  1. My point is well made. Do you have one that is relevant or do you want to keep hiding your hurt feelings behind sarcasm? ? I'm here for you guy. ??
  2. Sure they would. Brady is an all time great QB. He's also known for not taking hits. If a D-Lineman gets close to him he throws the ball away or falls down. Josh wants to run and stiff arm people, etc. I love it, but like I said, if he acts like a RB, defenders and the refs will treat him like that. Especially being as big as he is. A DB can't just "grab" Allen and stop him. They have to hit him with venom or he's running through them.
  3. Y'all are WAY too emotional about this. This is a football game. No defensive player from Pop Warner on up is going to stand there and think "Oh, one of my teammates has the guy around the waist, he'll bring him down, I'll just stand over here and watch" in the middle of a damned play. Allen is not on the ground, he's getting hit. Period. That's why coaches tell QB's to slide. Allen chose to try to get the first down. Cool. That comes with risk. Allen is 6'5, 240lbs and has a rep for running and mixing it up. Because one guy has him doesn't mean he can't get the first down. And the defenders are trying to prevent him from getting that first down. Allen is tall. Jones is 5'10. Allen lowers his head. Guess what level that will put him at? At Jones' head space. And every one of the players are moving fast. This isn't slow motion. People aren't thinking, they're playing in spite of what Goodell wants the world to believe. Stuff happens. I don't like the Patriots either, but this wasn't any intentional hit to take Allen out. Hell, he already threw 3 picks and fumbled. I'd want him in the game if I were them. If it were Poyer or Hyde and it were Brady, you all would be saying how it wasn't intentional, the game is moving fast, what's he supposed to do... Our boy played with fire one too many times and got burned. On to the next game.
  4. Pats like to play man on the back end. Cole Beasley, Dawson Knox and Motor should eat all day. Nickel and dining them should work, since the Pats will most likely bring extra pressure because the Bills o-line has struggled with that to a degree. Basically, do what the Pats do to everybody. Roll out Josh as well to move the pocket away from that pressure. Get that hat run game out on the edge too.
  5. NO. I love hoops. I'll observe hockey. But half the league making the playoffs should remain with those sports. The NFL playoffs are exclusive and should be. If one's team can't make the post season one's team should work to do better, Bills included. And I'm not for more regular season games either. 16 is enough. Football is king because of its urgency. Limited opportunities makes each game more meaningful.
  6. La Jolla is very nice. Nice seal watching too.
  7. I think one can predict they might perform better. The issues they have are self-inflicted, penalties, turnovers. Those are correctable. No defense they played dominated them.
  8. Love Pismo Beach and that entire corridor up through San Simeon. Everybody should visit Hearst Castle once in their life. Carpinteria is an awesome little beach community too for those who don't want to go too far from L.A. Orange County just does nothing for me. I'd rather keep on driving to San Diego.
  9. Unfortunately, the traffic and homelessness issues you talk about can be said for many major American cities. Lacking Infrastructure, stagnant wages, unaffordable housing with more "luxury" properties being built by the day. It will come to a head eventually. Traffic here will drive a sane person crazy though. California is a huge state with many types of settings. If you only stayed in Orange County/LA you missed out. And Huntington Beach is nice, AND boring like most of Orange County. Drive up through the central coast next time. Lots of cool little beach towns or farm towns if you go further inland.
  10. A bag of footballs. Excellent player, but he can't stay healthy. He's not worth giving up anything of serious value for that reason.
  11. I wanted him on the team from the get-go. And I agree with both points. He knows the scheme and he runs with purpose.
  12. Damn good point. But they traded for him which tells me they want to take a flyer. I guess I don't know what exactly they're trying to do.
  13. Fitz should never have been starting in the first place. He's only taking any team so far. Dolphins as an organization needs to see Rosen play so they can plan for the future one way or another at that position. That said, they can't measure Rosen by wins. They have to measure him by how he handles the meeting rooms, situations during games, etc. They don't have the horses to get a lot of wins.
  14. It's not even that much hype about the Bills. I've seen predictions that they lose too. And they're only a 1 1/2 point favorite. I think tomorrow we see the Bills win comfortably like they should have last week. They're the better team if they aren't sloppy with the rock.
  15. I keep hearing this take for some reason. When the Bills moved the ball into scoring position two or three times in the first half Mosley was on the field for that too.
  16. Truth. I don't watch halftime shows or pre-game "concerts". The sound is bad, the music isn't always my thing. They rarely show any meaningful highlights on any halftime show, especially Monday Night Football. Since they incorporated Hank Williams its been a more music based telecast around the game. It's not that they don't like the artist. It's the intentionally disrespectful way they denigrate the music, the culture, etc. They are entitled to their opinion. Others are entitled to call them out. All is well in our message board democracy.
  17. Don't mind them. They just have a case of economic anxiety w/a touch of victimization. Tucker Carlson is just right for some of them.
  18. Agree, he pulled it out when it mattered. But I disagree that nothing was going our way. The Bills were touching the Jets D up consistently. Can't be sloppy with the rock and it give it away. What didn't go the Bills way in the first half was self-inflicted.
  19. O-line was fine for the most part. Allen had time to throw more often than he didn't. They popped some runs when they had to have them too. There is room for improvement which isn't surprising considering how the preseason went. I don't think the starting group got many snaps together. There's a lot to be encouraged by. And someone tell Feliciano to chill with the unsportsmanlike penalties. Possibly cost us three points.
  20. Agree with you. But I will say, at least they tried to use DiMarco finally in the pass game. Watching this Cowboy/Giant game, Bills are going to come out throwing again. Giants look yuck on D. Allen has to avoid the turnovers.
  21. Nothing wrong with the play calling at all. Bills were moving the ball consistently. Those turnovers killed them. Game could have been a blow out for the Bills. Bell is still good. That said, he still only averaged 3 yards a carry. Bills have a lot to build off of.
  22. Where are all the folks who said Tomlin isn't a good coach because he was supposed to "control" AB?? Gruden couldnt "control" him either and neither will the next coach. IJS.
  23. I'm not sure he signs anywhere any time soon. He's been too erratic. But if he is picked-up I would bank on: Seattle, New England or the Jets. Seattle and NE because they have signed troubled players before and both teams have a need at the position. The Jets because they like flashy toys.
  24. A tone-setting, no holds barred beat down.
