Chargers.
  18. This is funny that people take offense. The man has gotten farther than 99% of people who ever put on pads, including, probably, a good majority of this board. But he "sucks" "couldn't get off the practice squad" lol. I'm sorry, can "you" get on one? He didn't get brought back and his dawg is coming out. Human nature. An athletes' nature. No big deal. ??‍♂️
  19. I approve this message. I loved Washington in last year's draft for the Bills.
  20. Allen improved vastly from beginning of the season to the end, and made large strides the past six weeks. Culley must be doing some good work. Or is only the mistakes Allen makes that are supposed to be credited to Culley?
  21. The truth is no one grown person can "make" another grown person do a damn thing. One hopes an ability to analyze circumstances, goals and sel-reflection will lead to a person doing the right things, or accepting a course of action that won't cause disruption. But Tomlin can't make players at AB's level do anything because money is involved; he can't just cut him. And lo-Key, Roethlisberger is an issue in Pittsburgh and has been. He's a blame shifter. Bad for business when adversity hits. People don't forget being thrown under bus, especially if, as in Ben's case, he's played poorly in stretches and big moments.
  22. He'd be the perfect swing tackle. Don't be surprised if Mills is around for a few more years.
  23. Both are good players, and Williams would be a good choice, but I would take Oliver; because Oliver is more dynamic at his position than Williams is at his, and dynamic interior defensive linemen can change games.
  24. He's been injured. Missed four or five games.
