  1. The Washington Post covers the 'Skins. The rest of the league isn't followed as closely, outside the known dominant teams. The Jets got Jamison Crowder (A player the 'Skins beat reporters know well) and Leveon Bell and CJ Moseley; respected "impact" players. The Bucs got Bruce Arians to come and coach them. The 'Skins is that hometown joy juice talking, but all they know of the Bills is win-loss record (6-10) and a young, QB who might or might not be a franchise guy. I get it. All the Bills have to do is win more games than they lose and perceptions will change. In fact, they will change week to week as rankings do. Fret not. Sunday is coming quickly.
  2. Kroft injury questions, two rookies who they don't know how they will do when it's real bullets flying, and they probably like him as a player as well.
  3. He can be brought back during the season if he's IR'd after making the 53. If he goes on before that he's done for the year.
  4. ???No he's not. Stop with this foolishness. In 6 seasons Brown has 100 catches. Zay has damn near that in two. You can want the Bills to upgrade, that's fine. But don't make this type of anybody is better argument. To quote Chad Johnson, "Child, please."
  5. Nah. They let Shady go to let this kid play. He's their guy.
  6. It does come with the territory. So does illness, so does tragedy; that's part of living through life. Doesn't mean we can't be empathetic. Empathy is free.
  7. Truth about Dodger Stadium. Great place to watch a game.
  8. He's speaking with sources inside the organization. Do you have sources with conflicting information?
  9. They might not have liked Clark off the field...
  10. ? if I ever commit a crime I hope you're the witness. You saw over 30 sacks Mario's first three years in Buffalo and call him invisible...??
  11. Yep. It seems, these days, if a player loses on a play here and there, he's no good. In spite of all the good plays they might make. It's almost as if folks forget all players lose plays here and there. ALL. OF. THEM. Spain has made his share of good plays this pre-season and over his career. I'll trust Bobby Johnson's opinion on this one.
  12. Nice write-up. Agree on Allen. And here is the thing folks need to remember: bad throws, bad stretches will happen. It does for every QB. Teams still can find ways to win games and that QBcan contribute to that even during an off day (2 minute drive before half).
  13. One can say the same thing about pre-season stats...
  14. Inconsistent is true, but not the narrative. Read some of these posts over the past several months. And if Jones is as bad as those people say why would anyone trade for him? And If he's got enough value to trade him, why not keep him?
  15. Yep, and who is in the starting lineup with them? Hmmm? Like I said, decent. And I never said they couldn't do better. But the narrative that Jones does nothing right, ever, is asinine.
  16. Yes, decent. He hasn't been what you want from that high of a pick, but he's decent. You know who agrees with me so far? The organization. So, all you armchair GMs enjoy yourselves. ??‍♂️
  17. Knox had a QB in college who had three future NFL WR's to throw to before he thought of throwing to Knox. Sweeney did not.
  18. You have seen Duke, in the NFL-against NFL competition, make one catch like that. That's the reason they should keep him over Zay? Where was all the reports of him doing that consistently in practice during camp? I recall report saying he wasn't standing out at all. I'm not saying they can't do better than Zay. I'm saying folks see Duke make one catch and all of a sudden he should be kept. No. Do better than Zay, by drafting better or making a trade for a better WR.
  19. Who are you saying that catches the ball regularly? Duke? All of 3 passes you've seen him catch over two pre-season games? And before that game all the beat writers didn't even mention him in the competition for the last receiver spot? Come on now. Zay ain't great, but he's decent. Folks on here acting like the dude hasn't done anything. Not true.
  20. Yeah, you're crazy. I understand folks feeling like Zay is underwhelming when considering his draft position, but he's a decent player who has made plays in games that count. Duke has three catches in two pre-season games. And where has he been the rest of camp? Don't be a victim of regency bias. I'd keep McKenzie over Duke. McKenzie has made plays in games that count and he's made plays in the pre-season games and in camp consistently too. Bills don't need a tall WR. They need good WR's whatever size it comes in.
  21. ??? overraction is a message board credo.
  22. No. ICB never said anything about a trade, and he never mentioned any names. He did say there was something going on with the Bills, but nothing specific. The Twitter-verse took that and turned it into a Clowney trade. Then the twitter-verse who post on message boards kept that same thought pattern going during their posts. Then folks who don't like ICB took shots at him for this, that and the other. In fairness, in this case, ICB didn't mention Clowney or Trent Williams or any other player.
