  1. Jerry Butler played WR at Clemson. He was an excellent Bill for a long time.
  2. Jack Conklin or Joe Thuney Kyle Van Noy Year three for Josh. Things have to be air tight. I can see them leaving Cody at RT or moving him to OG, but whichever spot is open I believe Beane signs a guy. I also think Beane tries to trade for a WR as well as drafts one or two depending on if a trade can be successfully made. I would also love to see Beane grab Slater out of N.E. Him on Special Teams with Siran Neal would be dynamite.
  3. Bradberry's going to get well paid, and the Bills have to extend Tre. You think Beane ties up that much money on the CB spot? I don't see it.
  4. Diggs is like most athletes; they believe they are the difference, because throughout their life in sports they were. He complains, usually, when the Vikings are losing games and he's not seeing targets. It's not like he is AB.
  5. Aiyuk, I don't believe, will be there in round 3. But yeah, Beane should still draft a WR regardless of Free Agency or trades.
  6. Are there? Have you seen any of them play an NFL game or multiple seasons in the NFL? You are talking projections. Diggs is not a projection. He's proven at the NFL level and he's young.
  7. The 30+ guys won't be there long and when they leave Knox will just be hitting his prime and would have been getting reps all along. Their contracts wouldn't be exorbitant or for long. That's good seeing as Edmonds and Allen and White will be due for extensions. A vet at the TE position is probably best. I'd rather significant money go to other positions.
  8. Kyler Murray didn't have to say it. The A's said it for him.
  9. Not really. Cousins isn't worth what he's getting paid and Dak won't be either. They're very similar to me: good QBs who get paid or will get paid like elite QBs. Take one or take the other; same guy -- great play at times, good play more often, but ultimately, underwhelming team results (playoffs) directly related to what they don't get done.
  10. Not for me. The Bills have B+ players. They need more difference makers. It's time to go get some players who are that or have that potential.
  11. Maybe he's been in his position for 20 years, but didn't start out in that position when he joined the organization in '97.
  12. I believe when the Pegula's have a press conference to talk stadium it will be to tell us what they are doing, not the options.
  13. Lack of vision has plagued Buffalo for decades now. Campaign slogan: "No We Can't." Or "Let Me Tell You Why Not." Luckily the Pegula's don't seem to suffer from that condition; except when it comes to the Sabres.
  14. Doubt it mirrors Ford or Lucas Oil. I think we see something similar to the Soccer stadiums in Europe. Covered seats, but open air and modern architectural elements, but not so much as to be out of place in the city.
  15. Vegas doesn't need football or the stadium. Folks would still go there. Football is just another attraction to sell.
  16. It sure did. Both areas are totally different from what they were. Chinatown was ghost- like at night until Mr. Pollin built MCI Center (Now Capital One Arena). Staples Center begat L.A. Live. That complex has given Downtown a different vibe. It used to be desolate down there after 5pm. Not anymore. Difference is those are hoops arena's which hosts so many games/events it leads to people being around the areas.
  17. Yes there are a lot of teams who could use a starter, but there are better options available than Dalton right now. He might find a starting gig if things break in his favor, but things would have to break in his favor. He won't be at the top of the list of QBs. We shall see though.
  18. He may not have a starting opportunity. Don't forget the amount of QB turnover this off-season is unlike any other. Brady, Rivers, Bridgewater, Tannehill are free agents. Cam might be available. Carr could be if Brady does the unthinkable. Burrow, Tua and Herbert are 1st round picks; Jordan Love might be too. Fitz has that Miami gig already. If he's not in Cinci as the bridge, there's a good chance Dalton is only a back-up QB going forward.
  19. Not definite, true, but the dots are hard not to connect. I hope the Pegula's will make their announcement on the plan so folks can move past the speculation. And I do hope that after all this time, the actual stadium design renderings are part of the announcement.
  20. Nice if that happens, but don't count on it. If he earns a big payday he deserves to get what the market dictates. Hopefully, the new CBA makes it a moot point. From what I understand the NFLPA are trying to get QB salaries counted less against the cap because of how out of whack those salaries are in comparison to the other players.
  21. Agree. But if I were a betting man, I'd bet on the downtown option being what is chosen by the Pegula's.
  22. You can make all the arguments and post all the articles you want to. A new stadium or a major renovation will happen; it will cost what it costs and public money, in some form, be it for the actual stadium or serious infrastructure improvements, will be a part of it. This Is pro sports in the modern era: generate "more" money or get out of the game. The Pegula's aren't getting out of the game, and were aware of the stadium issue when they bought the team. They have helped build up parts of downtown, and have a lot of real estate holdings downtown. How many more dots do you need to connect what's going to happen?
  23. You'd be surprised how well trained the eye of a scout is. Many can get damn close to telling slight differences. When one is around players all the time and watching film you can discern a lot.
