  1. I've seen some posts. Because one has an opinion doesn't make it a good one or a relevant one.
  2. No reasons to complain about Yeldon. He's productive when he plays.
  3. Best of luck to him. I hope he is able to put things together out in Oaktown.
  4. The defense. There were obvious standouts like Phillips, but I could choose players at every level of the D. They are a tough group of dudes. McDermott/Beane. The Bills backups can ball. Beane found good options and McD and his staff have coached them up.
  5. Those were two great plays, but wide right, unfortunately, was more dramatic. And more memorable. And again, don't overlook the context the game was played in. It's probably a big reason the game is so memorialized. It was truly an "escape" from war, for some, while symbolically patriotic at the same time: superstar Whitney Houston making people cry over the anthem, a fly over that actually had meaning in real time, armed security at the stadium. And the game itself lived up to the hype.
  6. If only Hostettler's hand was weaker, we possibly get a fumble recovery in the end zone instead of that safety.?
  7. It's considered one of the best SB's ever played. Back and forth game, HOF coaches and players on both teams. Game came down to the final seconds. And context: country just entered into war, and Whitney Houston sings what is thought to be one of the best, and most memorable, versions of the national anthem, ever...
  8. Yes. Wilson had "it" and it was obvious. If he were three inches taller he'd have been picked top 5.
  9. Exactly. I like deep shots, but when they move the rock consistently it's on a diet of short/intermediate throws. I say keep the sticks moving. Knox might be what we've been wanting at TE. When Motor gets back I think we'll see those swing/screen passes.
  10. Played through high school. Was just okay. Had a chance to walk on at my HBCU school, but walked away quickly after I had a fall out with the Head Coach. Young and too full of false pride coupled with other opportunities I was involved in. Looking back on it as a grown man, I just think how stupid I was. Unfortunately, wisdom is usually hard earned.
  11. I hear you. Good question about fixing it. Although I would say Josh missed Smoke deep too. Allen is not throwing the deep ball well so far this season. Why?
  12. That was one occurrence. Doesn't mean it wouldn't work if they tried it again.
  13. Hey, I hear you. But job #1 is to get open and he was open. QB has to do his part.
  14. The 4th down pass was a bad pass. If he had caught it he would've been outside the end zone anyway. Because it was a bad pass. Calvin Johnson at 6'6 would have caught it. Julio Jones at 6'4 might have caught it. If Barkley throws a better pass We win the game. interception 2, Zay has his man beat by three damn yards. A better pass is a TD and we win the game. Why is it his fault the QB couldn't hit him? He was wide open going toward the end zone. You go outside and run as fast as you can in one direction then try to stop and go a totally different direction in a split second. interception 3 I'll give you. He could have made a better effort. At the same time when does our QB stop doing dumb s?!t like throwing the ball into nowhere? If Josh stops making dumb passes there won't be multiple interceptions and we win the game. And don't forget If Allen doesn't overthrow Zay, who had a step on his man, by five yards going toward the tunnel-end end zone we might score there too. This is the type of BS I'm talking about. Make sense with your criticisms. Zay ain't living up to his draft status, the Bills can upgrade from him, but everything that goes wrong isn't his fault either. Dude is open his share. QB has to throw a good pass too
  15. WR 4 or 5 or 6 on any roster because they can't even crack the starting lineup on their team.
  16. I'm not on the Zay must get gone at any cost bandwagon, but I disagree with you in terms of the WRs you mention. If Beane could get Diggs or Green at a reasonable cost he should do it. Those guys are vets. They can be useful now as is. Green would have to come real cheap though with his injury issues the past couple years.
  17. ?. I said they could upgrade. You said he was one of the worst WRs in the league. That's a different statement.
  18. There is no world Zay is on par with Benjamin last season. F$&k analytics. Eye test can tell you that. What does the All-22 show from yesterday? Was he open? Did he have opportunities. He had three steps on the DB, pass underthrown. Had a step on the DB, pass overthrown. Josh makes good throws and the narrative is different today. I'm not saying the Bills can't upgrade, and I'm sure they will at some point, which means grabbing a 1a to go with Smoke's 1b and Beasley becomes 3. But the narrative he should be cut is crazy, and more frustration that he isn't playing up to his draft position, than reality based. He's the third WR, and actually, might be 4th in line with Knox starting to show up. Bills are 3-1. Zay is the least of the Bills problems. Y'all should be posting about that offensive line and pass blocking. THAT is why the Bills didn't win that game. But go head and keep worrying about WR3.
  19. One of the worst starters? Okay. But There's about 60 or more WRs in the league who don't even do that. So, in the league? No. Ghost chaser. ? So was quarterback play for long stretches of the season. Nothing to say about that?
  20. Wow. I didn't know there was a Datsun with a fastback. I only knew that brand for pick-up trucks. Commander Tom. My man. And seeing Irv Weinstein's face reminds me of hearing "It's 11 o'clock. Do you know where your children are?"
  21. Bills could do better at Zay's spot, but they could do worse too. A trade would be good for me at this point. I'm tired of folks seeing ghosts. Whatever he does will be wrong or exaggerated for effect. I'm ready for a new whipping post. This one is played out like color rush jerseys.
  22. Prayers up that they both find peace in their spirits. God bless them. It's unimaginable.
  23. I said it would be handled differently if it were Brady; reading is fundamental. Brady is an all time great. We already know the league protects him unlike others. If you don't think Brady's stature in the game leads to the red carpet the league gives him I don't know what to tell you. I didn't say it was right, but it is what is. Again, watch the league. If it were Rogers or Brees they probably get the Brady treatment. Cam Newton? Nope. It was an entire controversy just a few years back. There are rules or perceptions of what does or does not break them; there are no guarantees. The guarantee is if Allen slid there would be no possibility to take that shot.
