Post-game thoughts after a disappointing loss
purple haze replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Have to get better up front. Have to. Beane should focus on the O-line first. So many resources already spent on the D-line. -
He was in the locker room when McDermott addressed the team, per McDermott. I’m more concerned how both lines looked during the actual game. And the lack of a consistent second WR. As long as Diggs doesn’t let his frustration cause him to get arrested for something he’ll be fine.

Post-game thoughts after a disappointing loss

Bengals have a better team wherever the game would be played. Both lines getting beaten up had nothing to do with weather. But folks gotta search for reasons, especially when the loss is still fresh. -
Post-game thoughts after a disappointing loss

The offensive line needs to be revamped with major resources and possibly position switches. They also badly need another playmaker on the outside to get the double-teams off Diggs. I think doing that will see Beane have to let a few significant guys walk because Allen’s new cap hit starts next season. -
It was. Both produce at a high level and both are home for different reasons that have absolutely zero to do with them.

Franchise in trouble- Josh Allen has regressed
purple haze replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
Both lines got their asses whupped. Game over. Not winning anything when that happens whomever happens to be the QB. I look forward to later this week when folks start posting reasonable takes about what Beane needs to do this off-season. -
So what? He’s not from Buffalo. He’s born, raised, went to college and played professionally in Pennsylvania. Of course he didn’t want to go anywhere. Showing up to work is exactly all he needed to do. He played hard, played hurt and produced over time. He was a professional. What you’re talking about doesn’t matter at all.

Eric Moulds - this week’s legend of the game
purple haze replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Moulds would be at the top if he had Josh Allen. Lord have mercy, they would dominate even more than Allen and Diggs. Moulds should have been a nationally known name based on his talent. I think he will be on the wall eventually. Not bad but he could’ve been HOF with consistent QB play. -
Smoke was still in position to make a catch. The DB just made a good play. Smoke needs to attack the ball and break that interception up. That was the biggest issue.

Fox News- Josh Allen's spiritual awakening
purple haze replied to Returntoglory's topic in Off the Wall
I understand where you’re coming from. I’ve known people who passed away who were having a good life. I’ve prayed for people and situations and didn’t get the results I was praying for. For whatever reason it wasn’t in His will. And I get upset like anyone else would. I get upset watching the news, etc. Then I pray for wisdom. My personal experience is all I can give you. Can’t speak for others. I can’t believe for others either and I’m really not trying to. Just giving a different perspective. Respect to you. -
Fox News- Josh Allen's spiritual awakening
purple haze replied to Returntoglory's topic in Off the Wall
Not necessarily. It means it wasn’t in God’s plan for that person to continue on in this realm. The Bible says it rains on the just and the unjust. Prayer is powerful ( I’ve seen that evidence in my own life.) That doesn’t mean we will always get the result we want. We see things through a limited prism. We see the surface of things. We don’t know about the intricacies of every person or every situation we encounter. For example, I had a friend who collapsed one day and passed away unexpectedly; had been taking weight loss supplements. I also know he was seriously struggling with his station in life. Dreams that didn’t come true, things he wanted to do for his family that he couldn’t do. He was very unhappy. And he carried that with him daily. For us left behind his passing was tragic. For him? Maybe the Lord was merciful and brought him home so he could have peace. Like I said we can only see through our limited prism. -
Because some may think that doesn’t make it true. And any team without a QB will gladly take him.

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
purple haze replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was seen in league circles as a guy who was a #1. The draft capital the Bills spent on Diggs is not given up for a potential #1. Diggs was stuck in a run first offense and getting him in a passing offense would allow him to be himself. -
McDermott hired a DC who believes in the same defensive principles he believes in. As most head coaches with a defensive background do. At some point you will have to accept it. If you want a different defense then you want a different head coach. But McDermott became a head coach because his defenses were successful. The Bills defense has had a lot success. And like every other defense they get their azz whupped sometimes.

The Jests; from 7-4 to 7-9. An epic collapse
purple haze replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nah. If they get a legit QB they will be a bigger issue than they already are. There’s the coming draft and Free agency too; the Bills might lose Poyer and Edmunds and others. Don’t play the Jets cheap. Decent QB play can get them in the mix. -
Chris Simms says whoever Tre is covering will be open
purple haze replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
No surprise at all. That’s why I told people to calm down when they were upset he wasn’t playing yet. It’s gonna be a minute before he’s back to himself, probably next season. But he still manages to be in position and make a couple plays here and there along the way. -
There a first time for everything. At some point through the years McDermott will get his road playoff win. Home is obviously preferable but if they have to play on the road they won’t be overmatched.

It’s the spotters who are supposed to see these things and pull players out not the coach. The spotters were supposed to be an independent eye to get around coaches and players not responding to potential concussions.

Original HOGS suing Daniel Synder and the Commanders
purple haze replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
They’re based in Northern VA. They play games in Maryland. -
They don’t give him many carries. Motor and Cook had 11-12 carries and got yards. 6-7 carries won’t get a RB anywhere. When Singletary gets carries he usually produces. It’s an OC issue not a Motor issue. His rookie year he was averaging 6 yards a carry but rarely could get more than 10-12 carries. I like 17 too but we don’t need to throw as much as we do.
-
He’s too young to be taking pay cuts . He won’t get a (relatively) big contract as it is compared to his peers at other positions. He needs to maximize while he can. This next contract is that chance. He doesn’t get the same volume of carries game in and game out like Jacobs. Neither does Cook.
-
Singletary can play. Cook can play. Gotta give them the ball though. 6-7 carries ain’t gonna get the best out any RB. Don’t be shocked if Motor is back. Won’t cost a lot. I like Jacobs. I think he’ll cost a bit more than Moror will. Hines might get flipped before/during the draft as part of a trade. It doesn’t appear Dorsey will use him as a RB much. Question is if they wanted to wait until next season to fully integrate him. But I can’t see how that makes sense.
