  1. Yep, I agree about the trenches. NE also plays outside and they have won a lot of games at home in January.
  2. It's not the facility. It's the players and coaching. Nothing else. Draft well. Develop well. Profit. Detroit Lions ain't won a thing playing inside. Pittsburgh has 6 rings playing outside.
  3. Yeah, they do, but more than that they need to score points. The offense needs help too.
  4. I'm baffled by the small market talk. Green Bay and Kansas City are on prime time a lot. The Bills get ignored because they have been middling-to-bad for a long time. Super Bowl years they were a fixture on prime time. If the Bills win consistently, they'll be on prime time again. If the Bills get a transcendent player that can get them on prime time more as well.
  5. That be true. But for the most part, unfortunately, the Pats win a lot of games.
  6. Everybody for the past 15 years.
  7. They're good at both. Better at pass, but pretty good against the run. Outside last week.
  8. That's something he already is supposed to be proving during his suspension. Beane and company are already keeping watch in their way, I'm sure. If he comes in great shape they'll put him on PS if he clears waivers.
  9. Not this season. And this season is all that matters.
  10. Maybe. Don't forget, in this theoretical circumstance, that other teams might be willing to pay more of a price if Evans were available, for the very reason you stated.
  11. Often times Wallace was right there, he just couldn't get the hand in there in time. He's doing well, all in all. We're good at CB 2.
  12. Mike Evans is 26 years old. He' just entering his prime. He has produced at a high level. He's better right now than anyone they would get in the draft, which is a crapshoot. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills traded for a player like him. He fits now and the future. But it's probably a pipe dream for that very reason. Why would the Bucs want to deal him?
  13. Of course they made a deal. The Pats are never asleep. Damn...
  14. I would have liked to see more running of the rock early on, in particular. Gore should have had more than 11 carries.
  15. That looks like Joe Ferguson in '84. I recall Kelly's first year they started wearing all white again in the regular season, including at home. I recall them wearing blue pants in the pre-season that year though.
  16. The only good thing about the Bills wearing red this Sunday is that we don't have to see that garbage again for the rest of the season.
  17. They sure do. But I don't think they flip the switch on Vrabel this year.
  18. Titans, as a whole, aren't a mess. Their offense is a mess. But that's what happens when a team has no QB. Titans D is playoff good. Unfortunately, they're in that QB desert.
  19. Let me break it down for you. The post I responded to mentioned where Allen was in terms of QBR, etc. I've read complaints on this board that Allen never throws for 300 yard games. No, I don't care about those things. I watch the games like most everyone else. Of course, Allen can be better. What I don't care about are analytics or TV driven "QBR" arguments. The facts are Allen needed to improve his accuracy. He's done that. He needed to improve his decision making. He's still inconsistent in that area, obviously. He's also clutch. In close games, when the Bills need it he gets it. I care more about that at this point, oh great ScottLaw knower-of-all ??????
  20. Seriously. How many fourth quarter go ahead TD/Field goal drives has he led? What is his record in games started and finished? Wins and losses are what this is all about, ultimately. You Clearly ignore that. Yes, he can be better. They also don't win as many games without him. Not ignoring the defense. Allen still has to lead the winning drives, no? Sure, he needs to make better decisions. He does a lot of things well too.
  21. It's not a high school band. It's the Tennessee State University Marching Band. An HBCU with alums from Oprah Winfrey to Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Richard Dent, Wilma Rudolph, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and a couple players some on the board might remember, Larry Kinnebrew and Charley Ferguson.
  22. He should've never been in the booth. I'm watching for the game, not a comedy special or a concert.
  23. He is not as slow as people think, but he's not the quickest, which is why he has to make a lot of contested catches. One on one, DBs can stay with his routes. Beasley, for instance, is not the fastest, but quick. It's harder for DBs to stay on his routes, especially in tight spaces. Not a knock on Duke, he just had to understand how to win with his skill set consistently.
